Richard Busch
Richard P. Busch, 87, of Silver Shores, Key Largo, Fla., formerly of Lombard, died Wednesday, March 9, 2005 in Florida.
A prayer service was held Saturday, March 12, at the H.W. Beyer Funeral Home in Key Largo.
A graveside service and intermenty was held on Saturday, March 19, at Arlington Cemetery in Elmhurst.
Mr. Busch was the husband of Helen, father of Dick (Lynne) and Don (Karen), grandfather of eight, and great-grandfather of six.
Mr. Busch was a resident of Florida since 1981. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during World War II.
Arrangements were made by Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard.
John Davids Jr.
John Davids Jr., 78, of Lombard, died Sunday, March 13, 2005 in Lombard.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 16, at Lombard Christian Reformed Church, with the Rev. Nathan Elgersma officiating. Interment was at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery.
Mr. Davids was the husband of Florence; father of John (Patricia), Steven, Diane (John) Rice and Judith (Thomas) Woldman; grandfather of many; brother of Martha (Ben) Heslinga, Richard (Annette) Davids and Joanne Engel; brother-in-law of Gert (Ray) Tazelaar, Jennie (Peter) Rocco and John (Karen) Boeringa; and uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Donald (Lisa); sister, Elizabeth (Clarence) Post; brother, Ralph (Diane) Davids; and brothers-in-law, Ernie Engel and Simon Boeringa.
Mr. Davids had worked as a truck driver for a cartage company.

Robert Grady
Robert Elwood Grady, 88, of Lombard, formerly of Massachusetts and Florida, died Saturday, March 19, 2005 at DuPage County Convalescent Home in Wheaton.
Visitation and funeral services will be held today, March 23, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard. Interment is at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
Mr. Grady was the brother-in-law of Sally Grady of Lombard, and uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret; brother, Jack; and sister, Clarice Payne.
Mr. Grady was a resident of Lombard since 2001, and had lived in Taunton, Mass., in the 1960s and 1970s. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Signal Corps, having served during World War II; and had worked as a cutlery salesman.
Alma Hebenstreit
Alma E. Hebenstreit, nee Kappelgard, 104, of Villa Park, died Tuesday, March 15, 2005 in Villa Park.
Funeral services were held Friday, March 18, at Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore Ave., Villa Park. Interment was at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery.
Mrs. Hebenstreit was the mother of Richard (Honor), mother-in-law of Marian Hebenstreit, grandmother of six, great-grandmother of eight, great-great-grandmother of five, and companion of Myrna Rew. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry; and son, Harold.
Mrs. Hebenstreit was born in Denmark, and was an 81-year resident of Villa Park. She was a life member of the Villa Park Garden Club and a member of the Villa Park Woman's Club, a member of the Church of Christ Scientist, volunteered for many years at the Christian Science Reading Room, and participated in establishing the Villa Park Public Library. She was known as a gifted homemaker who loved knitting, crocheting, weaving, flower arranging and baking.

Margaret Hughes
Margaret S. Hughes, nee Green , of Lombard, formerly of the Southshore neighborhood of Chicago, died Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at Sunrise Assisted Living Center in Glen Ellyn.
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 17, with prayers from Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Road, Lombard, to Mass at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Lombard. Interment was at St. Mary Cemetery in Evergreen Park.
Mrs. Hughes was the mother of Barbara Curry and Sally (Philip) Hupher, grandmother of five, great-grandmother of four, and aunt of one. She was preceded in death by her husband, James J.; brothers, Edward and Arthur Green ; and son-in-law, Donald Curry.
Mrs. Hughes was born in St. Louis, Mo. She had worked as a treasurer in education.

Louise B. "Bee" Jordan, nee Baldoni, 83, of Lombard, died Friday, March 18, 2005 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 21, with prayers from Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard, to Mass at Christ the King Church in Lombard. Interment was at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
Mrs. Jordan was the mother of Mary Ann Viscomi (Charles W. Wolowinski) and Michael A.; grandmother of three; sister of Josephine T. Baldoni of Lombard and Charles (Jane) Baldoni; sister-in-law of Neil Iovino, Jeanette (Ralph) Olson, Lorraine Herrera and Marlene Johnson; and aunt and great-aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James M.; brothers, the Rev. Robert Baldoni and John Baldoni; sisters, Rita Baldoni and Laura Iovino; sister-in-law, Theresa Baldoni; and brothers-in-law, Robert Johnson and Michael Jordan.
Mrs. Jordan was a resident of Lombard for 45 years. She had retired after working 25 years as a bookkeeper for West Suburban Bank.
Helen Rader
Helen M. Rader, nee Plohr, 74, of Lombard, died Sunday, March 20, 2005 in Lombard.
Visitation will be today, March 23, with a prayer service at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 30, at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Lombard. Interment is private.
Mrs. Rader was the sister of Eleanor (John) Hunter; aunt of Christopher (Carol), Tony (Nancy) and John; great-aunt of six nieces and great-nephews; and friend of Dorothy E. Thoren and Sharon (Eric) Ginn.
Mrs. Rader was a resident of Lombard for 40 years. She had attended Schiller Grammar School and Waller High School in Chicago, and retired after working for Illinois Bell. She was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Lombard and was active in several Bible studies at church.
