Cary Wolf
Cary N. "Gary" Wolf, 50, of Glendale Heights, died Tuesday, March 23, 2004 at GlenOaks Hospital in Glendale Heights.
Funeral services were held Friday, March 26, at Brust Villa Park Funeral Home, 305 S. Princeton, Villa Park, with Dr. Roger Pittelko of Trinity Lutheran Church in Villa Park officiating. Interment was at Arlington Cemetery in Elmhurst.
Mr. Wolf was the father of Steven (Stephanie) of Lombard, Brian, Julie and Lindsay; grandfather of three; stepson of Donald Kostate; and brother-in-law of Barb Wolf. He was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene; and brother, Hugh.
Mr. Wolf was a resident of Glendale Heights for 25 years.
Helen Albertson
Helen W. Albertson, nee Wolfe, 83, of Villa Park, died Wednesday, July 7, 2004 in Villa Park.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 18, at Faith United Methodist Church in Elmhurst, with a reception immediately following. Interment is private.
Mrs. Albertson was the wife of Clarence E., mother of Pamela Cass and Charles Allan, grandmother of three, and sister of Ruth (Forest) Holland and Eugene (Muriel) Wolfe. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Jill; and brother, Evan Wolf.
Mrs. Albertson was an active resident of Villa Park for 53 years. For many years she was a Girl Scout leader and a polling judge in the community, was a past Villa Park library trustee, and was very active in Church Women United. She loved nature, canoeing and hiking.

Kenneth Booth
Kenneth D. Booth, 89, of Berkeley, formerly of Streator and Sun City, died Wednesday, July 7, 2004 at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital in Elmhurst.
A graveside service was held Monday, July 12, at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
Mr. Booth was the husband of Ruth A., and stepfather of Terry (Chloe) Berg and Gail (the late Phillip) Heinking.
Mr. Booth was the owner of a barber shop.
Arrangements were made by Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore Ave., Villa Park.
Connie Carson
Connie J. Carson, 41, died Wednesday, July 7, 2004 at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield.
A memorial service was held Saturday, July 10, at Faith United Methodist Church in Lombard, Interment was private.
Mrs. Carson was the mother of Baaron W. Knox; daughter of Howard (Milly) Carson and Albertine Carson; sister of Deborah (Joseph) Kearns, Denise Curtis, Inez M. (Floyd) Walker, Howard (Ann S.) Carson, Kenneth D. Carson, Candace Fisher, LaShunda Hall and Victor A. Carson; niece of Gerry (Doug) Skelton, Leola Young and Inez Shaw; and aunt and friend of many. She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Danny L. Curtis; and uncle, John Young.
Ms. Carson grew up in Wheaton.

Hazel Dark
Hazel M. Dark, 84, of Addison, died Sunday, July 4, 2004 at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital in Elmhurst.
Funeral services were held Sunday, July 11, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Villa Park. Interment was at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Danville, Pa.
Mrs. Dark was the sister of Ethel Mae Lindemuth, Evelyn Rittenhouse and Edgar L. Morgan; and aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, W. E. Lester; and sister, Joyce M. Rice.
Mrs. Dark was retired after working as a registered nurse.

Gregory DeFalco
Gregory Vincent DeFalco, 57, of Berlin, Wis., formerly of La Grange, died Sunday, July 4, 2004 at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Milwaukee.
Funeral services were held Friday, July 9, at St. Cletus Church in La Grange. Entombment was at Queen of Heaven Mausoleum in Hillside.
Mr. DeFalco was the son of Aurelia Ann (the late Joseph) DeFalco; father of Christopher and Teresa; brother of Ronald (Geri) of Lombard, Joseph (Trish), Robert, Diane Garrison, and Carol (Greg) Wright; and uncle of 13 nieces and nephews.
Mr. DeFalco served in Vietnam from 1966-68 during the Tet Offensive, where he was a member of the First Platoon, 11th Artillery, 9th Infantry, Blackhorse Division. He received the Bronze Star with "V" for valor in June 1968 for heroism in connection with military action involving conflict with armed hostile forces in the Republic of Vietnam.
Mr. DeFalco performed distinguished valorous action as the radio/telephone operator with Company A on a reconnaissance mission against the Viet Cong, during which he was in an exposed position in a rice paddy for six hours while calling with coordinates for military fire. He received a Silver Star, and was also stationed in Germany during the early 1970s.
Mr. DeFalco had worked in personnel for the U.S. Government. He was a past member of the American Legion Coulter Post #1941 in La Grange, and of the post in Berlin.

William Ellis
William Arnold Ellis, 93, of Pewaukee, Wis., formerly of Lombard, died Thursday, July 8, 2004 in Wisconsin.
Visitation and funeral services will held Friday, July 16, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard. Interment is at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery in Oakbrook Terrace.
Mr. Ellis was the father of Adrienne Cox, and grandfather of four. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude; son, David William; daughter and son-in-law, Margo (the late Edwin A.) Ellis Borden; sister, Mercy Ellis Bartlett; and parents, Arnold and Evelyn.
Mr. Ellis was born in Lombard, and served the people of Lombard for many years as a U.S. postal worker. He retired in the 1960s after over 30 years. He had a lifelong love of trains and big band music.
