Violet Erlandson
Violet A. Erlandson, nee Andersen, 89, of Lombard, died Monday, July 5, 2004 at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital in Elmhurst.
Funeral services were held Thursday, July 8, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Villa Park. Interment was at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery in Oakbrook Terrace.
Mrs. Erlandson was the mother of Marlene (Kenneth) Leeseberg, Sandra (Richard) Schaefer and Daniel (Sharon) of Lombard; grandmother of eight; and great-grandmother of 13. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley B.; and five brothers and seven sisters.
Mrs. Erlandson was a resident of Lombard since 1970.
Memorials to Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Guild, Palliative Care Unit, 135 Sunnyside Ave., Elmhurst, IL 60126, would be appreciated.

Walter Gorecki
Walter J. Gorecki, 83, of Lombard, died Wednesday, June 30, 2004 at GlenOaks Hospital in Glendale Heights.
Funeral services were held Friday, July 9, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard. Interment was at Mt. Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst.
Mr. Gorecki was the husband of Hilda, father of Marcy (Jerome) Siegel, grandfather of two, and great-grandfather of five. He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Chester, Harry, William, Stanley, Bernice, Angeline and Irene.
Mr. Gorecki was a resident of Lombard since 1955. He had retired from Fermi Lab in Batavia in 1985, after 25 years working as an engineer.
Erminia Follmann
Funeral services for Erminia Josephine Follmann, 83, nee Grasso, of Lombard, were held Thursday, July 8, 2004 with prayers from Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home, to Mass at Christ the King Catholic Church in Lombard. Interment was private.
Mrs. Follmann was the mother of Robert (Odette), Ken (Cheryl) and David (Val); grandmother of six; great-grandmother of two; sister of Vera and Lindy (Pearl); and aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Americo, Mary, Mae and Attilio; and brother-in-law, Willie.

Dorothy Gregory
Dorothy Gregory, nee Johnson, 88, of Lombard, died Saturday, July 3, 2004 at Wynscape Nursing Home in Wheaton.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 10, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard, with the Rev. David Price officiating. Interment was at Mt. Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst.
Mrs. Gregory was the mother of James (Linda), grandmother of three, and great-grandmother of four. She was preceded in death by her husband, John J.; sister, Mary Linder; and brother, Ralph McMullin.
Mrs. Gregory was a resident of Lombard for almost 60 years. She was a graduate of Mary Lanning School of Nursing in Nebraska, and had worked as a registered nurse at Children's Memorial Hospital, Elmhurst Memorial Hospital and at Dr. Krystasek's office in Lombard.

Ruth Hayley
Ruth E. Hayley, nee Shively, 80, of Lombard, formerly of Wheeling and Streamwood, died Sunday, July 11, 2004 in Lombard.
Visitation will be today, July 14, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 15, at the Maple Street Chapel, First Church of Lombard, with the Rev. Robert Hatfield officiating. Interment is private.
Mrs. Hayley was the mother of Eric (Peggy) of Lombard and Ellen (Phillip) Mikula, and grandmother of four. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Q.; brothers, Donald and James; and sister, Eleanor.
Mrs. Hayley was a resident of Lombard for six years, was formerly of Streamwood for five years and of Wheeling for over 40 years.

Ernest Jacobson
Ernest Jacobson, 91, of Lombard, died Wednesday, July 7, 2004 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.
Funeral services and intermenty were private at Ridgewood Cemetery in Des Plaines.
Mr. Jacobson was the brother of Dorothy, and uncle of three nieces and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his brother, Hartley Jacobson Jr.
Mr. Jacobson had worked as a skilled machinist in the tool and die industry.
Arrangements were made by Ridgewood Funeral Chapel, 9900 Milwaukee Ave., Des Plaines.
Thomasine Jones
Thomasine A. Jones, 71, of Lombard, died Friday, July 9, 2004 at Arbor of Itasca.
Funeral services and intermenty were private.
Mrs. Jones was the mother of Chris Jones, Robin Anne (Timothy) Sexton and Adam Jones; and grandmother of two. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert. Mrs. Jones was retired after working as a clerk in an office.

Gaye Juten
Gaye T. Juten, nee Smith, 68, of North Aurora, died Friday, July 9, 2004 in North Aurora.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 12, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard, with the Rev. Scaria Thoppil of St. Pius X Church officiating. Interment was at Assumption Cemetery in Winfield.
Mrs. Juten was the wife of Richard M.; mother of Scott (Linda), Christopher (Karen) and Lisa (Rick) Gillum; grandmother of 11; great-grandmother of three; and brother of Murdo J. (Patricia) Smith and Gregory (Donna) Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Murdo and Francis Smith of Lombard.
Mrs. Juten lived in North Aurora since 1966. She received her bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of Maryland, and had worked at her husband's EK Williams franchise business in North Aurora.
