Sean A. Brown
Sean A. Brown, 34, of Overland Park, Kan., died Saturday, Dec. 18, 2004, at his home. He was born in Elmhurst.
Sean is remembered as a kind, caring young man who loved his family.
Sean is survived by his father, Richard A. Brown of Overland Park; his mother, Roxine M. Lukens and younger brother, Matthew R. Brown, both of Carlsbad, Calif.; and sisters Robin A. La Vere of Downers Grove and Kelly Jain of Portland, Ore.
He was a devoted uncle to Lauren and Curtis Cesal, Katie LaVere and Lucie Jain. His many cousins, nephews, nieces and friends will remember him fondly.
He was preceded in death by his Uncle Bruce and both sets of grandparents.
A funeral service will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, at Mount Moriah and Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Mo.
Burial will be in Stroud, Okla., at the family farm Sean loved. He will be deeply missed.
Roosevelt 'Rosie' Jones III
Roosevelt "Rosie" Jones III, 17, of Naperville, a senior at Neuqua Valley High School, died suddenly Sunday, Oct. 3, 2004, at Neuqua Valley. He was born Jan. 14, 1987, in Hammond, Ind.
He was a star basketball player on the varsity team for NVHS. He also played basketball for Yorkville High School and Indian Trail Middle School in Plainfield.
He was active in Calvary Baptist Church Teen Ministry and in other local church functions. His ultimate goal in life was to reach out to other youths and adults nationwide, and to bring them to Christ. His goal after high school was to become an evangelist and get involved in a youth ministry. He had a deep love for the Lord.
He is survived by his mother, Joyce Reeves; his twin sister, Latrisha Jones; grandmother, Mary Washington; two great-aunts, Margaret and Wee Wee (Coleman); aunts, Barbara Willis, Denise, Jackie, Terry, Joanne and Berna; uncles, Marshall, Armour and Arthur; and other cousins and in-laws.
He was preceded in death by his grandma, Jean Reeves.
A service will begin promptly at 6 p.m. (until 8 p.m.) Thursday, Oct. 7, at Calvary Church, 9S200 Route 59, Naperville. The Rev. Dezo McGill will officiate. Refreshments will follow the service.

Jean A. (Armstrong) Roberts, 85, a 52-year resident of Naperville, died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2004, at her home. She was born Aug. 17, 1919, in St. Louis, Mo.
Mrs. Roberts is survived by her children, Lynn (husband Kenneth) Clugston of Rolla, Mo., Troy Carl (wife Diane) Roberts III of Silverlake, Wis., Robin (husband Steven) Taft of Rochester, Michele (husband Gary) Pranger of Broken Arrow, Okla., Jeanie (husband Glen) Schue of Downers Grove, Kevin (wife Marianne) Roberts of Aurora, Candy (partner Mary Salter, M.D.) Roberts of Guthrie, Minn., and Tracy (wife Darshia) Roberts of Cheyenne, Wyo.; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and her brother, C. Wempner (wife Sara) Armstrong of Atlanta, Ga.
She was preceded in death by her husband, T. Carl Roberts in 1979; and her parents, Robert H. and Lloyd (Wempner) Armstrong.

Bert 'R' Covert Jr.
Bert "R" Covert Jr., USMC (Ret.), 80, of Jacksonville, Fla., formerly of Lakeside, Mich., died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2004, in Jacksonville.
Bert moved to Jacksonville 38 years ago after a distinguished career serving his country for 25 years in the U.S. Marine Corps. The citations he earned as both an enlisted man and an officer are too numerous to mention, but include one Silver Star, two Distinguished Flying Crosses, Pacific Campaign Medals for Guadalcanal, Tarawa and Saipan, and 13 Air Medals as an air observer in the Chosin Reservoir in Korea.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Loretta Sittig Covert; a daughter, Sharon; four sons, Bert III, Jimmie, Robert (wife Mary Roy) of Naperville and Kevin (wife Keven); 10 grandchildren; and two brothers, Kendall and Willard.
A Mass of Christian burial took place Monday, Sept. 13, at Resurrection Catholic Church of Jacksonville. Msgr. Vincent Haut officiated with co-celebrants Msgr. Eugene Kohn and the Rev. Dan Shashy.
Interment will be at a later date at St. Joseph cemetery in Jacksonville.
An overnight vigil service was held Sunday, Sept. 12, at Resurrection Church.

Raymond R. 'Ray' Rondinelli
Raymond R. "Ray" Rondinelli, 77, a resident of Naperville since 1992 and formerly of Chicago, died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2004, at Tabor Hills Healthcare Center in Naperville. He was born Dec. 4, 1926, in Chicago.
Mr. Rondinelli was a graduate of Lane Technical High School in Chicago. He served as a pilot in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War, and began a lifelong love of military aviation. He held a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, and master's degree and doctorate, all from Northwestern University in Evanston. He was employed for many years in the chemical industry doing research, and he worked in medical laboratories. He was a member of the Mariner Squadron Color Guard, Association of Naval Aviators and the American Legion Aviation Post in the Cicero-Berwyn area.
He is survived by his wife, Kay S. (Allard) Rondinelli of Naperville, whom he married
April 4, 1982; a son, Richard (wife Annette) Rondinelli of Downers Grove; two grandsons, James and Joseph Rondinelli of Downers Grove; a sister, Dolores M. Rondinelli of Naperville; a brother-in-law, Ken (wife Sharon) Allard of Downers Grove; a niece, Bridget Allard; and a nephew, Stuart Allard.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Blanche; and his parents, Frank and Eugenia Rondinelli.
Visitation will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8, at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville.
A service will follow at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. William Pierros will officiate.

Eric Benjamin Weikum
Eric Benjamin Weikum, 24, of White Eagle subdivision in Aurora, died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2004, at home, with his family by his side after a battle with cancer. He was born April 30, 1980, in Joliet.
He graduated from Joliet Catholic Academy High School, class of 1998. He attended Purdue University and graduated in 2003. He has been a lifelong hunter, fisherman and trapshooter. He had been a life member of the Amateur Trapshooting Association, Illinois Trap Shooters Association, the NRA, Ducks Unlimited and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
He had been honored by the Amateur Trapshooting Association as a two-time Sub-Junior All-American, three-time Junior-All American, captain of the junior team in 1997, and men's team All-American selection. He also had been honored by the Illinois Trapshooters Association as a seven-time All-State team member. He had won more than 350 championships during his ATA shooting career: Illinois State Sub. Junior, Junior Singles, Doubles, Handicap and 389x400 in 1997; and HAA 2003 with 393x400, and many other championships as well. He was a member of the 1998 Junior Olympic Development Team in Colorado Springs, Colo. He had won two gold, one bronze and one silver medal during Junior Olympic competition. He was the first Illinois State Sporting Clay Sub. Junior Champion in 1994. His love of the great outdoors was always a priority to him and his friends, that they all enjoyed it to the fullest.
After graduation, he started Castle Rock Custom Homes and planned to build custom residential homes.
He is survived by his parents, George and Collette (Amiot) Weikum of Aurora; a sister, Ondrea, a senior at Purdue University; and his grandmother, Della (Collette) Amiot of Joliet.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lloyd and Barbara (Hensel) Weikum of Wilmington, and Leon Amiot.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 4, at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, near Ingalls Avenue, Joliet.
Visitation and video tribute will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 2 and 3.
Inurnment will be at St. Joseph's cemetery in Joliet.

Evelyn B. Radosta
Evelyn B. (Soellner) Radosta, 85, a resident of Naperville for 13 years, formerly of Lyons and Clarendon Hills, died Monday, Oct. 4, 2004, at Alden Healthcare Center in Naperville. She was born June 27, 1919, in Berwyn.
She was a graduate of Morton East High School in Cicero. She was employed for many years at Riverside National Bank in Riverside.
She is survived by two daughters, Laura R. Radosta of Naperville and Lelith (husband Josip) Poljak of Seymour, Tenn.; a sister, Donna (husband William) Maves of Pinehurst, N.C.; a niece, Barbara; and two nephews, Alfred and Charles.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Radosta; and her parents, John and Margaret Soellner.
Visitation will take place from 2 until 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8, at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, in the funeral home with Josip Poljak officiating.

Ronald O. Fuja
Ronald O. Fuja, 60, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with a rare disease, Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2004, surrounded by his family at his home in Naperville. He was born April 28, 1944, in Chicago.
He was a parishioner of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, as well as serving as a Eucharistic minister. He was a very active volunteer of Public Action to Deliver Shelter (PADS). He served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Patricia (Baeder); his loving daughters, Gwendolyn (husband Daniel) Jordan, Jennifer Fuja and Karen (husband Heath) McDonald; his wonderful grandchildren, Payton and Reagan Jordan; his dear sister, Roberta (husband Robert) Arenz-Kaminski; and many nieces and nephews and grand-nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emil Fuja and Jeanette Marquardt.
Visitation will take place from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26, at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville.
A funeral service will begin with prayers at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 27, at the funeral home and proceed to an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian burial at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 36 N. Ellsworth St., Naperville.
