Interment followed in Town of Maine cemetery. A graduate of the University of Illinois and a veteran of U.S. Navy service, he died Mar. 29. Surviving are his widow, Ruth (nee Wallen); children A.J. (Sharon) D'Ambrosio, Aileen (Steve) Morley and Alicia Hanafin; a sister, Judy Bollier; four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Memorials are requested to Shorewood Bible Church, 1900 Hicks Rd, Rolling Meadows, IL 60008.

HARRIET EDDLEMAN
Longtime Des Plainesite

Harriet Eddleman, (nee Morler), wife of the late Charles William, died on Mar 29. She was born in Evanston on Oct. 8, 1929. The family later moved to Des Plaines where Harriet graduated from Maine Township High School in 1947. It was while living in Des Plaines that she met Bill Eddleman. They were married for 55 years until his passing a little more than three years ago. Harriet spent most of those years as a homemaker, taking care of Bill and their three children Sandra (Chicago), Steven (Iron River), and Kathleen (Concordia, Kansas). Harriet was the grandmother of Gerald, Anthony, Jennifer, Sean, Kelleen and Ryan. She is survived by her brothers, Bill and Ted, and her sisters, Barb and Louise. Harriet also left behind her many friends in Iron River.

Of Park Ridge

A funeral service for Jeanne H. Fry, 70, of Park Ridge, was held Apr. 4 in the First United Methodist Church of Park Ridge. Interment followed in Town of Maine cemetery. Arrangements were by Ryan-Parke Funeral Home, Park Ridge. She died Apr. 1 in her home. She was a 30-year employee of LaSalle Bank. Surviving are her husband, Jack; children John S. (Dawn), Michael Scott, Julie (Chris) Stinnett, and Brian; grandchildren Cody, Jessica, Kyle, Nicole, Shanon, and Danielle; and her sister, La Verne Zimmerman. Memorials are requested to Rainbow Hospice, 444 N. Northwest Highway, Park Ridge.

A funeral Mass for Mary A. Gajos, 81, took place on Saturday, Apr. 1 at St. Tarcissus Church. Interment was at All Saints cemetery in Des Plaines. Visitation was Friday, Mar. 31 at Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home in Niles. Mrs. Gajos was born on Mar. 29, 1924 in Chicago. She was a homemaker and died on Mar. 28 at Lexington Healthcare in Schaumburg. She was preceded in death by her husband John, her parents Thomas and Frances Cwiertnia, and her siblings Stanley and Walter Cwiertnia. She is survived by her children Diane (John) Kelliher, Corinne (Robert) Tiedemann, and Ronald (Elizabeth) Gajos. Her grandchildren Ken (Erika) and Mike (Melissa) Kelliher, Charlene (J.B.) Dow, Steve (Lauren) Kelliher, Mark (Sonia) Tiedemann, and Daniel, Michael and Timothy Gajos, her four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital, 1650 Moon Lake Blvd., Hoffman Estates, are appreciated. Funeral arrangements were made by Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home.

Edison Park resident Dennis M. Garrity passed away Mar. 27. Services were held Monday at the Immaculate Conception Church. Mr. Garrity is survived by parents Donald and Mary (nee Joyce); siblings John (Penny), Eileen (Jeffrey) Castles, Mary Kay, Brian (Peggy) and Jean (Robert) Arnold; nephews Kevin, David, Steven, Nathan, Michael, Jack and Danny; and nieces Maribeth, Melissa, Erin, Patsy, Nora, Lauren and Colleen. Arrangements were made by Cooney Funeral Home in Park Ridge.

Services for Lottie A. Giza were held at Meadows Funeral Home. She was born Sept. 11, 1919 in Chicago. Mrs. Giza was preceded in death by husband Stanley and siblings Florence Dobiszewski, Eleanor Majewski, Viriginia Alberts, Joseph Chmielinski and Edmund Chmielinski. Survivors include sons Roger and Wayne (Virginia); daughters Margie (Bob) Batiste and Kathy (Matt) Liuzza; grandsons Brian (Donna) and Brett (Amy) Giza, Bradley (Ruth) and Brent (Stephanie) Batiste, Denny and Steve Lehman and Michael Liuzza; granddaughters Brooke (John) Pudar, Kathy Lehman and Sandra (Mike) Hagland; great-grandchildren Taylor Giza, Kailey, Jonah, Abby, Hannah and Hope Batiste, Kathryn Backe, Andrea Lehman and Christopher, Heather, Sammy and Emily Hagland; and sister Rose Truskowski. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

A funeral Mass for Mary B. Grauman, 89, a Chicago resident with Niles family ties, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Apr. 8, in St. John Brebeuf Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph cemetery, Chicago. Arrangements are by Skaja Terrace Funeral Home, Niles. A native of Hillsboro, IL, she died Mar. 31 in her home. She worked as a supervisor for a local telephone company and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. The daughter of Paul and Johanna Leisnig, she is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Hubek of Niles; a son, Edward P. (Monica) Wallen; grandchildren Derek and Victoria Wallen and Jason Hubek; and friends Philip Hubek and Maria Klim. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Edward C. Wallen and Philip H. Grauman. Memorials are requested to the Alzheimer's Association of Greater Chicagoland, 4709 Golf Rd., Suite 1015, Skokie, IL 60076.

FRANCES A. HITZELBERGER

A funeral Mass for Frances A. Hitzelberger (nee Homse), 94, took place on Wednesday, Mar. 29 at St. Colette Church Entombment Memory Gardens cemetery in Arlington Hts. Visitation was Tuesday, Mar. 24 at the Meadows Funeral Home. She was born Sept. 7, 1911 in Chicago. She was the past president of the St. Martha's Senior Club. She was the wife of late Hugo and mother of late Roberta Hitzelberger. She is survived by her children Caroljean (William) Stutzman, Dawn (John) Evans, 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and her sister Charlotte Homse. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or St. Colette Gardens Fund. Funeral arrangements were made by Nelson Funeral Home.

JEFFREY M. HOYNE
Age 37

A funeral Mass for Jeffrey Michael Hoyne, 37, took place on Monday, Apr. 3 at St. Edna Church in Arlington Hts. Memorial visitation preceded the Mass. Mr. Hoyne was born on May 27, 1968 in Chicago. His bright and shining spirit overshadowed his physical limitations. He loved his family, his dear Cubs, anything Notre Dame, March Madness, rock n roll music, and sharing those things with his housemate at McGowan Home of Misericordia. He died on Mar. 31 at his home. He is survived by his parents Jeffrey B. and Suzanne nee Michels, his sister Kristi (David) Beening, his niece Morgan Marie Beening, aunts and uncles July and Steve Jelm, Will and Sheila Michels, Kathy and David Novosel, Dr. Susan Hoyne, and David Hoyne, and hoards of loving friends. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Misericordia Home, 6300 N. Ridge St., Chicago, are appreciated. Funeral arrangements were made by Meadows Funeral Home of Rolling Meadows.

CASIMIRA A. JACOBS

Casimira A. ³Casey² Jacobs passed away Mar. 22 at the Los Robles Regional Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, Ca. while visiting family. Mrs. Jacobs was a Rolling Meadows resident. Mrs. Jacobs was preceded in death by husbands Paul Jacobs and Arthur Schanmier; son Arthur Schanmier; and step-son Steve (Margaret) Jacobs. She is survived by daughter Karen (Paul) Henley; step-daughter Denise (John) Schuyler; step-son Mike (Becky) Jacobs; grandson Ryan Henley; and brother Ray Pilszak. Visitation took place Friday at the Meadows Funeral Home. A Mass was held Saturday at St. Colette.

VIOLET C. JEDLINSKI
Of Arlington Heights

Funeral services for Violet C. Jedlinski, 82, took place on Tuesday, Mar. 28 at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home and St. Juliana Church. Interment was at St. Adalbert cemetery. Visitation was Monday, Mar. 27. Mrs. Jedlinski was born on Dec. 7, 1923. She worked as an executive secretary for an electrical manufacturing firm and was a member of the St. Juliana Friendship Club. She died at The Moorings Health Center on Mar. 24. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Jedlinski and her parents Sabina and Titus Dombrowski. She is survived by her siblings Jean L. (Walter) Kazun and Chester L. (Henrietta) Dombrowski, and her nieces and nephews Ronald T. Jedlinski, Kenneth Jedlinski, Arlene Marcoullier, Lorraine Brey, Stanley Kazun, Edward Kazun, Barbara Singh, Bernice Cabana, Teresa Dumas, Mary Hansen, Emil Dombrowski, Kathryn Dombrowski, Christopher Dombrowski and Andrew Strilchuk. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Moorings Healthcare Center of Arlington Hts or Hospice of Northeastern in Barrington are appreciated. WILBERT J. KOCH

Wilbert J. Koch died Mar. 25 in Arlington Hts. Visitation was Mar. 27 at the Glueckert Funeral Home and Mar. 28 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church. He was buried at Ridgewood cemetery. Mr. Koch was born on Dec. 27, 1927 in Maine Township to Henry Sr. and Elise (nee Mueller) Koch. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Shirley F. (nee Meyers). Mr. Koch was a member of the Cook County Farm Bureau and the ILCA. He was owner of Koch and Sons Landscaping and Lucky Acre Garden Center in Arlington Hts. He was also a longtime member of St. Matthew. He is survived by his sons, Robert (Kristina), Thomas (Joan), James (Daryll) and Bill (Suzanne); his grandchildren, Kristopher, Nicholas, Jaclyn, Carol, Regan, Sheryl, Billy, Whitney, Alex, Adam and Hunter; brothers Henry and Irvin (Norma); and many nieces and nephews.

HENRY A. KOSINSKI

A funeral service for Henry A. Kosinski, 93, took place on Friday, March 31 at St. Isaac Jogues Church. Interment was at Maryhill cemetery in Niles. Visitation was at Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home in Niles on Thursday, Mar. 30. Mr. Kosinski was born on Mar. 25, 1913 in Chicago. He was a retired Chicago Police Officer after 35 years of service. He was also a proud member of the Chicago Patrolmen's Assn. and the Fraternal Order of Police. He died on Mar. 27 at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine H. (nee Dzierzynski). He was the loving father of Marilyn (Stephen) Zachmann and Josephine A. Œ'JoAnn'' (Charles) Faso, the cherished grandfather of Gregory (Virginia) Arens, Debra (Paul) Beebe, Gina Marie Faso, and Michael H. Faso, and the devoted great-grandfather of Jamie Lyn Arens, Jayden Faso and Brooke Beebe. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital are appreciated. Funeral arrangements were made by Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home.

Visitation was held at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home, Niles, Thursday. A native of Chicago, he died Apr. 2 in his home. he was a truck parts salesman and was a veteran of service in the U..S. Army. Surviving are his widow, Marie (nee Brancato); his daughter, Kathy (Tim) Carberry; grandchildren Robert, Kristine and Conor; and sisters Joan and Millie. Memorials are requested to the American Cancer Society.

JUNE C. OPEL

A funeral service for June C. Opel, 85, of Niles took place at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home in Niles on Friday, March 17 at 10:30 a.m. Visitation was at Skaja on Thursday, March 16 from 3 to 9 p.m. Interment took place at Oakridge cemetery, Roosevelt and Oakridge Ave. Born in Chicago on June 17, 1920, Mrs. Opel was a homemaker. She was a member of the Niles Senior's club, Maine Township Senior's club and the Grandmother's Club. She died on March 15 at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. Mrs. Opel was preceded in death by her husband, Max F. Opel; father, William Dodd and mother Jessie (nee MacKenzie) Dodd. She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Robert) Sroka of Niles and Lorie (Craig) Williams and grandchild, Jennifer Williams.

ANTHONY L. RABATTINI SR.
Teacher and Navy Veteran

A funeral service for Anthony L. Rabattini Sr., 78, took place on Saturday, Apr. 1, at Grove Memorial Chapel in Elk Grove Village. Interment was at Memory Gardens cemetery in Arlington Hts. Visitation was Friday, Mar. 31 at Grove. Mr. Rabattini was born in Pievepalago, Italy. He served in the U.S. Navy in WWII and earned his Bachelor's degree from Illinois State University and his Masters from Northern Illinois University. He taught at Higgins School of Elk Grove Township, Dempster Junior High in Mt. Prospect and Friendship Junior High in Des Plaines. He was a district administrator with District 59 for 33 years, and an assistant principal at Dempster Junior High for 20 years. He died on Mar. 29 at Manor Care Nursing Center in Elk Grove Village. He was preceded in death by his daughter Gina Marie Rabattini and his sister Pia Fontana. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Elizabeth A. nee Tjaden, his children Cynthia Clemons, Kristina Mueller, Anthony L. Jr., and Malcolm Young, his siblings Ernest (Erika) Rabattini, Valentina Bortolotti, Nancy Arroyo, and Yones (Bill) Lawler, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and friends. Please omit flowers. Funeral arrangements were made by Grove Memorial Chapel.

WILIAM B. SALE
Age 89

Wiliam B. Sale, a Chicago man formerly of Park Ridge, died March 25 in the Midwest Palliative & Hospice CareCenter, Skokie. Mr. Sale was born Jan. 12, 1917 in Chicago and was a diplomatic officer for the federal government. Many friends and family survive him. Interment was private; a memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements were through Ryan-Parke Funeral Home, Park Ridge.

LUCILLE SENO
Of Des Plaines

Lucille Seno passed away Mar. 31 at Nazarethville Care Center in Des Plaines. She was 86 years old. A beautician by trade, Mrs. Seno was preceded in death by husband Peter Mantegna and sister Rosemary Suranno. Survivors include children Mary (Joseph) Umana of Des Plaines and Yolanda (Daniel) Stachnik of Mt. Prospect; grandchildren Joseph, Rose, Sarah, Javier, Luann and Eric; eight great-grandchildren; and siblings Joseph and Carlo Matero and Edith Ann DiMaria. Visitation took place Monday at Severino's River Woods Funeral Chapels. A funeral Mass was Tuesday at St. Edna's Catholic Church in Arlington Hts., followed by interment at All Saints.

JULIUS P. TROTTIER
Age 86

Julius P. Trottier passed away at his Mt. Prospect home Mar. 15. Memorial services were held at Crossview Church in Antioch. Mr. Trottier leaves behind wife Sally; daughter Julie Trottier Braakman; grandchildren Sam, Matt, Schuyler and Pete; and brothers Norbert and Martin. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, generosity and kindness.
