Donna M. McKeague, 52, of Elk Grove Village, died in her home on Friday, July 31, 2009. She was a social worker at Loyola Medical Center. A funeral mass service was held Tuesday, Aug. 4 at Queen of the Rosary Church. Interment was at St. Michael the Archangel. She is survived by her husband, Roger J. Jr.; mother, Helen M. Malocha, and sister, Barbara (Gerald) Kmiecik. She was the sister-in-law of Kevin, Arthur (Linda) McKeague.

Of Elk Grove Village
Joseph R. Miranda of Elk Grove Village, Illinois, and Hoover, Alabama, passed into life on August 8, 2009. He was 87 years young and survived by his sister, Connie Standifer of Alabaster, Alabama, and his sister-in-law, Diane Miranda of Valley Stream, New York, his 13 nieces and nephews and their families and a host of very dear friends. Richard W. Moeller, of Arlington Hts. died on Aug. 12, 2009. He was born on Nov. 26, 1946 in Elgin. He is survived by his wife, Jean; children, Leslie (Jeff) Huntington and Rebecca (Erick) Jordan and his grandchildren, Jade Moeller-Jordan and Kyle Huntington. A funeral service was held Monday, Aug. 17, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Arlington Hts. Interment was at Memory Gardens.

Mary Jane Mullenix, 91, of Glenview, died on July 31, 2009. She was the wife of the late Charles Wood Mullenix, M.D.; mother of Michael (Gita) Mullenix, Patricia (Peter) Mangione, Albert (Carole) Mullenix, Stephen Mullenix, James (Julie) Mullenix, John (Margaret) Mullenix, Joseph Mullenix, Maureen (Tom) Spathies, the late Mary Catherine (Robert) Hackett, and the late Terry Mullenix, grandmother of 21. Funeral services were held Aug. 5 from Donnellan Family Funeral Home in Skokie to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Glenview.

Carolyn C. Novak (nee Picatagi), 98, of Rolling Meadows, died Aug. 9, 2009 at The Greek American Rehab in Wheeling. She was born Sept. 6, 1910 in Morgan City, LA. She was the wife of the late Michael; mother of Karen Teague; grandmother of Brian Teague, Amy (John) Teague Dempsey. A funeral service was held Wednesday, Aug. 12 at Meadows Funeral Home in Rolling Meadows with interment at All Saints cemetery, Des Plaines.

William C. "Bill" Parenti, 68, of Des Plaines died on Aug. 8, 2009 at Alden Nursing Home in Des Plaines. He was born June 14, 1941 in Chicago. He was a Navy veteran and worked for People's Gas Co. A funeral service was held Tuesday, Aug. 11 at Oehler Funeral Home in Des Plaines. He is survived by his wife, Annette L., children, Gina L. (James) Bronson, James J. Mazzocchi, Dino M. (Nanci) Parenti, Joanna (David) Panos, Joe A. (Rachel) Mazzocchi and his six grandchildren.

Carol Rose Reinhofer, 66, of Buffalo Grove died on Aug. 12, 2009. She was the companion of Reggie Prokof, mother of Michelle (Cary) Rose-Skinner, Tracey (Katie Burrill) Rose and Kimberly (Patrick) Story; grandmother of Kaitlyn, Anna and Ryan. Stepmother to Cindy Miaso, Peggy Rompala, Dave (Nancy) Prokof and Tim (Kelly) Prokof; sister, aunt and great aunt. A life celebration service was held Aug. 15 at Kolssak Funeral Home in Wheeling.

Juanita Faye Voegel, 79, of Niles, died on Monday, Aug. 3, 2009. She was born on Nov. 25, 1929 in Chicago. A funeral service was held at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home on Thursday, Aug. 6 and St. John Brebeuf Church with interment at Maryhill cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Robert Voegel; children, Robert (Marlene) Voegel and Pamela (James) Lowder; grandchildren, Lisa (Mark) Rogers, Jennifer, Bobby, Michael, Jonathan and Karen.
Wesley Paul Bois
World War II medic
Wesley Paul Bois, 86, of Indianapolis, passed away August 27, 2009. He was born November 18, 1922 in Serena, IL, to Armand and Gladys (Malaise) Bois.
Wesley served as a medic during WWII. He is a graduate of the University of Chicago. After several years with Lawter Chemicals, he opened his own business "Lion Marketing" and retired in 1997.
Visitation will be held Saturday, August 29, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, 8540 US 31 South, with a memorial service to follow. Burial will be held Monday, August 31 at 10:30 a.m. CST at Memory Gardens cemetery, Arlington Heights, IL. A memorial service will be held at Prince of Peace United Methodist Church, Elk Grove Village, IL on Monday, August 31, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Wesley is survived by his loving wife, Diana DeWeese Bois; children, Rovelle (Chris) Bersted, MO; Don Bois, CA; Matthew Bois, IL; Dana Bois Draper, Indianapolis, IN; Robert (Denise) Bois, WA; four grandchildren, Chelsea, Tory, Shari and Thor; and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Emil J. Brinkman, 85, were held Friday, Aug. 7, 2009, at Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit. Interment was in Memory Gardens cemetery, Arlington Hts. Mr. Brinkman was born in Lyons, Illinois. He retired from Walter E. Slager, Inc., as a plaster laborer. A veteran of the Army Air Corps, he was a member of the 390th Bombardment Group. He was the husband of Delores L; father of Christine (Robert) Heimlich, Kathy (Darrel) Andrews and Diane (Doug) Barnes; grandfather of five, great-grandfather of two.

Tim Isufi was born Sept. 9, 1965 in Chicago and died on Aug. 15, 2009. He was a Cub Scout den leader and enjoyed coaching his children's sports teams. He is survived by his wife, Pam; children, Daniel and Olivia; siblings, Nadire (Xhevit) Taka, Liri Isufi, Fatime (John) Black and Drita (Vince) Hilgart; his father Hysen Isufi; nieces and nephews, sister-in-law and mother-in-law. Louise Parrilli, 80, was born Apr. 18, 1929, in Michigan. She died on Friday, Aug. 14, 2009 in Park Ridge. She is survived by sons, William (Polly) Parrilli and John; four grandchildren, a sister, many nieces, nephews and other extended family members. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles and son, Charles. Prayers were said Tuesday, Aug. 18 at Glueckert Funeral Home in Arlington Hts. and St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Wheeling. Interment was at Queen of Heaven cemetery.

Denise Paulish, a long-time resident of Des Plaines, died on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2009, in her home. She was active at St. Zachary Parish and taught CCD for 12 years. She was the wife of Terry; mother of Matthew (Lynette) and Kevin; grandmother to Patrick and McKenzie, daughter of Frank. She is also survived by her brothers, sisters and mother-in-law. A funeral service was held Saturday, Aug. 15, at St. Zachary Church, Des Plaines.

Donald Earl Schlosser, 58, of Rolling Meadows, died Aug. 16, 2009 in his home. He was born Sept. 5, 1950 in Chicago and served in the Army during the Korean conflict. Mr. Schlosser was a postal carrier for over 33 years in Rolling Meadows. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie and daughter, Nicole; sister, Denise (David) Schaefer, nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held Wednesday, Aug. 19 from Meadows Funeral Home chapel in Rolling Meadows to St. Colette Church.

Ignacy S. Skiba, 86, of Niles, died on Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2009, at Lutheran General Hospital. He was born May 3, 1923. Before retirement, he worked as a machinist. A funeral service was held at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home on Monday, Aug. 17, and Our Lady of Ransom Church. Burial took place at Maryhill cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Bronislawa Skiba; children, Joseph (Barbara) Skiba, Maria Dagley (Richard) Hanzel, Augustyna (Ted) Godek, Krystyna (Jim) Kaczmarek, John (Caryn) Skiba, Michelle (Jim) Davison, his seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
