Visitation preceded the service at Countryside Funeral Home in Roselle. Her husband Glenn and her son Jeffrey preceded her in death. Her sons Greg (Monica), Glenn II, and Timothy (Beth) survive her.

A native of Chicago, she died Jan. 17 in Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Surviving are her son, Ryan, and her parents.

A funeral mass for Joseph A. Tortorello, 88, of Arlington Hts., was celebrated Thursday, Jan. 15 in St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Hs. Road. Entombment will follow in Queen of Heaven Christ the King Crypts, Hillside. A native of Chicago, he died Jan. 11 in Northwest Community Hospital. He was a draftsman for Clow Corp. in Chicago and Glen Ellyn. He was a former Grand Knight of the Fr. F.X. Breen Knights of Columbus Council #1899. His brother, Patrick, survives him.

Interment was at Queen of Heaven cemetery. Ms. Wasilewski was born April 14, 1915 in Chicago Heights. She passed away on Jan. 4, 2009 at her home. She is survived by sister Stephanie (late Gerald) Sullivan, nieces and nephews Mary Lou (Robert) Pope, Jerome (Barbara) Spector, Judy DiGiacomo, Nancy Sullivan, Donald (Britt Tove) Sullivan and Janet (Dennis Creaney) Sullivan and many great nieces and nephews. Ms. Wasilewski is preceded in death by parents Blaise and Ann, sisters Frances (Stanley) Kaczmarek and Mary (Jerry) Spector, nieces Betty Kaczmarek, Dorthy Brooks, Carol (John) Vitulli and nephew James (JoAnne) Kaczmarek.

Her husband Michael Fitzgibbons and her children Blake (fiancée Angela Kiddoo) Cosentino, Suzie Cosentino, Nina (Lorenz) Burkert, and Christian (Meral) Cosentino survive her.

Visitation was held at Skaja Terrace. Dabek was born in Romania on Feb. 25, 1918 and died at home in Harwood Heights on Friday, Jan. 16, 2009. She was 90 years old. Dabek was the proprietor of a gift shop. Dabek is survived by her daughter Teresa (Robert Kraphl) Dabek, grandchildren; Luke, Anna and Elizabeth Dabek, nieces Irena and Agata Dabek and nephews; Adam, Wojciech, Pawel and Piotr Dabek. She was preceded in death by her husband Wladyslaw, brothers Josef and Eugenlusz Tressenberg and her parents Eugenlusz and Anna Tressenberg.

A funeral service for Charles John Guthrie, 85, of Mt. Prospect took place Thursday, Jan. 22, at Friedrichs Funeral Home in Mt. Prospect. Visitation preceded and followed the service. A second service will be later in Brookfield, Wisc. Mr. Guthrie was born on Oct. 7, 1923 in Mukwonago, Wisc. He died on Jan. 14 at home. His daughter Cynthia Ann and his son Charles John Guthrie Jr. preceded him in death. His wife of 60 years, Mary Elizabeth (nee Britton) and his son-in-law Rev. Charles Hoffacker survive him.
