A funeral service for Daniel J. Campbell, 19, of Chicago, and formerly of Hoffman Estates, will be held Friday, Apr. 13, 10 a.m. at St. Colette Church. Visitation will be held today (Thursday) from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Meadows Funeral Home in Rolling Meadows. Mr. Campbell was born on Mar. 14, 1988 in Arlington Heights. He died Apr. 9. He attended James Madison High School and was a student of veterinary medicine at Fox College in Oak Lawn. He is survived by his parents, David and Laura Campbell and Julie and Frank McCann; siblings, Katie, David and Elise Campbell and Megan and Kelsey McCann; grandparents, Robert Campbell, Charles and Irene Bergmann, Thomas and Mary McCann, and Carolyn Etchison. Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by his grandparents, Betty Campbell and Kenneth Etchison. Interment was held at St. Michael cemetery in Palatine. A funeral service for Loretta M. Carstens nee Fritz of Elk Grove Village, 81, was held Saturday, Apr. 7 at Grove Memorial Chapel. Interment at Woodlawn cemetery. Ms. Carstens was born in Chicago. She was a loving homemaker who wanted to be remembered as a good mother. She was a Kenneth Young Center volunteer, a member of Sheila Ray Elk Grove Senior Center, a grandmother, and a friend. She passed away Monday, Apr. 2. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Michael D. (Christine) Carstens, her fond brothers Ernest Fritz and Frederick Fritz, and her sisters Lillian Galuhn, Betty Holland, and Shirley Lindenmeyer. She is survived by her daughters Kathleen L. (William) Hammerschmidt and Debra A. Carstens and her grandchildren.

Mrs. Corsiglia died on Thursday, Mar. 29, at Manor Care Nursing Center in Elk Grove. She was a loving homemaker, and member of the Alter & Rosary Society of St. Angela Church and The Daughters of Isabella. Mrs. Corsiglia was survived by her children Robert J. (Emilie), Richard J. (Barbara) and John J. (Nancy), grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband John R. and siblings John, Joseph and Edward (Edna) Sbertoli.

She was music director at St. Mary's Church in Des Plaines, St. Zachary's Church in Des Plaines and Queen of the Rosary Church in Elk Grove Village. Patricia played countless weddings and funerals in the Northwest suburbs. She was also a piano and voice teacher for over 50 years. Patricia passed away Monday, Apr. 2. Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, Robert R. Grubbe, her parents and many brothers and sisters. A funeral service for Delbert Lloyd Harris, 78, took place Tuesday, Apr. 10, at St. Julian Eymard Church. Born in Edgar Springs, Missouri, Mr. Harris died peacefully at home with his family on Friday, Apr. 6. He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran who was retired for 15 years from Zenith Electronics as vice-president of original equipment manufacturing. Mr. Harris was survived by his children Therese (Rob) Bergmann, Steve (Cathy) Harris, Liz (Dick) DeSimon, Ellen (Rob) Moll and Nancy (Steve) Furlong, brothers Jack (Barbara), Frank (Lana), Gerald (Norma) and Ken (Charlotte) Harris, and sisters Margie (Russ) Taylor, Fay Lyman, Lee Joy Willis and Barbara Walters. Leland R. Helwig, age 92, died April 3, 2007. Born February 3, 1914, in Madison, Wisconsin, he was a former 40-year resident of Des Plaines. Mr. Helwig was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta. Survivors include his five children, Sharon (Nick) Ference, Richard Helwig, Lee (Terry) Helwig, Kathleen (Marty) Carey, and Carol (Gary) Helminski; six grandchildren, Jeff (Colleen) Ference, Colleen Carey, Scott Helminski, 2nd Lt. She was a philanthropist and volunteer for the developmentally disabled. She and her husband established the first residential home for Clearbrook Center. They also endowed an infirmary for the developmentally disabled men at Good Shepherd Manor in Momence. She died Friday, Apr. 6 in Arlington Hts. She is preceded in death by her husband, William J. McAllister, whom she married

A funeral service for Foster B. Roser, Jr. of Prospect Heights, 79, was held Wednesday, Apr. 4, at St. Simon's Episcopal Church is Arlington Heights. Mr. Roser was born on May 7, 1927 in Detroit, Mich. He died Friday, Mar. 30 at Northwest Community Healthcare Center in Arlington Heights. He wa a life-long employee of General Motors, retiring as a regional manager in 1984. He served in the Navy during World War II and volunteered for 22 years at Northwest Community Healthcare Center in Arlington Heights. Foster served on the stewardship committee at the United Church of Christ Rolling Meadows and at the National level for the UCC. He was the chair of the finance committee and also served on the board of directors for the Rob Roy Homeowners association. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth A. (nee Des Jardins); children, Victoria (Ray Hofmann) Simms, Melissa (Daryl) Metzger and Pamela (Paul) Geallis; grandchildren, Hope, Joshua and Joy Geallis; brother, Sherman (Victoria) Roser; niece, Wendy Campion.
