Mass was celebrated for Mary Ryndak, 49, of Chicago at Immaculate Conception Church July 22. Interment in Maryhill cemetery. Survivors inlcude her husband, Steven; siblings, Thomas (Teresa), Joan (Gary) Wencel, William (Cynthia), Jerry (Jill). She was preceded in death by her sibling, Patrick and her parents Thomas and Bernice Kehoe.

DOROTHY H. SAEWERT
Of Park Ridge

A funeral service for Dorothy H. Saewert, 101, of Park Ridge, will be held on Wednesday, July 28, 10:30 a.m., at St. Luke Church in Park Ridge. Interment will take place at the Town of Maine cemetery. Visitation took place Tuesday, July 27, at Cooney Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Born on December 11, 1902, Mrs. Saewert died on July 24, 2004. Mrs. Saewert is preceded in death by her husband Charles. Mrs. Saewert is survived by sons George (Lillian), Norman W. (Donna); daughter Shirley Trafton; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Grove Village

Services were held for Echo Bringer, 65, of Elk Grove Village Monday at Grove Memorial Chapel. Mrs Bringer passed away October 7, 2004 in Resurrection Medical Center. Survivors include her husband James; children, Kenneth and Heather (Dino) Skapyak; brother, Jeffrey Lenz; sisters, Fay Lenz and Joy (Bob) Herman; and grandchild Dina Marie Skapyak. Memorials to American Cancer Society.

JULIANA F. ZAREMBA
Elk Grove Homemaker

A funeral mass for Juliana F. Zaremba, 70, an 18-year resident of Elk Grove Village, was celebrated Oct. 11 in Queen of the Rosary Church. Burial followed in Maryhill cemetery, Niles. Arrangements were by Grove Memorial Chapel, Elk Grove. A native of Phillips, Wisconsin, she died Oct. 6 in her home. She was a homemaker. Surviving are her husband of 48 years, Anthony; sons Joseph J. (Arlene), James A. and John F. (Amy); grandchildren Bryan, Kevin, Rusty, Rhys, Alexis, Remington, and Anthony; and siblings August Spacek, Joseph (Helen), Frank (Pepi), John (Alice), Steve, Ann (John) Smolak, and Marie (Dan) Jarmolinski. She was preceded in death by a brother, George, and a sister, Betty Guenther.

A funeral mass for Terrence Rogus, 57, of Wheeling, was celebrated Sept. 28, at St. Catherine Laboure. Interment in Maryhill cemetery. Visitation took place Sept. 27, at Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home. Born Dec. 13, 1946, in Chicago, Mr. Rogus worked as a pharmacist. He passed away Sept. 24, in Wheeling. Mr. Rogus is survived by his children, John, James and Robert Rogus; his grandchild, Peyton; his brother, Tim Rogus; and his parents, John and Marie Rogus.

ANN ZDUNEK
Resident of St. Joseph's

A funeral mass for Ann Zdunek, 90, of Chicago, was celebrated Oct. 1, at St. Joseph Nursing Home. Interment in St. Adalbert cemetery. Visitation took place Oct. 1, at the nursing home. Born Oct. 5, 1913, in Chicago, Ms. Zdunek worked as a secretary for a financial company. She passed away Sept. 28, at St. Joseph Nursing Home. Ms. Zdunek is preceded in death by her brother, Andrew F. (Mary) Zdunek; and her parents, Andrew and Catherine (nee Kowalczyk). She is survived by her siblings, Walter (late Irene), John (Lorraine), Joseph, Mary (Joseph) Wilken, Stanley and Edward; as well as her nieces and nephews, and great and great-great nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Pearl Bailey, 93, of Schaumburg, was held Sept. 25, at Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home in Niles. Interment in Bethlehem cemetery in Springfield, Kent. Visitation took place Sept. 25, at the funeral home. Born Dec. 9, 1920, in Springfield, Kent., Ms. Pearl worked as a beautician at a beauty shop. She passed away Sept. 21, at Alexian Brothers Hospital. Ms. Pearl is preceded in death by her parents, John and Myrtle Bailey; her sister, Irene Burns and her niece, Shirley. She is survived by her sister, Hazel (late Frank) Willard and her nephew, William.

JACK H. HARRIS
Of Elk Grove Village

A funeral service for Jack H. Harris, 73, of Elk Grove Village, took place Friday, Oct. 8, 11 a.m. at Grove Memorial Chapel. Interment took place at Abraham Lincoln National cemetery in Elwood. Visitation took place Friday, Oct. 8, 9 a.m., at Grove Memorial Chapel. Born in Flint, Mich., Mr. Harris worked as a U.S. Air Force Master Sergeant and was a member of the American Legion Post 216. He was named Special Olympics Volunteer of the Year in 1998, and was also named Special Olympics Family of the Year. Mr. Harris died Wednesday, Oct. 6 at Alexian Brothers Hospice House. Mr. Harris is survived by his wife Janet; sons Michael (Debbie), David (Mary Beth), Chuck, Alan, Jody (Kathryn); daughter Karen (Leo Charles) Wise; sister Sandra; and nine grandchildren.

RICHARD J. CWIK
World War II Vet

A funeral service for Richard J. Cwik, 87, of Elk Grove Village, was held Saturday, Oct. 9 at Grove Memorial Chapel. Interment was in River Valley Memorial Gardens. A 48-year resident of Elk Grove Village, Mr. Cwik passed away Wednesday, Oct. 6 at Alexian Brothers Medical Center. He served in the Army during World War II. He was a retired accountant, having worked for Merkle Korff Industries of Des Plaines. He was a member of the Elk Grove Lyons Club, the Shiela Ray Senior Center, and the Fox Run Golf League. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Betty Ann (nee Harding); loving daughters, Pamela B. (Ronald) Garlisch and Penny A. (Bill) Magana; and his cherished grandchildren, Tracy (Dan) Kenning, and David and Beth Magana.

PETER BOS
Of Mt. Prospect

A funeral service for Peter Bos, 88, of Mt. Prospect, took place Monday, Oct. 11, 1 p.m. at Oehler Funeral Home in Des Plaines. Interment took place at Memory Gardens. Visitation took place Sunday, Oct. 10, 3 to 8 p.m. at Oehler Funeral Home. Born in the Netherlands on Jan. 20, 1916, Mr. Bos worked for the Dean Milk Company in Franklin Park for over 25 years. Mr. Bos died Oct. 8 at Oakton Pavillion. Mr. Bos is preceded in death by his wife Catherine; and brother Jan Bos. Mr. Bos is survived by his wife Dorothy; daughters Ruth Bos, Elaine (Eldred) Hudson; sons John (Susan) Bos, Peter (Diana) Bos Jr.; sister, Wietske Bierma; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

NANCY GULBRANSEN
Of Des Plaines

A funeral service for Nancy Gulbransen, 50, of Des Plaines, took place Wednesday, Oct. 6, 7:30 p.m. at River Woods Chapels. Interment took place Thursday, Oct. 7, 10 a.m. at All Saints cemetery. Visitation took place Wednesday, Oct. 6, 5 to 9 p.m. at River Woods Funeral Chapels. Born in Bensenville on May 29, 1954, Mrs. Gulbransen was raised in Bensenville and worked in the wholesale and retail sales industries. She married Jim Gulbransen and moved to Apple Valley, Minn. She also lived many of her adult years in Elmhurst before moving to Minnesota. Mrs. Gulbransen died Friday, Oct. 1 in St. Paul, Minn. Mrs. Gulbransen is preceded in death by her son David. Mrs. Gulbransen is survived by her husband, Jim; children, Mallorie, Heather, Allyson, Brent; grandson, Jackson; and 10 brothers and sisters.

STANLEY WOYTOWICZ
Glenview Resident

A funeral Mass for Stanley Woytowicz, 77, of Glenview, was celebrated Oct. 8, at All Saints Cathedral Parish. Interment in All Saints Polish National Catholic cemetery. Visitation took place Oct. 7, at Colonial-Wojcie-chowski Funeral Home. Born Jan. 1, 1927, in Lublin, Wisc., Mr. Woytowicz worked as a construction laborer. He passed away Oct. 5, at Glenview Terrace Nursing Home. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie (nee Milas) Woytowicz; his children, Stanley W. and Karen (Keith) Lewandowski; his grandchildren, Michael, Kristen, Ryan and Rachel; his siblings, Walter (Marge), Bernice (George) Budrus, Lottie Nowicki and Ted (Mary); along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Mr. Woytowicz is preceded in death by his siblings, John, Genevieve Zajac, Edward and Milton. Memorial contributions may be made to All Saints Cathedral Parish or Faith in Action Campaign.

EDNA M. CUNNINGHAM

A funeral Mass for Edna M. Cunningham (nee Voisin), 103, of Des Plaines, was held Monday, Oct. 11 at Saint Mary Church. Interment was in All Saints cemetery in Des Plaines. Born on Aug. 18, 1901 in Teeswater, Ontario, Mrs. Cunningham passed away Friday, Oct. 8. She was a long-time resident of Des Plaines, where she had many friends and close neighbors. Mrs. Cunningham was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E.; and her daughter Helen I. Kirby. She is survived by her children, Thomas E. (Elvira) Cunningham, of Oshkosh, Wis.; Mary T. (Frank) Pesche, of Des Plaines; Margaret A. Hoeft, of Lake Havasu City, Az.; 23 grandchildren and her many great-grandchildren. Arrangements were made by Lauterburg and Oehler Funeral Home in Arlington Hts.

PIERCE GRANEY

Services were held for Pierce Graney, 82, of Niles Oct. 6 at St. Isaac Jogues Church. Interment in All Saints cemetery, Des Plaines. Graney, who was born March 23, 1922 died Oct. 2, 2004 in the Meadowbrook Nursing home, Bolingbrook. During WWII, he served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He was a printer at the Chicago Tribune. Survivors inlcude his wife, Mary Lou; children, Pierce Thomas Jr. (La Juanna), Janet, William Francis, James J., Daniel R., Peter K. (Jo Anna) Graney; grandchildren, William, Megan, Christine and Sean Ryan Graney; and brother, William (Agatha) Graney.

ALFRED R. PETERSEN
Longtime Rosemont Resident

Private visitation will be held for Alfred R. Petersen, 85, a Rosemont resident for the past 30 years. Born Sept. 1, 1919, in Chicago, Mr. Petersen was employed by Rand-McNally for over 25 years before retiring. He was also a member of the Morton Grove Moose Lodge. Mr. Petersen is survived by his wife, Antoinette (nee Arrigo); his children, Keith Petersen and step-children, Richard, Eileen Simpson and Carol Zahnen; his 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Arrangements were entrusted to River Woods Funeral Chapels.

JOHN M. GAGLIANO
53, Des Plaines

John M. Gagliano, 53, died Wednesday, Nov. 17 in his Des Plaines home. Services and interment are private. Gagliano was born June 26, 1951 in Chicago. He worked at Bekins Movers. He was a graduate of Maine West High School. Survivors include his wife Georgia (nee Hay); step children, Katie and Mike Liewehr; mother, Joan Gagliano; sisters, Jean (John) Kulnig and Rosemary (Gerard) Myra; nieces and nephews, John Michael and Stephanie Kulnig and Alison and Patrick Myra; brother- in-law Jim (Carol) Hay and sister- in-law Twila (Robert) Dahl.

MARY F. DONAHUE
Of Park Ridge

A funeral service for Mary F. Donahue, 88, of Park Ridge, took place Saturday, Nov. 20 at Mary Seat of Wisdom Church in Park Ridge. Interment took place at Maryhill cemetery in Niles. Visitation took place at Nelson Funeral Home in Park Ridge. Mrs. Donahue served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II, and worked as an attorney. Mrs. Donahue died Nov. 16. Mrs. Donahue is preceded in death by husband, Thomas W.; and brother, Charles J. (Eleanor) Fahrner. She is survived by her children, Ted, Maggie, Nora (Spencer) Smith; two grandchildren; and sister, Helen Fahrner.

VIRGINIA F. LUCZAK

A funeral service for Virginia F. Luczak, 84, of Niles, took place Saturday, Nov. 13, 10 a.m., at St. Lambert Church. Interment took place at St. Adalbert Mausoleum. Visitation took place Friday, Nov. 12, 3 to 9 p.m. at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home. Born in Chicago on Nov. 11, 1919, Mrs. Luczak died Wednesday, Nov. 10 at Lutheran General Hospital. Mrs. Luczak is preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Ellen Luczak. Mrs. Luczak is survived by her husband, Robert; and son, Andrew.

KRZYSZTOF ZALEWSKI
Of Niles

A funeral service for Krzysztof Zalewski, 52, of Niles, took place Saturday, Nov. 13, 9 a.m. at St. John Brebeuf Church. Interment took place at Maryhill cemetery. Visitation took place Thursday, Nov. 11 and Friday, Nov. 12 from 3 to 9 p.m. Born in Poland on Jan. 1, 1952, Mr. Zalewski worked as a brick layer. Mr. Zalewski died Tuesday, Nov. 9 at Lutheran General Hospital. Mr. Zalewski is survived by his wife, Barbara; parents, Jozef and Anna; daughter, Kathryn; son, Tomasz; sister, Halina (Jozef); and brother, Antoni.

VASCO FRANGIONI
Of Niles

A funeral service for Vasco Frangioni, 86, of Niles, took place Sept. 28 at St. John Brebeuf Church. Interment took place at All Saints cemetery. Visitation took place at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home. Born in Italy on July 7, 1918, Mr. Frangioni worked as a tailor. He died Sunday, Sept. 26, at Lutheran General Hospital. Mr. Frangioni is preceded in death by his daughter, Nila. Mr. Frangioni is survived by his wife, Pia; and son, Dano.
