Visitation is 2 to 9 p.m. today at Milton Bos Funeral Home, Dolton. An 11 a.m. service is Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Jacobson was born July 7, 1922, in Chicago. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her sons William (Sparks) of Naperville; sister Doris (Joe) Gleason; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband William and her daughter Joyce.

Donald W. Pluister of Indiana, formerly of South Holland, died Oct. 28 at Ingalls Hospital Hospice in Harvey.
An 11 a.m. service is today at Calvary Reformed Church, South Holland. Interment will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Lansing. Arrangements were by Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home, South Holland.
Mr. Pluister was born Feb. 21, 1939, in Wisconsin. He was a supplier development manager with Navistar International. Mr. Pluister was an assistant chief with the South Holland Fire Department and served with that department for 38 years.
He is survived by his wife Romayne; daughters Donna (Steve) Slavick of Oak Lawn, Patty (Jeff) Eenigenburg and Mary Beth (Bryan) Kitchen, both of Indiana; sister Sharon Vaughn of Michigan; brother Robert (Evon) of Michigan; six grandchildren.

Alma Deabel (nee Ravellette) of Chicago Heights died Oct. 29 at St. James Hospital and Health Centers in Chicago Heights.
Visitation is 2 to 9 p.m. today at Smits Funeral Home in Steger. A 10 a.m. service is Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Beverly Cemetery in Worth.
Mrs. Deabel was born Dec. 4, 1912, in Worth. She was a homemaker. She was a volunteer for Salvation Army and Jones Memorial Center and a member of Over 55 Club of Chicago Heights, TOPS of Steger, Ruth Circle and the NTO Club at Deer Creek Christian Church.
She is survived by her son Richard of Chicago Heights. Her husband Arthur died in 1976.

Mrs. Holl was born Feb. 27, 1910, in Missouri. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Park Forest.
She is survived by her daughter Nona Dillon of Matteson; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband Ross Drummond and her second husband Kermit Holl, and her son Jerry Drummond.

Mrs. Gressel was born May 23, 1937, in Lake Fork. She was a homemaker.

Mr. Knapstein was born June 20, 1937, in Wisconsin. He was a counseling psychologist for Hines VA Hospital in Maywood. He was a deacon for St. Dominic and member of Knights of Columbus, Wheaton Jail Ministries and St. James the Worker job counseling program in Glen Ellyn. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife Betty; daughter Susan; sons John and Eric.

She was born Jan. 21, 1925, in Chicago. She was a retired secretary and member of Christ Memorial United Church of Christ of Blue Island.

Mrs. Herman was born March 15, 1916, in Chicago. An activist for health and women's issues, she was named Woman of the Year by the Abby Foundation in its first year of operation. She helped found the South Suburban Housing Center and a south suburban chapter of Older Women's League. Mrs. Herman was president of the Homewood-Flossmoor League of Women voters.
She is survived by her son David and a grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim.
