A funeral service for Marian Phyllis Teague (nee Gisser), 84, took place Monday, Feb. 26, at St. Walter Church. Ms. Teague died on Saturday, Feb. 17 at Alexian Brother Medical Center. She was a long time member of the Campanelli YMCA and enjoyed playing cards with her ladies group. She was survived in death by her children Jim (Carol), John (Yvonne) and Joan (Sam House) Bornack, siblings Edna Solley and Dorothy Holewinski, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Ms. Teague was preceded in death by her husband Jack and sibling Frank Gisser. A funeral service for Rita M. Tures, 87, of Des Plaines was held on Monday, Feb. 26 at St. Raymond's Church in Mt. Prospect. Visitation was held on Sunday, Feb. 25 at Oehler Funeral Home in Des Plaines. Interment was at All Saints cemetery. Ms. Tures was born on May 30, 1919 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. She had been a resident of Des Plaines for 45 years. In her free time she loved nature and was an avid golfer for many years. She died on Feb. 22, 2007. She is preceded in death by her husband Hub, siblings John, Nora and Larry, and grandchild Marirob. A funeral service for Gail A. Voeks, 50, of Batavia and formerly of Arlington Heights, was held on Monday, Feb. 26 at St. Edna Church in Arlington Heights. Visitation took place on Sunday, Feb. 25 and Monday before the service at Friedrichs Funeral Home in Mt. Prospect. Interment was at St. Michael the Archangel cemetery. Ms Voeks was born on Sept. 8, 1956 in Chicago. She passed away on Feb. 21, 2007. She is preceded in death by her parents Fred and Faye Snell and brother Don Snell. Ms. Voeks is survived by her husband Rick, children Jeannie, Nicholas and Michael, brother Gary (Nancy) Snell and sister-in-law Susan. Zagorski (nee Troch), 94, of Elk Grove Village took place Saturday, Feb. 17 at Queen of the Rosary Church in Elk Grove Village following prayers at Grove Memorial Chapel. Visitation was the previous day. Interment at St. Joseph cemetery in River Grove. Mrs. Zagorski was born in Chicago. She worked at Slidematic Products for over 20 years before her retirement in 1972. She passed away Monday, Feb. 12 at Alexian Brothers Hospice House. She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Leonard Zagorski, her dear brothers Edmund (Eleanor) Troch and William (the late Jeanne) Troch, and her sister Mary Euphrosine. She was devoted grandmother of Justin Paliotte and Amanda Paliotte, and fond aunt to many nieces and nephews. Visitation 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. at the Community Church of Rolling Meadows. Mrs. Page was born Feb. 8, 1928 in Eden Prairie, Minn. She worked for Illinois Bell as a long distance operator and directory assistance operator for many years. She passed away Friday, Feb. 9 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Hts. She is preceded in death by her husband Forrest Bass and her siblings Stewart Page, Paul Page, and David Page. She is survived by her children John (Leslye) Bass, Nancy (Jim) Whisenant, Susan Bass, Stuart Bass, and Barbara Nelson, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and her siblings Calvin (Laurie) Page, Ken (Dina) Page, Lewis (Bev) Page, Walter (Suzan) Page, Ralph (Edith) Page, and Barbara (Paul) Nethercott. She was a loving homemaker, who lived in Elk Grove Village for 25 years before moving to Schaumburg. Ms. Clarizio was survived by her beloved husband of 52 years Louis Clarizio, Jr., as well as her loving sons Louis III (late Meegan), Stephen (late Randi), and Robert (Kris) Clarizio, daughter Laura (Scott) Kauth, and cherished grandchildren Louis IV ("Skip"), Neenah, Katie, Danielle, Steve, Jr., Bobby, Jr., Johnny, Jimmy, Tommy, Scott, Jr., and Angela.

A funeral service for Peter J. Finan, 47, was held on Monday, Feb. 12, 10 a.m., at the St. John Brebeuf Church. Mr. Finan was born on March 5, 1959 in Chicago. He died on Tuesday, Feb. 6, at Lutheran General Hospital. He worked as a police dispatcher in Lincolnwood, Morton Grove, and Niles. He was also a member of the Morton Grove Moose Lodge #376, and the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. Mr. Finan was survived by sisters Lois (Derek) Morton and Julie (Barry) Pecho, father Peter Joseph Finan, Jr., aunt Margaret Keyser, uncle John Finan, nieces Heather and Mary Elizabeth Pecho, and Godchildren Erin, Mark, Nicholas and Mary Elizabeth. He was a veteran of the Army and Air Force and worked as a photo engraver. He died on Feb. 7, 2007 at Lee Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation in Des Plaines. He is preceded in death by his wife Eleanor and sisters Lillian Freko and Irene Leonard. Mr. Fornoff is survived by his son Dennis (Nancy) Fornoff, grandchildren Kenneth, Keith, Steven and Heather and nieces and nephews Kathleen Leonard, Carol Galassini, Susanne Sullivan and Donald Freko.

A funeral service for Carol M. Fruehe, 92, a lifelong Des Plaines resident, was held on Friday, Feb. 9 at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Visitation took place on Thursday, Feb. 8, at G.L. Hills Funeral Home. Interment will be at Ridgewood cemetery. Ms. Fruehe was born on Jan. 9, 1915 in Des Plaines. She worked as a registered nurse and nursing home administrator. She was a member of the Des Plaines Women's Club for over 50 years and was a past president of the Maine Township Women's Club. She was also a past president of the Des Plaines Travel Club and a member of the Women's Guild of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She died on Feb. 5, 2007 at her home in Des Plaines. She is preceded in death by her husbands Rudolph C and Dr. Raymond Sorensen and brother Dr. Alfred J. (Mary C.) Kreft. Ms. Fruehe is survived by son Roger (Sally) Sorensen, daughter Joyce (Jim) Pawlik, grandchildren Peter and Kate Sorensen, Becky Osborne and Kristin Pawlik, great-grandchild Chi Pawlik, brother Dr. Warren (Dorothy) Kreft and sister Marion (William) Beaman.

A funeral service for Kenneth R. Harris, 86, was held on Saturday, Feb. 3, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church. Mr. Harris was born on Dec. 6, 1920 in Gillespie, Illinois. He died on Tuesday, Jan. 30, at the St. Matthew Center for Health. Mr. Harris was a United States Army veteran of World War II. He was also a former Mended Hearts volunteer at Lutheran General Hospital. He worked as a salesman at a confectionary company. He was survived by his daughter Lynne (Ken) Kalberg, grandchildren Christopher (Kim), Jefferey, and Andrea Zito, and brother William Harris. He was also the uncle of many. Mr. Harris was preceded in death by his wife Eleanor Harris, father William Harris, mother Josephine Harris (nee Forsythe), son Craig Harris, and sisters Marguerite, Edith, and Josephine Harris.

A funeral mass for Elizabeth M. Hill (nee Wolfrum), 86, of Rolling Meadows was expected to be held Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 10 a.m. at the Meadows Funeral Home in Rolling Meadows. Visitation was yesterday. Interment at St. Michael cemetery in Palatine. Mrs. Hill was born Mar. 22, 1920 in Chicago. She served in the Army during World War II. She was a retired Chicago school teacher at Skinner and Avondale schools and a member of the Chicago Teachers Union. She is preceded in death by her brother, Avery Jr. "Sonny" Hill and her daughter Marguerite "Teddy" Hill. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Edward Hill, her children Elizabeth "Beth" (Leslie) Hill-Bryant, Mary (Tim) Campion, and Edward "Ned" (Cathy) Hill, seven grandchildren, and her siblings Mary Quirk and John (Jo Anne) Hill.

Evelyn Ruth Laugal (nee Wick), 90, will have a private funeral service after passing away on Friday, Feb. 9, at Northwest Community Hospital. She was born on April 6, 1916 in Mankato, Minnesota. Ms. Laugal worked for Littelfuse for many years as an accounts payable clerk. She was survived by her children John (Susan), Susan (Larry) Peterman, Patti (Ron) Rozensky, Pam (Robert) De Haven and Lynn (Gary) Cozart, and grandchildren Katie and Michael Laugal, Andrew (Liz) and Jonathan Peterman, Sarah (Brian) Alcorn and Jordyn Rozensky. A funeral service for Kenneth H. Mangels, 73, of Sycamore, formerly of Palatine for 62 years, took place yesterday (Thursday) at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home in Palatine. Visitation was the previous day. Private burial at Memory Garden cemetery in Arlington Hts. Ken was born June 28, 1934 in Palatine. He was a 1952 graduate of Palatine High School. After serving in the Army, he worked for the Pure Oil Company, which became Unocal. Ken worked in the accounting department and retired after 34 years of service. He was an avid bowler and played on Unocal's league for 30 years. He also enjoyed playing softball and football with his Unocal colleagues. He enjoyed home building projects, collecting coins, model cars, and sports memorabilia, and was a model train enthusiast. He passed away Saturday, Feb. 3 at Kishwaukee Community Hospital. He is preceded in death by his parents Harold J. and Esther (nee Herschlag) Mangels. He is survived by his beloved wife Sherrill, his beloved son Kyle (Chuck) Milem, and his cherished grandchildren Ryan Elizabeth and Michael Drew. A funeral service for Henry V. Moore, 93, was held on Saturday, Feb. 3. He was born on June 2, 1913 in Holland, Ohio. He died on Tuesday, Jan. 30, at Northwest Community Healthcare Center in Arlington Heights. Before retiring, Mr. Moore was the vice president of sales for Fearn International in Franklin Park. He was founding Exalted Ruler of Arlington Heights Elk Lodge #2048. He was an art collector, woodworker, and avid swimmer. He also played football at the University of Illinois, where he graduated from in 1935.Mr. Moore was survived by his son John Moore, and grandchildren Rachel and Matthew Moore. He was preceded in death by his parents Vallee and Anna Moore, his ex-wife Marjorie "Marty" Moore, and his brothers Joseph, Ted and Leo Moore.
