Frederick W. Biermann, 85, formerly of Mt. Prospect, passed away on Saturday, July 24 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Hts.
He was born Nov. 29, 1924 and was a U.S. Navy Sailor in World War II who served aboard the U.S.S. Roche.
Funeral services were held at St. John Lutheran Church in Northbrook on Thursday, July 29.
Biermann is survived by his wife, Luella Sandar (nee Tegtmeier); children Linda Born and Thomas (Jeannine) Biermann; grandchildren Jennifer and Katie Born, and Lisa (Jeff) Cohen; step-grandchildren, Amy and David Stupay; and sister, Virginia (Ray) Wilke.

Linda C. Camodeca, 68, formerly of Arlington Hts., passed away on Saturday, July 24, in Long Grove. She was born Jan. 11, 1942 in Chicago.
A memorial service was held at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. on Friday, July 30.
She is survived by her children, Anthony, Perry (Judith), Jeffrey (Nancy), and Kristine (William) Thies; grandchildren, Kari, Amanda, Sarah, Joseph, Britney, Perry Jr., Anthony, Michael, and Amy; sister, Carol Graszer; former husband, Perry; and nephews, James, Randall, and Peter.

Shirley A. Cook, 88, formerly of Barrington, passed away on Saturday, July 24 in Barrington. She was born Apr. 19, 1922 in Benton Harbor, MI.
Mass was celebrated at St. Anne Catholic Church in Barrington on Wednesday, July 28.
She is survived by her husband, William Cook; children, William (Jennie), Michael (Pamela), Susan, and Peter; grandchildren, William Michael (Kim), Andrew (Elizabeth), Shanon (Howard) Filip, Timothy, Anthony (Jennifer), Steven, Ryan, Victoria, Cary, and Jessica, and eight great-grandchildren.

John William Costello died Wednesday, July 28 at the Lutheran Home in Arlington Hts. He was born May 14, 1923 in Chicago.
He is survived by children John William (Cary) Costello IV, Mary Ellen (Philip) Maher, and Maureen E. (Robert) Pasquale; grandchildren Andrew (Jenni), John W. V (Tasha), Shannon and Patrick Costello, Michael (Megan) and Katie Maher, Melissa (Scott) Mc Kee, Rachael (Chris) Fitzsimmons, Phillip (Michelle) Jacobs, and Bobby, Michael, and Anthony Pasquale; brother Richard (Madeleine) and Donald (Gale); and many great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by wife Dora, brother Philip (Pat) Costello and sister Mary (Donald) Meccia.
A funeral service was held Saturday, July 31 at Our Lady of the Wayside Church.

Norma J. Davis of Arlington Hts. died Friday, July 23 in Yakima, WA. She was born Oct. 4, 1929 in Hanover, IL.
She is survived by children Christine (Joel) Rosaaen, Cynthia (Lewis) Walloch, and Gregory Davis; grandchildren Carrie (Travis Petersen) Rosaaen, Jennifer (Nick Stortz) Rosaaen, Thomas (Carla) Walloch, and Lauren Davis; sister Lillian Gragg.
She was preceded in death by husband Charles T. Davis and parents Roscoe and Charlotte (nee McCoy) Parker.

James Henry Doherty, Jr., 75, formerly of Niles, died Tuesday, July 27 at Alexian Brothers Behavior Health Center. He was born Tuesday, Feb. 12, 1935.
He is survived by wife Bernadine Doherty, daughter Pamela (Michael) Neri, siblings Bridget Nelson and Michael (Diane) Doherty, and grandson Ryan.
He was preceded in death by father James Henry Doherty, mother Mary Josephine Doherty, son Timothy Doherty, and brother Dennis Doherty.

Richard Paul Lake, 76, of Glenview, died Thursday, July, 22 at Maryhaven Nursing Home in Glenview. He was born April 5, 1934.
