Justine Conroy
Justine Conroy, nee Langan, 76, of Lombard, died Friday, Sept. 17, 2004 in Lombard.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 21, with prayers from Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard, to Mass at Sacred Heart Church in Lombard. Interment was at Assumption Cemetery in Winfield.
Mrs. Conroy was the mother of Kathy (Bill) Sutton of Lombard, Billy (Nancy) of Villa Park, Dan (Donna) of Lombard, Tim (Debbie), Moira (Jim) Jenkins of Lombard, Lisa (Tom) Cannata of Lombard, Ginger (Kurt) Clesle, Tom (Lisa) and Mike (Leslie) of Lombard; grandmother of 25; sister of Rob (Patricia) Langan and Eileen (Frank) Condon; sister-in-law of Dorothy Langan; and aunt and great-aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William J.; and brothers, Clement, John, Gene and Bill.
Mrs. Conroy was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Church.

Raymond Crain
Raymond F. Crain, 91, of Lombard, died Monday, Sept. 13, 2004 in Lombard.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 18, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard. Interment was private.
Mr. Crain was the father of Donald (Hilary), Robert (Karin), Peggy (Larry) Moberg and Barbara; grandfather of 13; and great-grandfather of eight. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret; and one sister.
Mr. Crain was a resident of Lombard for 28 years and was formerly of Chicago. He had retired from Prudential after working as an insurance salesman. He was a former member of the Loyal Order of the Moose (LOOM).

Donald Green field
Donald K. Green field, 68, of Westmont, died Saturday, Sept. 11, 2004 at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.
Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 17, at Faith Christian Reformed Church in Elmhurst, with Dr. Lee Koning officiating. Interment was at Elm Lawn Cemetery in Elmhurst.
Mr. Green field was the husband of Kathryn J.; father of Kenneth P. (Larissa), Susan J. Green field, Kathryn E. (Randy Jr.) Commeret and Rebecca L. Green field; brother of Gladys Van Herwaarden, Helena (Art) Kuiper, Harold (Carol) Green field, Ruben (Sharon) Green field, Robert Green field, and Wayne (Rachel) Green field; and uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Clarence (Alyce) Green field; and brother-in-law, Hank Van Herwaarden.
Mr. Green field was a longtime teacher and sports coach at Timothy Christian Schools in Elmhurst.

Jason Hamlin
Jason Hamlin, 29, of Villa Park, died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2004 in Villa Park.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 18, at Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore Ave., Villa Park. Interment was at Fairview Memorial Park in Northlake.
Mr. Hamlin was the son of Richard Hamlin and Bonnie Hamlin; brother of Jeff (Jeannie), Jerry (Linda) and James (Linda) Pohlman; and nephew and cousin of many.
Allan Hampson
Allan R. Hampson, 64, of Ft. Myers, Fla., died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2004 at Hope Hospice in Ft. Myers.
Funeral services were held in Ft. Myers.
Mr. Hampson was the husband of Dawn M; father of Jeffrey A. and Greg A. (Dawn); grandfather of three and brother of Ronald, Al and Gary of Villa Park, Janet LaBarbera of Villa Park, Diane Kusiack of Lombard and Linda Boudreaux.
Mr. Hampson was formerly of Carrollton, Ga., and Villa Park. He graduated from York High School and attended a trade school to study carpentry. Working as a master carpenter, he retired in 2003 after 19 years with the Chicago District union. He also served as fire chief of the volunteer fire department in Townsend, Wis.

Elizabeth Havenga
Elizabeth Havenga, nee Engelsman, 98, of Lombard, died Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.
Visitation and funeral services will be held today, Sept. 22, at Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Road, Lombard. Interment is private.
Mrs. Havenga was the mother of Edith (George) Vos and Albert (Nettie); grandmother of 17; great-grandmother of 43; great-great-grandmother of six; sister of Catherine Landt; Grace Evenhuis and Ralph (Maryl) Engelsman; and aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; son, Harold (Harriet); granddaughter, Kaitlyn; brothers, William (the late Dorothy) and Abel; sister, Theresa; and brothers-in-law, Albert Landt and Arnold Evenhuis.
Mrs. Havenga was a homemaker.
Martin Kesselring
Martin John Kesselring, 50, of Minnesota, formerly of Lombard, died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2004 in Minnesota.
No services are being held.
Mr. Kesselring was the son of Roger and Georgette Kesselring of Lombard, brother of Laurence (Jan) and Ruth (Marilyn), uncle of three and human friend to his dog, Shadow.
Mr. Kesselring grew up in Lombard, graduating from St. Pius Grammar School and Willowbrook High School. He received his bachelor's degree from Illinois State University and his master's degree from Lewis University. He worked as a chemical dependency counselor in Minnesota.

Donald St. Hilaire
Donald J. St. Hilaire, 54, of LaValle, Wis., formerly of Lombard, died Monday, Sept. 13, 2004 at Hines VA Hospital in Hines.
Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 17, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard. Interment was at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Alsip.
Mr. St. Hilaire was the husband of Agnes C.; father of Christopher of Villa Park and Rebecca; stepfather of John (Linda) Taylor, Gary Taylor and Danna (Sean) Williams; grandfather of four; son of Donald T.; brother of Thomas W., Robert J. and Susan (Robert) Amanti of Lombard; and uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gertrude.
Mr. St. Hilaire was a graduate of St. Francis High School in Wheaton. He joined the National Guard in 1970 and retired in 1998 from the U.S. Army, after 28 years of military service. He had served as commander of American Legion Post #242 in LaValle.
