Dolores Robb St. John
Dolores Robb St. John, 89, of Rutherfordton, North Carolina, formerly of Carpentersville, Lyons and Brookfield, IL. died Wednesday, March 20, 2002 at the Spartanburg Regional Hospital. She was born in Lyons on March 28, 1912. She was the daughter of Joseph and Anna (nee Neher) Robb.
She is survived by two daughters, Lorene (Don) Summerkamp of Algonquin and Joelyn (Vic) Urban of Ellenboro, NC; three sons, Alan (Cindy) St. John of Roselle, IL, Ronald (Ginny) St. John of Ellenboro, NC and Clifford (Joyce) St. John of Wheaton; 17 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren and five great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leonard J. St. John on November 24, 1992, whom she married on October 29, 1929; four brothers and five sisters.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday at 9:15 A.M. in the Miller Funeral Home, West Dundee to St. Monica Church of Carpentersville for mass at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow in the Lyonsville cemetery, Indian Head Park, IL. Visitation will be on Monday from 5-9:00 P.M. in the Miller Funeral Home, West Dundee. Please omit flowers, masses appreciated or memorials to the American Lung Association.

Mathilde H. Bamonte
Mathilde H. Bamonte, 91, of Lake Worth, passed away on March 19, 2006 in Florida. She was born in Union, IL, and attended Northern Illinois Normal School (Northern Illinois University).
Mathilde taught in a one room schoolhouse in Illinois. During WWII she was employed by the U.S. Army in Rockford, IL and White Suphler Springs, WV. She lived in Bronxville, NY for 46 years before moving to West Hartford, CT. Mathilde spent her winters in Lake Worth, FL.
She was preceded in death by her husband, A. Robert Bamonte and also five sisters and one brother.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Edmund P. Dunn, Jr. and also leaves to cherish three grandchildren, Rachel Dunn of NYC, Robert and Edmund P. Dunn III of West Hartford, CT; her brother, George J. Heideman of Ligonier, PA and Lake Worth, FL.

Harry George Bendtsen Jr.
Harry George Bendtsen Jr., formerly of Elgin, IL, passed away March 18, 2006, at the Veteran's Hospital in Albuquerque, NM. He was born April 13, 1926, in Elgin, to Harry G. Bendtsen Sr. and Mary Petrea Bendtsen (Gylleck).
Harry was a graduate of Elgin Academy, Class of 1944. He worked in the family business, Bendtsen Dairy and Ice Cream Co. He played and coached semi-pro football with the Elgin Torpedoes and even auditioned with George "Papa Bear" Halas to try out for the Chicago Bears. He was a veteran of World War II, served with 179th Inf. Regt., 45th Infantry Division. He received the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, the Army Good Conduct, the European/African/Mid East Campaign (Double Award), the WWII Victory and the Army of Occupation Medals along with Combat Infantry Badge. He distinguished himself as one of the liberators for the prisoners at the infamous concentration camp Dachau. After the war, he continued to serve his country as a registrant's advocate to the Selective Service and early work on what would later be known as ADA (American Disabilities Act), beginning with the Truman administration. Despite being confined to a wheelchair due to the polio epidemic of 1949, Harry charged forward as if he had no handicap at all. He raised funds for various charitable organizations by criss-crossing the country to promote donations for these worthy causes. He also performed work with the American Red Cross, the Gideon's and as Chaplain for the Paralyzed Veterans of America, Zia Chapter in Albuquerque.
Harry is survived by his wife, Phyllis (Pulkka) of Albuquerque, NM; one sister, Marilyn Brumit of Elizabethtown, TN; four children, Harry G. (Kena) Bendtsen III of Albuquerque, NM, Heidi (Brian) Shaffer of Garland, UT, Karen (Offad) Vallejo (Offad) of Laguna Niguel, CA and Jens Peter (Jennifer) Bendtsen of Veguita, NM and nine grandchildren.
His ashes were placed in the National cemetery in Santa Fe, NM with full military honors on March 22, 2006.
A memorial service was held March 21, 2006, at the First Baptist Church of West Albuquerque, 6400 Golf Course Road, NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120.

Rosemary DeHol
Rosemary DeHol, 80, of Rockford formerly of Huntley and Carpentersville, died Monday, March 21, 2006 at St. Anthony Medical Center, Rockford.
She was born on July 5, 1925 in Evanston. For many years she was a cashier for Jewel Foods.
Survivors include son, Corey (Doreen) DeHol of Carpentersville; two brothers, Jack Zenner of Des Plaines and Claude (Pat) Gregory of St. Louis, MO; two grandsons, Jeremy DeHol of Carpentersville and Kevin Gregory of West Dundee; a daughter-in-law, Flora (Roy) Reingardt of Rockford.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur in 1981; and one son, Glenn Gregory in 1990.
Funeral Services will be on Saturday, March 25, 2006 at 10:00 AM in the Miller Funeral Home, West Dundee.
Burial will follow in the Dundee Township East cemetery, East Dundee. Visitation will be from 4 - 8 PM on Friday in the funeral home.

Lawrence "Mike" A. Krueger
Lawrence "Mike" A. Krueger, age 76, of Crystal Lake, died on Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at St. Luke Medical Center in Milwaukee.
He was born on April 3, 1929 in the town of Corning, WI, the son of Harold and Martha (Kleinschmidt) Krueger. On February 6, 1948, he married Shirley Edwards in Elgin.
A graduate of Crystal Lake Community High School in 1947, he was self-employed in accounting and tax services. He was a member and past president of the IAAI (Independent Accountants Association of Illinois) and a member of the NATP (National Association of Tax Preparers).
He was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church of Cary.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Shirley Krueger of Crystal Lake; three children, Sharon (Lawrence) Lavine of Crystal Lake, Sandra (Mike Flood) Cunningham of Stevensville, MI and James (Julie) Krueger of Crystal Lake; six grandchildren, Shauna (Melanie Verling) Cunningham of St. Louis, MO, Daniel Cunningham of Stevensville, MI, Michael Lavine of Crystal Lake, Matthew Lavine of Crystal Lake, Jennifer Lavine of Grayslake and Jeffrey Krueger of Crystal Lake; two great-grandchildren, Connor Cunningham and Annastacia Lavine.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Jeanette Lockwood.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2006 at the Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake, IL 60014.
Visitation will continue from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2006 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 2107 Three Oaks Road, Cary, IL 60013. Pastor Stewart Schulz will officiate.
Interment will be in Windridge Memorial Park in Cary.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Holy Cross Organ Fund, 2107 Three Oaks Road, Cary, IL 60013.

Eleanore M. Olsen
Eleanore M. Olsen, 88 of Elgin, died Saturday, March 18, 2006 at Heritage Manor Nursing Center, Elgin. She was born November 5, 1917 in Chicago, the daughter of Clarence and Minnie (Sauck) Olsen.
She was a devoted homemaker, mother and wife. Eleanore enjoyed gardening and was an expert seamstress, she enjoyed yachting and was accepted to Chicago Metropolitan School of Art.
Eleanore is preceded in death by parents; her husband, Arnold of over 50 years; one grandson, Arnie; one granddaughter, Karen; one brother, Clarence, Jr.; one sister, Delores; and one nephew, Gary.
She is survived by a daughter, Cheryl (Charles) Karner of Elgin; one son, Arnold (Peggy) of So. Elgin; six grandchildren, Lesa Luann, Charles Jr., Candice, Cindy, Aaron; six great-grandchildren, Alexandrea, Karl Jr., Charles, III., Jordan, Ethan, and Vivian; Many nieces, nephews and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, March 23, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. at the Elgin Bible Church with Pastor Tim Beam, officiating. Burial will be private. O' Connor-Leetz Funeral Home, Elgin in charge of arrangements.

Sandra Rogalski
Sandra Rogalski, 63, of Carpentersville passed away at Provena St. Joseph Hospital, Elgin.
She was born November 17, 1939 in Elgin, the daughter of Kenneth and Dorothy Watermann Schult.
Survivors include two daughters, Raylene (Mack) Watkins of Marengo and Robin (James) Brown of Carpentersville; two sons, Randy (Cheryl) Rogalski and Randy Rogalski of Carpentersville; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a sister, Carol Lawyer of East Dundee.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Roger in 1996.
Private graveside services will be held Tuesday in Lakewood Memorial Park, Elgin.
There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.

Kathlyn Gullett
Kathlyn Gullett, 90, of Elgin, passed away Monday, March 21, 2005, in Elgin. She was born on July 26, 1914, in St. Louis, MO.
Kathlyn had taught school in the Pope County School District for 35 years prior to her retirement. She loved to travel, and spend time with her family. Kathlyn will be dearly missed. She was a member of the Eddyville Methodist Church, the Pope County Retired Teachers Association, and a member of the Eddyville Eastern Star. She volunteered with the Pope County Historical Society and the Senior Citizens group.
Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Lue (Bob) Henson of Elgin, Mary Sue (Paul) Bonin of Lake in the Hills, IL and Donna Mae (Gary) Moyers of Elgin; four grandchildren, Kim (Garry) Smith, Debra (Matt) Snow, Dennis (Cheri) Moyers and Scott (Catherine) Moyers; eight great-grandchildren, Jeni and Laura Smith, Olivia and Alexis Snow, Nick Leiseberg, Rachel, Emma and Jayson Moyers and one great-great granddaughter, Briannah Hernandez.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ida Weaber; her husband, Henry Gullett in 1974; her daughter, Carolyn Kay Gullett in infancy; her granddaughter, LaDonna Sue and her great-granddaughter, Suzanne Gwen.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2005, at 11:00 A.M. in the Eddyville Methodist Church, Eddyville, IL. Burial will follow in the New Liberty cemetery.
Visitation will be on Friday from 5 to 9 P.M. with Eastern Star rites, in the Aly Funeral Home, Eddyville, IL. Omission of flowers is requested, with memorials made to Oak Crest Residence, 204 S. State St., Elgin, IL 60123 or Eddyville Methodist Church, Eddyville, IL 62928, or the Eddyville Order of the Eastern Star, Eddyville, IL 62928.
