Kathryn "Kathy" (Wright) Harris, 48, of Wheatland, Wis., died Saturday Jan. 31, 2004.
She was the dear wife of Dr. William Harris, D.V.M; beloved mother of son Ben Harris; loving daughter of James and Gloria (nee Quanrud) Wright; cherished sister of Tom (wife Diana) and Ken (wife Susan) Wright; daughter-in-law of Clifford Harris; and sister-in-law of Deb (husband Rich) Elk.
Visitation will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, at Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave., Kenosha, Wis.; and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, followed by a service, at Christ Lutheran Church, 24929 Seventh St., Paddock Lake, Wis.

Jennifer Lee Dierdorff
Jennifer Lee Dierdorff, 19, of Naperville died Friday, Feb. 6, 2004, in Washington, D.C. She was born July 1, 1984, in Redwood City, Calif.
She attended Madison Junior High School in Naperville, where she received the Robert Miller Science Award. Jennifer was a 2002 graduate of Naperville Central High School, where she was heavily involved in student government and was the managing editor for the school newspaper, Central Times. She served as the chairperson from 1999 to 2002 for the Mr. NCHS talent contest. She was also involved with FMP (Freshman Peer Mentoring Program) and SAC (Student Activities Council) at Naperville Central. She ran track and cross country for Central and lettered in cross country. She was a sophomore at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., on a presidential academic scholarship. She was working as an aide to Congresswoman Jennifer Dunn, Rep. 8th District, State of Washington. She was a member of the Alpha Phi Sorority and was serving as sorority treasurer. She was also the production manager for The George Washington University school newspaper, The Hatchet.
She is survived by her parents, Jack and Nancy (Crossfield) Dierdorff Jr. of Naperville; a brother, Daniel, of Naperville; her paternal grandparents, Jack and Wanda Dierdorff of Seattle; eight aunts; seven uncles; and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Richard and Florence Crossfield.
A funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1310 Shepherd Drive, Naperville.
Interment will be private.
Visitation will take place from 3 until 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, 416 S. Washington St., Naperville.
Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until time of service Saturday at the church.

Lucille C. Fogarty
Lucille C. (Koehl) Fogarty of Naperville died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2004, at Edward Hospital in Naperville.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph, of Naperville; a son, James M. (wife Allison) of Minneapolis; and a sister, Virginia Patek of Naperville.
She was preceded in death by a son, Patrick Fogarty.
Visitation will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, at SS Peter and Paul Church, 36 N. Ellsworth St., Naperville.
Interment will be at Queen of Heaven cemetery, Hillside.

Albert Franklin 'Frank' Stromberg
Albert Franklin "Frank" Stromberg, 90, a resident of Naperville since 1934, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2004, at Tabor Hills Health Care Facility in Naperville. He was born Sept. 5, 1913, in Chicago.
Mr. Stromberg moved to Naperville in 1934 to work with the Civilian Conservation Corps. He worked on the construction of Pioneer Park and McDowell Woods Park. He was a U.S. Army combat veteran, having served his country in World War II. He was in several battles in Italy, where he received the Purple Heart. Frank was a very proud and active member of Judd Kendall VFW Post 3873 in Naperville. He worked at both Naperville Central High School and Beebe Elementary School as building custodian from 1954 until 1980.
He is survived by a son, Douglas Stromberg of Cathedral City, Calif.; several cousins, including Carol Morgan of Naperville and Ron Morgan of Oak Lawn; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice (Albrecht); his parents, Albert F. and Evaline (Chapman) Stromberg Sr.; two brothers, Robert and William; and a sister, Lois Vankovsky.
Visitation will take place from 3 until 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, 516 S. Washington St., Naperville.
A funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 30, at the funeral home.
Interment will take place at Fairmount Willow Hills Memorial Park in Willow Springs.

Lois E. Voris
Lois E. Voris, 68, of Naperville died Thursday, Feb. 12, 2004, at Edward Hospital in Naperville. She was born Sept. 26, 1935, in Naperville.
She is survived by a sister, Virginia Orcutt; a stepson, Robert Voris; three grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Margaret Seppelfrick; her husband, Robert Voris, in 1993; a daughter, Linda Voris; a son, John Lee Voris; and a sister, Jane Kott.
A Mass of Christian burial will begin at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 16, at SS Peter and Paul Church, 36 N. Ellsworth St., Naperville.
Interment will take place at SS Peter and Paul cemetery.

Carol Marie Wilson
Carol Marie Wilson, 62, of Naperville died Saturday, Jan. 31, 2004, at her home. She was born April 5, 1941, in Chicago.
She was a resident of Naperville since 1998. She was a member of Cress Creek Country Club and of St. Thomas the Apostle Church.
She is survived by her husband, George W. Wilson of Naperville; two sons, Thomas (wife Sherryl) of Berlin, Wis., and Timothy (wife Sandy) of South Elgin; a sister, Kay (husband Joe) Bartolone of Des Plaines; and six grandchildren, Valerie, Bryce, Veronica, Hunter, Lauren and Kalynn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edmond and Gertrude Brennan.
Visitation will take place from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2, at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville.
A funeral service will begin at noon Monday, Feb. 2, at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 1500 Brookdale Road, Naperville.

Jon M. Cruse
Jon M. Cruse, age 40, devoted husband, father, uncle, brother and friend to so many people, passed away Sunday, Feb. 8, 2004, in Naperville, after a heroic struggle with lymphoma. He was born to Robert and Dee Evans Cruse in Oak Lawn on April 29, 1963. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Rita's Catholic Church.
He graduated from Western Illinois University in 1984 and married
Kelly O'Hagan Sept. 10, 1989. He was the proud father of Kaitlin Danielle, age 9, and Kelsey Nicole, age 7, and was known as a man who loved his family deeply and who always hosted the best parties. He was a man with a wonderful sense of humor, and he charmed everyone he knew. He worked for many years in the beverage industry, most recently as director of sales at Pabst Brewing.
Visitation will take place from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, 24021 W. Royal Worlington Drive (Route 59) Naperville.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 111th Street and Book Road, Naperville.

Ernest W. 'Ernie' Adams
Ernest W. "Ernie" Adams, 90, a resident of Naperville for the past 48 years, died Thursday, Feb. 12, 2004, at his home. He was born March 30, 1913, in Birmingham, England.
He served the U.S. Army in World War II. He was a choir member at Wesley United Methodist Church and a member of Naperville Country Club for more than 45 years.
He is survived by his wife, Alice; two daughters, Ellen (husband Thomas) Hoeltgen of Elmhurst and Margaret (husband Kenneth) Strubler of Towson, Md.; five grandchildren, Daniel (wife Jan), Jennifer (husband Sean), Erin (husband Peter), Elizabeth (husband J.D.) and Kevin; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Leah Adams, and a brother, William Adams.
Funeral services will take place at 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, at Wesley United Methodist Church, 21 E. Franklin St., Naperville. The Rev. Jason Reed will officiate.
Interment will take place at Chapel Hill Gardens cemetery in Oakbrook Terrace.

Alex Goldberg
Alex Goldberg, 82, formerly a resident of Skokie but most recently living in Naperville, the father of Lee Goldberg and husband of the late Pearl Goldberg, died Sunday morning, Feb. 8, 2004.
He was an honest, loyal, hard-working and courageous man.
In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated, and there will be no services.
Persons who wish to commemorate him are asked to make a charitable contribution in his name.

John E. Jones
John E. Jones, 72, a resident of Naperville since 1992 and formerly of Florida, died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2004, at his home in Naperville. He was born July 25, 1931, in Cresco, Iowa.
Mr. Jones grew up in Cresco and served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He worked in aviation sales in Florida for many years and was a certified pilot with both private and commercial licenses. He was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church and Judd Kendall Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3873, both in Naperville.
He is survived by six children, Jackie (husband Steve) Collins of North Richland Hills, Texas, Patti Jones of Stuart, Fla., Nancy (husband Scott) Sommer of Lake Worth, Fla., Tim Jones of Coral Springs, Fla., Kathleen (husband Marty) Masta of Wellington, Fla., and Colleen (husband Richard) Foote of Lighthouse Point, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Tommy and Katie Sommer, Logan, Mallory and Claire Masta, and Casey and Lindsey Foote; three siblings, Jim (wife Beverly) Jones of Lake Carol, Pauline Murray of Minneapolis and C.W. Jones of Cresco; his former spouse, Kate Jones of Margate, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Paul and Loretta Kathryn Jones.
Visitation will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville.
A service will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, at the funeral home and proceed to a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian burial at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 36 N. Ellsworth St., Naperville.
Interment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National cemetery in Elwood.
Bernard Wilschke
Bernard Wilschke, 87, of Naperville died Sunday, Feb. 8, 2004, at Meadowbrook Manor of Naperville. He was born Aug. 30, 1916, in Chicago.
He was the vice president of a merchandising firm.
He is survived by a daughter, Lynn Wilschke; and three grandchildren, Kimberly, Bernard and Bryan.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marion (Condon); and five siblings, Emil, Theresa Lawler, Margaret, Clarence, and Dorothy Engstrom.
Visitation, a service and interment were all private.
