Interment was at Acacia Park cemetery. Mr. Hovet was born Dec. 6, 1953 in Chicago. He passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2009. He is survived by wife Sandra, children Rebecca, Richard and Robyn, grandson Jacob and brother Robert (Patricia).
James Edward Johnson

A funeral mass for James Edward Johnson was held in St. James Church on Friday, Jan. 30 with interment following at Memory Gardens cemetery. Visitation was Thursday, Jan. 29 at Glueckert Funeral Home. Mr. Johnson was born Jan. 27, 1942 in Waterloo, Iowa, and died at his home in Arlington Heights on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009. Johnson graduated from St. Ambrose University and completed his MBA at the University of Chicago. He worked as an accountant for North Shore University Health Systems. He was a doting father and devoted Northwestern University Wildcat fan. Johnson is survived by his wife of 44 years Karen; children Julie (Andy) Wallace, Jenny, and Jeffrey (Jennifer) Johnson; grandchildren Jasmine and Jordan Edward Johnson, and Sydney and Emily Wallace and siblings Jacquie (the late Michael) Kallman, Barbara Ackerson, Mary (Richard Jr.) Burroughs, Trudy (Jerry) Lines and Rosemary Meekins. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Evelyn Johnson and his brother Bud (Eileen) Johnson.

A memorial visitation for William H. Koeller, 61, formerly of Berkeley, took place Tuesday, Feb. 3 at Friedrichs Funeral Home in Mt. Prospect. Mr. Koeller was born on Aug. 11, 1947 in Chicago. He died on Jan. 29, 2009. His wife Elizabeth (nee Ringbauer) and his children Kimberly (John) Bliss, William (Rebecca) Koeller, Joseph Koeller, and Tamara (Donald) Carson survive him.

Grandmother of Jamie (Norman) Busse and Chad (Cathy) Layton. Great grandmother of Jordan and Maya Busse, Samuel, Michael and Grace Layton.

Ella Meyer, 95, of Arlington Hts. died Jan. 29 at The Lutheran Home. She was born June 19, 1913 in Arlington Hts. Meyer worked as an accountant for many years for Butler Comp in Des Plaines. She was the daughter of the late Phillip and Emma Meyer, sister of the late Della, Elsie, Alfred, Arthur, Ted, Elmer and Herman Meyer, Dora Bencic, Mary Pohlman, Clara Trost, Lena Held and Anna Hinneberg. She is also survived by nieces and nephews. Visitation was Tuesday, Feb. 3 until the time of service at The Lutheran Home, 800 W. Oakton, Arlington Hts. Interment was in Memory Gardens cemetery.

A funeral mass for Catherine M. (Kitty) Pape, 98, of Park Ridge, was celebrated Feb. 2 in Mary, Seat of Wisdom Church. Burial followed in All Saints cemetery, Des Plaines. A native of Chicago, she died Jan. 26 in St. Benedict Home, Niles. Arrangements were by Ryan-Parke Funeral Home, Park Ridge. Widow of the late Capt. Frank W. Pape of the Chicago Police Department, she is survived by children Judith (Richard) Clark, and Gerald (Becky); and grandchildren Rick (Kathleen), David and Christopher (Keely) Clark, Kate (James ) Kennedy, Jerry, Frank (Anouk) Pape, and Becca (Ross Wenger) Pape.

Adrien Pearson of Des Plaines, died on Feb. 2. Entombment will be in All Saints cemetery. Born on June 17, 1924 in Canada, Winnepeg, Pearson was a veteran of World War II, was in the Coast Guard and worked as a carpenter. He is survived by his wife, Lee (nee Lash); daughter, Michele Stinger, son, Randall (Susan) Pearson, grandchildren Roberta (Tony) Gordon, Julie Tully, Rebecca Stinger, Jeremy Pearson, great grandchildren, Megan, Mia, Brendon, Abigail, Natalie, Gillian, Caitlin, brother, Edward (Marilyn) Pearson.

Ms. Stark was born Nov. 10, 1932 in Bluffton, Indiana. She passed away on January 28, 2009 in her home. She is survived by husband Joseph, children John, Steve (Renee), Susan (Michael) Waszak, Carol (Thomas) Chandler and Kathleen (Gene) Magner, ten grandchildren and siblings Jacqueline Craven, Jim, Dave and Bob. She is preceded in death by siblings Richard and Donald Sommer.

She is survived by son Robert, granddaughter Kathryn, sister-in-law Florence Wasz, nieces Barbara (Larry) Beyna and Mary (Bisher) Mufti and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband Louis.

A memorial service was held for Richard Benson, 83, of Arlington Hts., at Grace Lutheran Church, Mt. Prospect, on Saturday, Feb. 14. Interment was in West Batavia cemetery. Born October 29, 1925 in Geneva, Benson died in his home on Feb. 8. He grew up in Batavia, enlisted in the Navy in World War II and was a graduate of University of Illinois as an electrical engineer. He was employed for 38 years with Commonwealth Edison. He was the husband of Betty Benson, father of sons, James (Tanya) of San Dimas, CA, Thomas (Pauline) of Houston, TX and Mark (Lynne) of Hoffman Estates. Grandfather of Lisa, Scott, Matthew, Michael, Katherine, Nathan, Trevor and Tyler. Loving brother of Mary Glynn of Rockford.

Her husbands Jan Chromik and Stanley Buchaniec preceded her in death. Her children Walter (Mariola) Buchaniec, Stanley (Stella) Buchaniec, and Theresa Badshid survive her.
