Interment at Maryhill cemetery. Ms. Dettloff was born Nov. 1, 1923 in Chicago. She worked as a sales representative for ladies' clothing. She died Saturday, May 26 at Midwest Palliative & Hospice Care. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Dettloff, her parents, William and Estelle Samp, her grandchildren Darrin (Terri) and Christina, her great grandchildren Tiare, Ryder, and Dallas, and her cousin Lorraine Coulias.

Funeral services have been held for Bruce S. Faierson, formerly of Glenview, 55. Mr. Faierson was born in Chicago. He grew up in Glenview, attending Rugen School and Glenbrook South High School, and also Northern Illinois University and Eastern Illinois University. He was a lifelong guitarist who shared his passion for music with his wife, Kathy. He was also a MIS manager. He was formerly active with the Schaumburg Sluggers, Palatine Panthers, Veernon Hills Sluggers, Shotokan Karate and BGRA baseball. He was a devoted Stevenson High School softball fan. He passed away May 7, 2007 at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington. Bruce was loving husband of Kathleen (nee Gobberg) Faierson, proud father of Eric and Jennifer, cherished son of Dorothy (nee Schiele) Faierson and the late George, and fond brother of Richard. A funeral service for Helen R. Jensen, 95, formerly of Arlington Heights and Schaumburg, will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow (Thursday) at the First United Methodist Church in Glen Ellyn. Visitation will be held tomorrow from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be at Memory Gardens cemetery in Arlington Heights. Ms. Jensen was born on Mar. 15, 1912 in Mt. Pulaski, Ill. She was formerly the vice-president of the Bank of Elk Grove Village. She was the first female to hold the position of vice-president in the banking industry in the Chicago and suburban area. She was an avid reader, liked to travel and enjoyed music. She died on Friday, June 1 at Brighton Gardens in Wheaton. She is preceded in death by her husband, William J., sons John Roos Sr. and Donald Jensen and granddaughter Lori Roos. Ms. Jensen is survived by her daughter Pamilla (Joseph) Gallo, grandchildren Michael, Rondee, Thomas and Susan Gallo, John Roos Jr. and Loretta and Donald Jensen Jr., her great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. A funeral service for Louis Capozzoli, 76, will take place today (Friday), 10 a.m., at Our Lady of Ransom in Niles. Burial will take place at All Saints cemetery. Mr. Capozzoli was born on September 17, 1930 in Chicago. He died at home on Monday, May 28. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, and co-owner of Square Deal Shoes in Des Plaines, a family business that began in 1921. Mr. Capozzoli was a longtime Des Plaines resident before moving to Niles. Mr. Capozzoli was survived by his wife Julie (nee Bissing), children Louis (Julia) Capozzoli, Bob (Lana) Capozzoli and John "Jack" (Christine) Capozzoli, grandchildren Jackie, Charlie, John, Nick, Bobby, Jana, Louie, Jannae and Steve, and siblings Joseph (late Marge) Capozzoli and Aida (Bob) Guss. Dorothy S. Dibbern, 99, recently died peacefully at Oakton Pavillion retirement facility in Des Plaines after suffering a major stroke several years ago. She will be remembered by family and friends at a memorial service on Saturday, June 2 at 2 p.m. at First Congregational Church of Des Plaines, 766 Graceland Ave., Des Plaines. Mrs. Dibbern was born in 1908 in Chicago. Her parents were Richard A. and Dora M. Scheuler. Her two sisters, Beatrice and Betty, preceded her in death. Throughout her life she maintained a love for Chicago. She followed news events of the city and loved to drive around to see the changes to the city she knew as a child. Also, she was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. In 1926, she married
Walter E. Dibbern. They celebrated 64 years of marriage before Walter"s death in 1990. She is survived by three children, Barbara Gilchrest, Norma Jenkins and Walter Dibbern, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Dorothy Dibbern was active in her church, served as an election judge for many years and volunteered at the Women"s Club Baby Clinic and Meals-On-Wheels. The Dibberns opened Dibbern Electric Store in the late 1930s and re-opened as Dibbern Appliances after World War II when appliances were again available.
