WESTVILLE – A funeral Mass for Emma M. Mikel, 75, of Westville will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 231 N. State St., Westville. The Rev. David Erickson will officiate.
Burial will be in St. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Westville.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, with a wake service at 8 p.m., at Wolfe Funeral Home, 414 S. State St., Westville.
Mrs. Mikel died at 9:14 a.m. Tuesday (Sept. 26, 2000) at Champaign County Nursing Home, Urbana.
Betty Nelson
DANVILLE – Graveside services for Betty M. Nelson, 76, of Danville will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Spring Hill Cemetery, Danville. The Rev. Tyson Parks will officiate.
There will be no visitation. Leek & Sons Funeral Home, Danville, is handling arrangements.
Mrs. Nelson died at 8:15 p.m. Monday (Sept. 25, 2000) at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center, Logan campus, Danville.

ALTAMONTE, Fla. – James Albert Nelson, 72, of Chicago died Sunday morning (Sept. 24, 2000) at the Life Care Center, Altamonte Springs, Fla.
Burial will be in Chicago at a later date.

DANVILLE – Betty Jane Proctor, 77, of Danville died at 5 p.m. Tuesday (Sept. 26, 2000) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion St., Danville. The Rev. Dave Garver will officiate. Burial will be in Danville National Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

WESTVILLE – A funeral Mass for Emery Slavik, 80, of Westville will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 231 N. State St., Westville. The Rev. David Erickson will officiate.
Burial with military rites by VFW Post 51 of Westville will be in Danville National Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Wolfe Funeral Home, 414 S. State St., Westville.
Mr. Slavik died at 3:45 a.m. Tuesday (Sept. 26, 2000) at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.

ARCOLA – Deborah Marie Smith, 46, of Arcola died at 1:25 p.m. Tuesday (Sept. 26, 2000) at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Coles County.
