Bernice Louise Ruda, 77, of Ottawa, Ill., formerly of Lombard, died Monday, Sept. 13, 1999 at Ottawa Pavilion in Ottawa.
Committal services will be held Thursday, Sept. 16, at Chapel Hill Gardens, Elmhurst. There will be no visitation.
Mrs. Ruda was the mother of Lynn M. (John) Polen, and Robert A.; grandmother of two; great-grandmother of two; and sister of Phyllis Lange and Arthur L. Jeschke. She was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas.

HARRY TOPOLE
Harry E. Topole, 90, died Friday, Sept. 3, 1999.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 8, at Pedersen-Ryberg Mortuary, 435 N. York Road, Elmhurst. Interment was private.
Mr. Topole was the father of James (Donna); grandfather of three, and great-grandfather of nine.

BERNICE TRENKLER
Bernice T. Trenkler, nee Waitos, 78, of Mt. Washington, Ky., formerly of Lombard, died Thursday, Sept. 8, 1999 at Norton Suburban Hospital, Louisville, Ky.
Graveside services were held Saturday, Sept. 11, at Mt. Emblem Cemetery, Elmhurst, Ill.
Mrs. Trenkler was the mother of Stanley (Judith) Ciochon, Alan Cochran, Linda (Thomas) Beran, Guy Ciochon of Lombard, and Roberta (David) Sanchi, of Lombard; stepmother of Billie (Richard) Hemza, and Kenneth Trenkler; grandmother of 19, and great-grandmother of 20. She was preceded in death by her husband, William, and her step-son, Terrill.
Mrs. Trenkler was a resident of Kentucky for two years. She had worked for Elmhurst Stone Company as a secretary for over 25 years.

MARIE TROSS
Marie I. Tross, nee Heavey, 79, of Lombard, formerly of Chicago, died Saturday, Sept. 4, 1999 at Lexington Health Care Center, Lombard.
Funeral Services were held Wednesday, Sept. 8, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard, with Rev. Arno Dennerlein of Sacred heart church officiating. Interment was at Fairview Memorial Park, Northlake.
Mrs. Tross was the mother of Roger (Christine), Richard, of Lombard, and Michael; grandmother of six; great-grandmother of four; and sister of Francis Heavey, and Tom (Jo) Heavey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis; son, Ronald; and daughter-in-law, Cathy Tross.
Mrs. Tross lived in Lombard for six months, and was formerly a 78-year resident of Chicago. She was a homemaker, and a member of Compassionate Friends.
Masses would be appreciated.
DOLORES WINTER
Dolores E. Winter, 68, of Lombard, died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 1999 at Beacon Hill Health Center, Lombard.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 14, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard, with Rev. William G. Crawford, of Community Fellowship Church officiating. Interment was at Chapel Hill Gardens west, Oakbrook Terrace.
Ms. Winter was the sister of Evelyn Hintz, Clifford A. (Louise); and many nieces and nephews.
Ms. Winter graduated from Wheaton college in 1954, and was a member of the Alumni Association. She taught for 38 years and retired in 1991 from Westchester Elementary School District. At the time of her retirement, she was teaching second grade. Ms. Winter was a member of Community Fellowship Church.
RICHARD ZECK
Richard C. Zeck, 75, of Lombard died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 1999 at Elmhurst Hospital, Elmhurst.
Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 10, at Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore Ave., Villa Park, with Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lombard. Interment was at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
Mr. Zeck was the husband of Gloria; father of Richard M. (Jane), and David (Pam); grandfather of five; brother-in-law of Robert (Peggy) DiMuzio; and uncle and great uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Leonard (Elizabeth), and Herbert (Lauretta); and his sisters, Cecilia (Lloyd) Umpnhour and Bernadine Zeck.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
GEORGE CARR
George T. Carr, 86, of Lombard, formerly of Elmhurst, died Thursday, Nov. 4, 1999 at home.
Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 8, at St. Alexander Church, Villa Park. Interment was at Fairview Memorial Cemetery, Northlake.
Mr. Carr was the father of Sharon (Clairon) Perkins, Greig T. (Susan), Kenneth C. (Cheryl), and Marvin J. (Eleanor); grandfather of 12; and great-grandfather of six. He was preceded in death by his wife, Celia C; brothers William, Alfred, James, and Albert; and sisters Clara Reine and Arine Latimer.
Mr. Carr was a retired driver for a bus company.

HELEN CULVER
Helen M. Culver, nee Sieferman, 90, of Villa Park, died Monday, Nov. 8, 1999 at the Anchorage of Bensenville.
Funeral services will be held today, Nov. 10, with Mass at St. Alexander Catholic Church, Villa Park. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Freeport, Ill.
Mrs. Carver was the mother of Guy (Flora) and Mary (James) Rohrich; grandmother of nine; sister of Robert Sieferman, Frances Laurence, and Mary Ellen Hedtke; and aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy; and daughter, Ramona Kasten.
Mrs. Culver was a homemaker.
