James Wall
James F. Wall, 82, of Beacon Hill in Lombard, formerly of the Chicago area and LaGrange, died Saturday, Sept. 13, 2003 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Oct. 4, in DuPahze Hall at Beacon Hill Retirement Community in Lombard. Interment was private.
Mr. Wall was the husband of Ann, brother of Lillian, brother-in-law of Doris Wall and Marjorie (Richard) Dell, uncle of four, and great-uncle of four. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Anna; and brother, Stanley.
Mr. Wall was born in Dawson County, Mont., and graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with an engineering degree. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Aleutian Islands. He worked as a management consultant for the greater part of his working life; and in 1972, co-founded American Limousine Co., which expanded from two vehicles to 52 when it was sold in 1986.
Mr. Wall had served as president of the North American Livery Owners Association for several years, and was active in the First United Presbyterian Church of LaGrange for 26 years, and since 1994 was affiliated with the Union Church of Hinsdale. He had lived at Beacon Hill since 1999.

Walter Bjerregaard
Walter R. Bjerregaard, 80, of Villa Park, died Sunday, March 28, 2004 at home.
Visitation and funeral services will be today, March 31, at Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore Ave., Villa Park. Interment is private.
Mr. Bjerregaard was the husband of Jean; father of Wesley (Jane), Wayne (Julia) and Ann (Brad) Stuehm; and grandfather of six.
Mr. Bjerregaard was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during World War II. He was a 38-year resident of Villa Park, and was retired after working for Fiat-Allis.
Memorials to Elmhurst Memorial Hospice, 855 N. Church Ct., Elmhurst, IL 60126, would be appreciated.
Juanita Herres
Juanita M. Herres, nee Bachmann, 64, of Elmwood Park, died Wednesday, March 24, 2004 at home.
Funeral services and intermenty were private.
Mrs. Herres was the mother of Denise Herres and Deborah (Robert) Elde, grandmother of two, sister of Joann Berry and Raymond (Geraldine) Bachmann of Villa Park, and aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arvin; sister, Nanette; and brother-in-law, Tony Berry.
Mrs. Herres was retired after working as a proof operator in banking.
Memorials to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.

John Minser Jr.
John B. "Jack" Minser Jr., of Lombard, died Wednesday, March 24, 2004 at home.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 29, at St. Pius X Church in Lombard. Interment was at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
Mr. Minser was the husband of Nancy; father of Holly (Ronald) Pecora, Dawn (Steven) Smith and Jennifer (Steven) Kownacki; grandfather of seven; son of Jane Minser; brother of Richard (Donna) and Thomas (Mary Anne) Minser; and uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, John B. Minser Sr.
Mr. Minser was a 40-year resident of Lombard, and retired in 2001 after 36 years working as a plumber with Local #130.
Memorials to the American Cancer Society, 999 N. Main St., Glen Ellyn, IL 60137, would be appreciated.

Trilby Prosek
Trilby E. Prosek, nee Schenck, 64, of Villa Park, died Monday, March 29, 2004 at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital in Elmurst.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 1, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 2, with prayers from the funeral home to Mass at St. Pius X Church in Lombard. Interment is at Assumption Cemetery in Winfield.
Mrs. Prosek was the mother of Elizabeth Prosek, Nancy (Brian) Peterson of Villa Park, Karen Thornton, Richard (Janice) and Douglas; and grandmother of 12. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald H.; and son, Donald F.
Mrs. Prosek was a 1957 graduate of Immaculate Conception High School in Elmhurst and a 1961 graduate of Rosary College. She taught grade school for a short time and had been the co-owner of D & R Doors & Frames.
Virginia Stalmach
Virginia Stalmach, 81, died Tuesday, March 23, 2004 at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 27, with prayers from Adams-Winterfield & Sullivan Funeral Home, 4343 Main St., Downers Grove, to Mass at St. Mary of Gostyn Church. Interment was at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice.
Mrs. Stalmach wa the mother of Barbara (John) Hocking, Thomas and Mary Ann (Dr. James) Bigelow; grandmother of five; aunt of three; and sister-in-law of Loraine (Joseph) Sirovatka and Eugene (Aurelia). She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester A.
Memorials to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
Henry Szypulski
Henry M. Szypulski, 82, of Glen Ellyn, formerly of Lombard, died Sunday, March 28, 2004 at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield.
Visitation will be today, March 31, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 1, with prayers from the funeral home to Mass at Christ the King Catholic Church. Interment is at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
Mr. Szypulski was the husband of Mary E., father of Jeanine (Bruce) Wise and Gregory (Joen), grandfather of four, brother of Helen (Chester) Adeszko, and uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Chester Szypulski; and his sister-in-law, Wanda Szypulski.
Mr. Szypulski was a resident of Lombard since 1967, and has resided in Glen Ellyn for the past year-and-a-half. He had worked as a mechanical engineer and had retired in 1984 from the Purex Corp. in Batavia. He had also worked for the Zenith Corp. and Western Railroad Supply Co. in Chicago. He was a 4th Degree member of Christ the King Knights of Columbus Council #11027, and had volunteered at Christ the King Church and at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield.
