SOUTHERN ILLINOIS -- Enno Rikand, 70, of St. Louis, Mo. died at 10:30 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2002, in De Paul Health Center in St. Louis. Arrangements are pending at the Welge-Pechacek Funeral Home in Chester.

Ann Sanders
NASHVILLE -- Ann Decker Sanders, 92, died at 4:15 a.m. Sunday, June 2, 2002, in her home. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Paul United Church of Christ, with the Rev. Lance Lackore officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Styninger-Krupp Funeral Home in Nashville and from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Perry County, the St. Paul United Church of Christ Cemetery Fund or to the donor's choice.

Wesley Sizemore
HERRIN -- Wesley M. Sizemore, 78, died at 11:42 p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2002, in Herrin HospitaL. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Johnson Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin, with the Rev. Jim Burell officiating. Burial will be in Herrin City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Friends and family are invited to a gathering from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the Herrin Civic Center. Johnson Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

William Schuster
PIOPOLIS -- William J. "Bill" Schuster, 81, died at 11:40 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2002, in his home. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at St. John Baptist Catholic Church in Piopolis, with Monsignor Joseph Lawler officiating. Burial will be in the church Cemetery, with military rites conducted by VFW Post No. 3851 of Carmi. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.

Florence Downen
RIDGWAY -- Florence Miller Wilson Downen, 91, died at 5:10 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2002, in Fountain View Nursing Home in Eldorado. Services will be held at 1 p.m. today at Vickery Funeral Chapel in Ridgeway, with the Rev. Leo Hall officiating. Burial will be in Asbury Cemetery in Omaha, IlL. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of services today at the funeral home.

Barry Mosley
WEST FRANKFORT -- Barry D. Mosley, 57, died at 8:40 p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2002, as result of an automobile accident. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Boner Cemetery in West Frankfort, with the Rev. Alan Summers officiating. Friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery. Union Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Dwain Arview
WEST FRANKFORT -- Dwain Arview, 69, died at 8:13 a.m. Sunday, June 2, 2002, in the Franklin Hospital in Benton. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Braden Valley Community Church, with Brother Robert Abbott officiating. It was his request to be cremated. Parker-Reedy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Louise Jacobson
ANNA -- Louise Jacobson, 74, died Saturday, June 1, 2002, in the Union County HospitaL. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. today in the Anna Cemetery, with Jimmy Keller officiating. Hileman & Parr Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Blanche Jouett
MCLEANSBORO -- Mrs. Blanche Jouett, 91, died at 5:53 p.m. on Sunday, June 2, 2002, in Hamilton Memorial HospitaL. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 6, at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro, with the Revs. Robert Sefried and Randall Ragan officiating. Burial will be at Valhalla Cemetery near Alton. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Grace B. Pucci
MOUNT VERNON -- Grace B. Pucci, 93, died at 4:47 a.m. Monday, June 3, 2002 in St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospital, Mount Vernon. Arrangements are incomplete at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon.

John Edward Griffin
WEST FRANKFORT -- John Edward Griffin, 89, passed away at 10 a.m. Sunday, June 2, 2002, in West Frankfort. He was born to Ella and Ben Griffin April 8, 1913, in Marvel, Ala. Eddie owned and operated Griffin's Grocery in West Frankfort for over thirty years. He served as Franklin County Circuit Clerk from 1964 to 1980 and held various civic positions including justice of the peace, City Commissioner and Park Board. He was a member of the Second Baptist Church where he served as Deacon and Sunday School Superintendent, Second Baptist Men's Prayer Breakfast Group, Kiwanis Club and Franklin County Country Club. Eddie married Georgia Sniderwin on July 21, 1934, at the Second Baptist Church parsonage in West Frankfort. Together, they enjoyed over sixty-seven years of marriage. Eddie is survived by his wife, Georgia; sister, Estelle Zanter of West Frankfort; three sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Don L. Griffin and wife, Vicki, of West Frankfort; the Rev. Jon E. Griffin and wife, Sally, of West Frankfort; the Rev. Ken Griffin and wife, Mary Jo, of St. Charles, Mo. ; two daughters and sons-in-law, Marilou Proffitt and husband, Benny, of Brentwood, Tenn. and Georgianne Graskewicz and husband, Don, of West Frankfort; 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and three nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Fred, his sister, Ethel Burton and two sons, George Edward and Richard Dean (Dick). Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2002, at the Second Baptist Church at the corner of Oak and Odle Streets in West Frankfort, with the Rev. Brett Beasley officiating. Burial will be in the Tower Heights Cemetery in West Frankfort. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 4, 2002 from 5-9 p.m. at the Second Baptist Church. Parker-Reedy Funeral Home in West Frankfort is in charge of arrangements. Donations may be made to the Second Baptist Church Building Fund and the Frankfort Community High School Athletic Department and will be accepted at the church or the funeral home.

Maggie Hamilton
SANDUSKY -- Maggie Hamilton, 91, died Saturday, June 1, 2002, at her home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 7, 2002, at Mount Tabor Missionary Baptist Church in Sandusky. Burial will follow in Mobile Cemetery. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 7, until the funeral hour at the church. Heavenly Gates Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Sharon Lee Goode
MARION -- Sharon Lee Goode, 51, passed away at 6:51 p.m. Friday, May 31, 2002, at Marion Memorial HospitaL. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, at Mitchell- Hughes funeral home, with Rev. Jeff Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Marion. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, June 3, at the funeral home. Sharon was born April 28, 1951, in Rockford to Rev. John and Mary Lou (Hersinger) Jackson. She married Rev. Vern Goode in Marion on November 15, 1969, and he survives in Marion. Other survivors include daughter Jennifer Lynn Goode of Marion; mother Mary Lou Jackson of Marion; sister and brother-in-law Cindy and Robh Ruppel of Glendale, Calif. ; special friends Diana and Les Cranick of Marion and special friend John Will of Green field; niece Austyn Ruppel of Glendale, Calif. ; and several other nieces and nephews; half-brother and sister-in-law David and Debbie Jackson of St. Louis; half-sister and brother-in-law Marilyn and Tom Smelik of St. Louis; father-in-law Rev. James Goode of Sacramento, Calif. ; four brothers-in-law, Rev. Douglas and wife Betty Goode of Dripping Springs, Ark. ; James and Edna Goode of Etters, Pa., Gary and Pam Goode of Sacramento, CaliF. and Rev. David and Mona Goode of Charlotte, N. C. ; sister in-law Earline and Jewell Todd of Millstadt. Her father Rev. John Jackson; her maternal and paternal grandparents and one uncle preceded her in death. Sharon was employed at the Veterans Administration Medical Center as an Administrative Assistant. She was a member of The Abundant Life Assembly of God in Marion.
