Betty Caruso
Betty J. Caruso, nee Hones, 69, of Lombard, died Monday, Nov. 25, 2002 at home.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 30, at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Lombard. Interment was at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
Mrs. Caruso was the wife of Donald E.; mother of Debra (James) Litza, Cindy (George) Caruso-Fuhrman, Donald Jr. (Jennifer), Joseph (Deborah), James F. (Judy), John K., Helen M., and Catherine M.; grandmother of 12; sister of Orton P. Jones Jr., John K. Jones and Susan Samargia; and aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Caruso had worked as a secretary for an industrial company.
Memorials to the Christian Children's Fund or the American Diabetes Association would be appreciated.

Adrian Harbaugh
Adrian "C.J." L. Harbaugh, 60, of Villa Park, died Sunday, Dec. 1, 2002 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.
Funeral services will be held today, Dec. 4, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard. Interment is at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
Mr. Harbaugh was the husband of Judy, son of Beulah of Villa Park, father of Monique, stepfather of Michael Nicoletti and Cindy (Michael) Mariotti, grandfather of four, brother-in-law of Jolene and Dennis Kennedy, and uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Herman.
Mr. Harbaugh was a resident of Brandywine in Villa Park since 1977. He was employed as a technical service technician for Smurfit-Stone Container Corp. in Carol Stream for 40 years. He was a former member of the St. Charles Jaycees.
Charlotte Kegerris
Charlotte A. Kegerris, 72, of Lombard, died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2002 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, Dec. 8, at Faith Lutheran Church in Geneva.
Mrs. Kegerris was the mother of Karen C. (David) Culver and Jeffrey C. (Pam), and grandmother of four. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Ronald D.
Mrs. Kegerris had lived in Lombard for 47 years. She had worked as a real estate broker and salesperson for many years, including Maple, Roath and Reedy real estate offices.
After retiring, Mrs. Kegerris remained involved in the Lombard Chamber of Commerce, serving in various leadership positions, most recently as a member of the Community Promotion and Tourism Committee. She was also active at her residence as a member of the Collin Court Condominium Association, holding the office of vice president. She was known to her many friends as a generous, warm-hearted benefactor to persons in need.
Memorials to Faith Lutheran Church would be appreciated.

Donna Nolan
Donna J. Nolan, nee Holtz, 55, of Lombard, died Friday, Nov. 29, 2002 at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2002 at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard, with the Rev. Arno Dennerlein officiating. Interment was at Assumption Cemetery in Winfield.
Mrs. Nolan was the wife of Paul, mother of Melissa of Lombard, sister of Carl (Karla) Holtz, and aunt of three.
Mrs. Nolan had been a resident of Lombard for 23 years. She worked for Safeco Insurance in Hoffman Estates and had worked for American States Insurance in Carol Stream.
Memorials to the American Cancer Society, 999 N. Main St., Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 would be appreciated.
William Scheelk Sr.
William L. Scheelk Sr., 90, of Lombard, died Monday, Dec. 2, 2002 at home.
Funeral services and intermenty are private.
Mr. Scheelk was the father of Kathleen Pokryke, William L. Jr. (Patricia), Michael "Micky" (Linda) and Richard R. Sr. (Kathy); grandfather of 15; great-grandfather of 19; and brother of Helen Scheelk. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen; and son-in-law, Eugene Pokryke.
Mr. Scheelk was retired after working as a plate maker for a printing company.

Ronald Van Tholen
Ronald Van Tholen, 56, of Lombard, died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2002 at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital in Elmhurst.
Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 2, at Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Main St., Lombard, with the Rev. Nathan Elgersma of Lombard Christian Reformed Church officiating. Interment was at Elm Lawn Cemetery in Elmhurst.
Mr. Van Tholen was the husband of Christine; father of Rhonda (Scott) Heabel, Stacey (Sean) Craft, Christopher (Leslie), Nicholas and Stephanie; grandfather of three; son of Margaret; son-in-law of Clara Prueske; brother of Peter (Winifred), Henry Jr. (Nancy), Robert (JoAnn), Kenneth (Linda), Grace (Robert) Dryden, Thomas (fiancee Val), Marge (James) Verlare, William, James (Beth) and George (Mary); brother-in-law of Alice; and uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry; father-in-law, Elmer Prueske; and brother, John.
Mr. Van Tholen had worked as a driver for Waste Management N.W., and was a member of Teamster's Local #731.
William Volk
William Volk, 88, of Elmhurst, died Thursday, Nov. 28, 2002 at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital in Elmhurst.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 3, at St. Alexander Catholic Church in Villa Park. Interment was at Mt. Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst.
Mr. Volk was the husband of Rita, father of Rosemary "Lindsay" (David) Gustin, grandfather of two, and brother of Edwin (Anita).
Mr. Volk was retired after working as a carpenter.

TIMOTHY MORIN
Timothy Michael Morin, 20, former resident of Villa Park, passed away March 19th, 2008, while driving his motorcycle on his way to work. Visitation was held at Davis Funeral Home 6200 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, Nev., on March 25th, 2008.
Mr. Morin is survived by his loving parents Steve and Sherrie (Sherrie had former employment of 14 years at the Rainbow Restaurant in Elmhurst); loving siblings, Travis (14) and Tiana (6); loving grandparents, Bob and Dorthy Egeland, currently of Villa Park; loving aunts uncles and cousins, currently in the Villa Park-Lombard area, Cinda Worley, John Worley, George Egeland, Tammie Egeland, Michel (Juan) Vazquez and children, Jason Worley, Danyel Cerreno and Nikki Egeland; and many other loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his cousin, Heather Dickhaut Hayes.
Mr. Morin attended North Elementary School 1992 to 1997 and Jefferson Middle School 1998-1999. He was a very outgoing and amazing young man throughout his life and accomplished so much; he touched the hearts of many people and of his whole family. He was in football in high school, he did entertainment/acting on roller blades every week, he was part of the Hip Hop Las Vegas Heat (roller blade team) in Las Vegas and also on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, and met Mel Gibson. His current employment was Planet Hyundai of Las Vegas, where he was a top salesman.
Mr. Morin was a very loving son, grandson, nephew, cousin and true friend to all, (he will truly be missed by all).
