CHAMPAIGN – Funeral services for Mildred McConkey, 82, of San Antonio, formerly of Champaign, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at St. John Lutheran Church, 509 S. Mattis, C. The Rev. James Wright will officiate.
Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Friday at the church. Heath and Vaughn and Funeral Home, Champaign, is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. McConkey, died Sunday morning (Sept. 24, 2000) at her daughter's home in San Antonio.

Mrs. Sansone died at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday (Sept. 26, 2000) at Hilltop Nursing Home, Charleston.

URBANA – Maudie Hefley Shipman, 93, of 803 E. Fairlawn Drive, U, died at 8:40 a.m. Tuesday (Sept. 26, 2000) in Pesotum.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Road, U. The Rev. Bob Hassel will officiate. Burial will be in the GAR Cemetery, Homer.

WESTVILLE – Emery Slavik, 80, of Westville died at 3:45 a.m. Tuesday (Sept. 26, 2000) at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 231 N. State St., Westville. The Rev. David Erickson will officiate. Burial will be in Danville National Cemetery.
