CAMDENTON, Mo. -- Hazel Margaret "Dawson" Ballentine, 84, of Camdenton, and formerly of Kewanee, died Monday, June 2, 2003, at Ozark Care Center, Osage Beach, Mo.
Cremation has been accorded.
No services are scheduled.
Allee-Holman Funeral Home, Camdenton, is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by two sons, David (Hope) Ballentine of Camdenton, and Gary (Jan) Ballentine of Toulon.
Barbara Ann Johnson Loveall
MILAN -- Barbara Ann Johnson Loveall, 64, of Milan, died Sunday, May 25, 2003 at the home of her daughter, Brenda Garwood, in Rock Island.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, at Vandemore Funeral Home, Atkinson.
Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Geneseo.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 this evening, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Barbara Loveall Memorial Fund.
She was born Nov. 5, 1938 in Sterling, the daughter of Oscar and Evelyn (Lewis) Johnson.
She married Donald Whan in June of 1956.
She later married Patrick Loveall, May 13, 1979 in Hillsdale.
He survives, as do two daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Deb) Gibson of East Peoria, and Mrs. Clifford (Brenda) Garwood of Rock Island; two sisters, Mary Webster of Toulon, and Gloria Pettigo of Galesburg; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild
A brother and her parents preceded her in death.
She was a graduate of the former Atkinson High School.
She had been employed at J.D. Darnall High School in Geneseo, in the cafeteria for many years.
She also owned and operated a beauty salon in her home in Geneseo.
She later worked at the John Deere Harvester Works in East Moline.
She was a former member of First United Methodist Church Geneseo.
She enjoyed Bingo.
Helen M. Doubet
WILLIAMSFIELD -- Helen M. Doubet, 89, of Williamsfield, died at 5:40 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2003 at her home.
Funeral services were held today at Williamsfield United Methodist Church.
Burial was in Williamsfield Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Friends of Doubet-Benjamin Park in Williamsfield.
Rux Funeral Home, Williamsfield, is in charge of arrangements.
She was born Aug. 26, 1913, in Dahinda, the daughter of Ralph and Nora (Butts) Gibson.
She married E. Dale Doubet, May 1, 1937 in Nashua, Iowa.
He preceded her in death April 9, 1995.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
Surviving are two daughters, Linda Johnson and Mrs. Larry (Anne) Mattson, and a son, Philip (Teresa) Doubet, all of Williamsfield; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She had been a homemaker.
She was a member of Williamsfield United Methodist Church.
Clement J. Cox
WYOMING -- Clement J. Cox, 76, of Wyoming, died at 7:06 a.m. Monday, May 26, 2003, at Toulon Health Care Center.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 30 at St. Dominic's Catholic Church, Wyoming, the Rev. Robert Rayson officiating.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Wyoming Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 8 p.m.
Burial will be in St. Dominic's Cemetery, Wyoming.
Memorials may be made to St. Dominic's Catholic Church, of which he was a member; Wyoming American Legion Post 91, of which he also was a member; or Wyoming Ambulance Service.
He was born Feb. 24, 1927 in Wyoming, the son of Ralph M. and Bernadette (Sager) Cox.
Surviving are a brother, William (Jeannie) Cox of Wyoming; four sisters, Mrs. Jack (Jeane) Saline of Rio, Mrs. Doug (Betty) Banz of Wyoming, Mrs. Gene (Mildred) Stear of Davenport, Iowa, and Mrs. Jerry (Lois) Smith of Peoria; and 32 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and a nephew.
He farmed in the Wyoming area, his entire life, retiring in 1989.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II and had been an Essex Township, trustee for many years.
Wilfred A. "Bill" Koehler
KEWANEE -- Wilfred A. "Bill" Koehler, 83, of Kewanee, died Saturday, May 24, 2003 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 31, at Zion Lutheran Church, Kewanee, the Rev. Susan Kent officiating.
Visitation will be from 9:30 until time of services, Saturday, at the church.
Private inurnment will be at a later date.
Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church Landscaping or the Kewanee Food Pantry.

He was born April 15, 1920 in Blue Island, Ill., the son of Walter and Sophie (Wille) Koehler.
He married Betty Swedman in 1944, in Kewanee.
She survives, as do two sons, Andrew "Andy" Koehler of Kewanee, and Tom (Mary) Koehler of Kansas City, Kan.; three daughters, Mrs. Lary (Mary) Garrett of Elmwood, Kristen Parish of Sebastian, Fla., and Mrs. Todd (Nancy) Swinderman of Kewanee; 13 grandchildren, Carrie and Adam Garrett of Elmwood, Joy Slavens of Eudora, Kan., John, Jean and Jackie Koehler of Kansas City, Kan., and Zak, Luke, Mark, Jill and Isaac Parish and Andrew and Chelsea Gibson, all of Sebastian, Fla.; two step-grandchildren, Jesse, and Zachary Swinderman of Champaign; two great-grandchildren, Colton and Clayton Slavens of Eudora; many nieces and nephews; a son-in-law, Don Parish; and two sisters, Viola Albrecht of Green Valley, Ariz., and Elaine Johnson of Roseland, Fla.
He was preceded in death by a brother, three sisters, a niece and a granddaughter.
He was educated and graduated from high school in Blue Island.
He then graduated from the Worsham College of Mortuary Science.
He worked as a funeral director for the W. W. Fern Funeral Home in Chicago.
He moved to Kewanee, in 1947.
He was a partner in the Davis and Koehler Food Store, now the site of the VFW in Kewanee.
After that, he worked for the Siefert and Smith Funeral Home in Kewanee, and also several funeral homes in the area.
He then opened the Koehler Monument Co. in Kewanee, and ran that until his retirement in 2001.
Known to many as "Uncle Bill" and also "Wild Bill," he enjoyed family parties, and Illini and Chicago Bulls basketball.
