Mary Sengebush
The Cremation Society of Illinois is handling arrangements for Mary E. "Poly" Sengebush, nee Pearn, 77.
Mrs. Sengebush was the mother of Henry, Karen (Tom) Sidman, John (Cindy) and Sue (Gus) Karua; grandmother of eight; great-grandmother of one; and aunt of three nieces and three nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry.
Mrs. Sengebush was an auxiliary member of the Elmhurst American Legion Post #187.
Florence Stiehl
Florence E. Stiehl, nee Volkmann, 91, of Lombard, died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2007 in Lombard.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 6, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Villa Park. Interment was private.
Mrs. Stiehl was the mother of Dwight (Rita), grandmother of two, and aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest; and daughter, Lynn K.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society, 1801 Meyers Road, Suite 100, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181, would be appreciated.

Russell Svetic
Russell V. Svetic, 75, of Villa Park, died Monday, Jan. 8, 2007 at Rush Medical Center.
Visitation will be Jan. 11, at Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore Ave., Villa Park.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 12, at the funeral home. Interment is private.
Mr. Svetic was the husband of Jeannine; father of Russell T. (Rena), Cynthia (Steve) Kois and Scott (Penny); grandfather of six; brother of Marie DeRudder, Ralph Svetic, Frances Svoboda and Catherine Hoffman; and uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Victor Svetic.
Mr. Svetic was a 1950 graduate of Farragut High School. He had worked at Illinois Bell-Lucent Tech.

Virgie Vikara
Virgie Vikara, nee Triplett, 79, of Elmhurst, died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006 at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital in Elmhurst.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 6, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard. Interment was private.
Mrs. Vikara was the mother of Diane Vaccarello, Cynnde Nielsen (Deon Jackson) of Lombard, Joanne (Ron) Bleeden and Ron (Sherry) of Villa Park; grandmother of 10; great-grandmother of 14; sister of Ruth Hedrix, seven sisters and one brother; and aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sons, Anthony and Richard Vaccarello; parents; and one brother and two sisters.
Patrick Baldwin Sr.
Patrick P. Baldwin Sr., 64, of Wisconsin, formerly of Villa Park, died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2007 at St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wis.
Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 12, at Brust Villa Park Funeral Home, 305 S. Princeton. Interment was private.
Mr. Baldwin was the husband of Cheryl; father of Patrick and Michele (Mark) Homyak of Villa Park; "opa" of two; brother of Margaret, Kathleen, Suzanne, David, George, Thomas and Richard; godfather of three; and relative and friend of many.
Mr. Baldwin graduated from Gordon Tech High School in Chicago in 1961, and had worked as an electronic component salesman for over 40 years. He loved to fish, was an avid dog and cat lover, loved all animals, enjoyed outdoor sports and was known as a good friend to many.
Louise Kaiser
Louise K. Kaiser, nee Kalk, 88, of Lombard, died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007 at Oak Brook Nursing Home in Oak Brook.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 13, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard. Interment was private.
Mrs. Kaiser was the wife of Lyle O., mother of Bonnie (Walter) Sattler and Darlene Garay, grandmother of three, great-grandmother of four, sister of Glenn (Evelyn) Kalk, and relative and friend of many. She was preceded in death by her brother, Fay Kalk.
Mrs. Kaiser was a homemaker who loved sewing and gardening. She was very interested in needlecrafts and enjoyed cooking. She played bridge for a long time, and it was thought she made the best chocolate-chip cookies on the planet.

Marion Martin
Marion "Steve" Martin, 57, died Friday, Dec. 22, 2006.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 20, at Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Road, Lombard. Private interment is at Green hill Cemetery in Noble, Ill.
Mr. Martin was the husband of Suzanne; father of Jennifer Cass; grandfather of one; brother of Patricia (Peter) Hage, Laura (Robert) Satterfield, Dawn (James) Cronin and Alan Tepper; and uncle, nephew and cousin of many. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Evelyn.
Mr. Martin was born in Berwyn, attended Pleasantdale Elementary School and graduated from Lyons Township High School in 1967. In 1972 he completed pipe fitters trade school and a five-year apprenticeship, to become a journeyman and member of Pipe Fitters' Union Local 597. He was employed by Carrier Building Services for over 30 years.
Mr. Martin enjoyed family events, classic cars, motorcycles, boating and was an avid fisherman.
Erna Mueller
Erna Mueller, 81, of Lombard, died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2007 in Lombard.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 13, at Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Road, Lombard, with the Rev. Dan Wegryzyn of St. John's Lutheran Church in Lombard officiating.
Mrs. Mueller was the wife of Heinz; mother of Ronald (Ann), Robert and Deborah (Frank) Spaletto; grandmother of eight; great-grandmother of nine; and sister of Reinhold (Gertrude) Weimann, Emil Weimann and Irma (the late Richard) Wcichenhain. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Bryan Mueller; and sister, Frieda Schulke.
Mrs. Mueller was a homemaker, and formerly worked as a salesperson for encyclopedia sales.
Memorials to the American Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
