Isabel M. "Belle" (Fahrlander) Price
Isabel M. "Belle" (Fahrlander) Price, 79, a Naperville resident since 1955 and a former resident of Hinckley and Downers Grove, died Friday, June 18, 2004, at Edward Hospital in Naperville. She was born Sept. 11, 1924, in Rollo.
She was a graduate of Hinckley High School and the St. Charles Hospital School of Nursing in Aurora. She was a registered nurse at Edward Hospital in Naperville for 15 years in the obstetrics department, retiring in 1987. She was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Naperville and the Catholic Daughters. She enjoyed arts and crafts, knitting and crocheting. She was an accomplished pinochle player.
She is survived by four daughters, Melissa Price of Tucson, Ariz., Jamie (husband Terry) McSherry of Naperville, Jennifer (husband Dan) Filicicchia of Londonderry, N.H., and Julie (husband Chris) Hymers of Yorkville; seven grandchildren, Jake, Elizabeth and Molly McSherry, Nathan and Lindsay Filicicchia, and Shea and Brenna Hymers; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard "Jack" Price Jr., in May 2000; her parents, Alphonse and Marie Fahrlander; and six siblings.
Visitation will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 21, at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville.
Services will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 22, at the funeral home and proceed to a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at SS Peter and Paul Church, 36. N. Ellsworth St., Naperville, with the Rev. Jerome Kish officiating.
Interment will take place at SS Peter and Paul cemetery in Naperville.

Karen L. Brejcha
Karen L. (Kalning) Brejcha, 60, of Naperville died Monday, July 5, 2004, at her home.
She was the beloved wife of John; loving mother of John, Karl and Stephen; and fond sister-in-law of Bernadette (husband Richard) Zielie.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Marjorie Kalning.
Visitation will take place from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, 24021 W. Royal Worlington Drive, Naperville.
A funeral service will begin with prayers at 9 a.m. Thursday, July 8, at the funeral home and proceed to St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 2220 Lisson Road, Naperville, for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian burial.
Interment will follow at Naperville cemetery.
Joyce Jelinek
Joyce (nee Steck) Jelinek, 63, a resident of Naperville for 38 years, died Friday, July 16, 2004, at her home. She was born Sept. 27, 1910, in Canton, Ill.
She was a graduate of Illinois State University with a bachelor's degree in music education in 1962 and a master's degree in elementary education from Northern Illinois University in 1966. She taught elementary education in Woodridge from 1966 to 1972, and gave private clarinet and saxophone music lessons to students at Naperville North and Naperville Central high schools, and in her home. She was an active member of Community UMC, and a member of the Fox Valley Concert Band, member AAUW.
She is survived by two sons, Jason (wife Laura) and Justin, both of Naperville; two sisters, Joan (husband Robert) Hoburg of New Milford, Conn., and Janet Kennedy of Niles, Mich.; a mother-in-law, Mary Jelinek of Naperville; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Owen of Naperville; and three nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, on April 17, 2000, whom she married
July 17, 1965; and her parents, Carl and Mary (Morris) Steck.
Visitation will take place from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 20, at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, 516 S. Washington St., Naperville.
A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 21, at Community United Methodist Church, 20 N. Center St., Naperville.
Interment will take place at Naperville cemetery.

Pierre A. Peebles Sr.
Pierre A. Peebles Sr., 69, a resident of Naperville since 1972 and formerly of Oak Park, died Saturday, July 17, 2004, at his home. He was born June 28, 1935, in Chicago.
He attended Ascension Grammar School and Fenwick High School. He went on to attend University of Illinois and Lewis University. He was an executive in the steel industry for 40 years and an avid pilot. He was a founding member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Naperville and a member of Cress Creek Country Club for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Rosemary; a son, Pierre Jr. of Fort Meyers Beach, Fla.; three daughters, Michele (husband Brian) Riordan of Geneva, Amy (husband John) Hill of Naperville and Jill (husband John) Byrne of Chicago; six grandchildren, Colleen, Patrick, Connor, Jack, Claire and Brenna; a sister, Georgia (husband Walter) Nitchoff of Arizona; two brothers, George (wife Sheila) Peebles of Western Springs and Dwight (wife Marlene) Peebles of Addison; an aunt, Natalie Peebles; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Isabelle; and an infant daughter, Mary.
Visitation will take place from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday, July 19, at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville.
A Mass of Christian burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 20, at St. Thomas the Apostle, 1500 Brookdale Road, Naperville.
Interment is private.

Kelly Lynn Brentzel
Kelly Lynn Brentzel, 24, of Midlothian, Va., and formerly of Naperville, died Monday, July 5, 2004, as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Carroll County, Va.
She was a 1998 graduate of Naperville Central High School and a 2003 graduate of James Madison University. She was a member of Alpha Sigma Tau, an assistant girls basketball coach for the New Community High School in Richmond, Va., during the 2003 season, and was currently serving as a Vista Volunteer for Americorp in Carroll County.
She is survived by her parents, Craig and Mona Brentzel of Midlothian; a brother, Matthew Brentzel; a sister, Heather Brentzel; and her maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Evelyn Park of Pennsylvania.
A visitation took place Thursday, July 8, in the Bennett and Barden Funeral Home in Powhatan, Va.
A funeral service was held Saturday, July 10, in Cassville, Pa.
Patricia J. Hickey
Patricia J. (Terrell) Hickey, 83, a resident of Scottsdale, Ariz., formerly of Naperville, passed away at her home in Scottsdale on Tuesday, June 29, 2004. She was born in Chicago on June 13, 1921, to the late Walter and Mabel Terrell.
She enjoyed life to the fullest with her family and friends, horseback riding, travel and golf. She was loved by many because of her kindness to others. Her optimism and spirit never failed her during her health challenges.
She was the loving mother of Roger (wife Donna) Hickey, Robert (wife Paula) Hickey, Rick (wife Claire) Hickey, Jill (husband Dan) Zak and Jayne Hickey; proud grandmother of seven; and sister of Elaine Wood.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, whom she married
in 1942.

Dorothy M. Jones
Dorothy M. Jones, 86, of Naperville died Wednesday, July 7, 2004, at Tabor Hills Healthcare Center in Naperville. She was born Feb. 6, 1918, in Chicago and had been a resident of Naperville since 2001, moving from Mount Prospect. She had also been a resident of Park Ridge and Des Plaines.
She worked at Thompson Bakery in Park Ridge from 1950 to 1960 and then managed the Fannie May candy store in Park Ridge until her retirement. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Naperville.
She is survived by two sons, Roderick (wife Louise) Jones of Naperville and Robert (wife Janet) Jones of Las Vegas; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Percy Jones and Frank Rogers; a son, Jerome Golyzniak; two great-grandchildren, Jacqueline and Austin; her parents, Thomas and Mary Ciske; and a brother, Edward Ciske.

Jean 'Janina' Candela
Jean "Janina" (Hormanska) Candela, 89, of Lisle and formerly of Chicago, entered eternal life Monday, July 5, 2004, at Snow Valley Nursing Home in Lisle. She had been a resident of Sacred Heart Queen of Peace Center in Lisle for seven years.
She enjoyed flowers, gardening and giving of herself to others. Her family was always first in her heart.
She was the loving mother of Shirley (husband Jim) Schulz of Naperville, Salvatore (wife Mitzi) of Marseilles and Joseph (wife Dawn) Candela of Woodridge; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and many fond nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph; and three siblings, Tony, Ted and Helen.
Visitation will take place from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, July 10, at Our Lady of the Snows Church, 4810 S. Leamington Ave., Chicago, with a Mass of Christian burial to follow at 10 a.m.
Interment will follow at St. Mary cemetery in Evergreen Park.

John T. Quealy
John T. Quealy, 76, of Naperville died Monday, July 5, 2004, at his home. He was born June 7, 1928, in Chicago.
He served in the U.S. Army. He was an active member of SS Peter and Paul Church and was retired from Illinois Bell after 35 years of service.
He is survived by six children, Patricia Uidl of Naperville, Carol Quealy of Wheaton, Barbara (husband Glenn) Pederson of St. Charles, Gail (husband Roger) Griffith of Ingleside, John (wife Rosemarie) Quealy of Bristol, Conn., and Paul (wife Tina) Quealy of Wheaton; six grandchildren, Mark and Paul Uidl of Naperville, Cody, Alyssa and Danielle Quealy of Wheaton, and Eric Pederson of St. Charles; a brother, James (wife Bette) Quealy of Berwyn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia; his parents, Patrick and Nora; and a sister, Mary Dolan.
