Visitation was held on Thursday, Jan. 11, at the Oehler Funeral Home Des Plaines Chapel. Mr. DeWald, Jr. was born in Chicago on Oct. 15, 1942. He died on Jan. 6 in Arlington Heights. He was a retired Lt. Commander in the U.S. Navy, and he worked as a freight expediter for Mediterranean Shipping of Rosemont. Mr. DeWald, Jr. was survived by his brothers Gregory (Barbara) DeWald and Gary (Donna) DeWald, niece Grace DeWald, and nephews Gregory, Jr., George A. III, Geoffrey, and Christopher DeWald.

She died on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007 as a result of a automobile accident. He worked for 46 years as a mechanical engineer in the electronics industry with both Zenith Corporation and Shure Brothers. He was an active member of the Tuesday Mt. Prospect Twilight Golf League, the Thursday Night St. Raymond Golf League, the Chicagoland RC Modelers Incorporated and Fleet 4 Commanders. He died on Jan. 9, 2007. Mr. Guskey is survived by his wife Janice L., children Susan G. (Gregory) Bleidorn and Carolyn A. (Brian) Bleidorn, grandchildren Alyssa, Nicholas, Alexander and Nathan, and brother Donald (Kathy) Guskey.
