Susan C. Wiemer (Nee Yarde)
Susan C. Wiemer (Nee Yarde), 41, of Algonquin, passed away Saturday April 10, 2004 suddenly in Algonquin. She was born on August 10, 1962 in Monmouth, IL and was the daughter of Robert and Marilyn (Blick) Yarde. She graduated from Bradley University, Peoria, IL. and received a BS in Accounting. Susan had worked as an Accountant in the Chicagoland area for 20 years.
She was a very active Member of the Messiah Lutheran Church of Elgin.
Survived by - Her Parents of Monmouth, IL; Her loving Husband - Robert Wiemer of Algonquin; 1 - Sister - Lynn Yarde of Woodridge, IL; 1 - Brother - Craig (Kelly) Yarde of Galesburg, IL; 1 - Niece and 1 - Nephew.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:30 A.M. in the Messiah Lutheran Church, Elgin, with Rev. Patty Hewitt officiating. Burial will be in Fair View cemetery, Dekalb, IL. Visitation will be held on Wednesday in the Laird Funeral Home. 120 S. Third St., West Dundee, IL., 60118 from 5-8:00 P.M. and on Thursday in the church from 10:30 A.M. until the time of services. Memorials may be made to the Messiah Lutheran Church of the American Diabetes Association.
Rose Mary Wilharm
Rose Mary Wilharm, 74, of Poplar Grove, died peacefully at home on April 10, 2004 after a long and courageous battle against cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family, including her beloved husband of 55 years, Ginther, and her children and grandchildren.
Born in Chicago on August 31, 1929, Rose Mary moved with her husband to a dairy farm in Elgin, where they raised their five children to appreciate the gifts of nature. An avid gardener, Rose Mary was also a graceful dancer who especially enjoyed the Big Band sounds of the 1940's. Her quiet and kind nature touched many hearts and she was treasured by her family and many friends.
Besides her husband, Rose Mary is survived by her children, Gregory (Madelynn) Wilharm, Deborah Sievers, Gary (Karla) Wilharm, Karen (Ron) Lee, and Glenn (June) Wilharm; her grandchildren, Lisa (Darin) Hood, Gary Wilharm, Amber Lee, Carl and Stephanie Sievers, Nolan and Micaela Wilharm; her brother, James (Susan) Yonjof.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph and Rosemary (Reiser) Yonjof; and her sisters, Anne Martin and Joane Waage.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 12 and before the service on Tuesday at the Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Funeral Home, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL 61008. Services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 13, with Pastor Harold Ross officiating. Burial at Lakewood Memorial Park in Elgin will be private.

Theron Arlus Homuth, 82 , born October 13, 1922, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, March 12, 2005. A casual gathering for family and friends will be held in the Parlor of the Salem Methodist Church, 115 W. Lincoln, Barrington, IL on Saturday, April 16 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm in rememberance of "Homer".

Ramiro Olvera, age 80 of Carpentersville, formerly of Elgin, died April 13.
He is survived by his son, Ramiro (Sandra); grandfather of Kathy and Ramiro.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria.
He was an employee of I.T.W. Shakeproof of Elgin where he was employed for 20 years before his retirement in 1958.

Gertie Belle Overstreet
Gertie Belle Overstreet, 98, of Elgin, went home to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, April 11, 2005 at St. Alexius Medical Center, Hoffman Estates. She was born October 7, 1906 in Johnson County, IL, the daughter of Basco and Mable Wolover Ollis. She had been a resident of Elgin for many years and had been employed by Shakeproof Division of Illinois Tool Works for 20 years before retiring.
She attended the Free Will Baptist Church in Elgin.
Surviving are her son, James (Lois) Overstreet of Sussex, WI; step-daughter, Dorothy Ryburn of Elgin; two grandchildren, Linda and Lary (Maribeth) Overstreet; six great-grandchildren, Erin, Delvin, Megan, Kristen, Ryan and Lauren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lawerence in 1953; one sister, Myrtle Ollis; two brothers, Ray and James Ollis; 1 step-granddaughter, Connie Sue Ryburn; and two sister-in-laws, Mary and Gladys Ollis.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 16, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at McKinney Chapel cemetery, Goreville, IL with Rev. Mike Hood officiating. There will be no visitation.

Robert J. Peters
Robert J. Peters, 81 of Elgin passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at Sherman West Court, Elgin. He was born February 6, 1924 in Algonquin the son of Edwin and Kathryn Peters. He had been a resident of Elgin for many years and a graduate of Dundee High School in 1942. He had been employed by Ludwig Dairy in Elgin as a milkman before retiring. He was a Veteran of the W.W.II Serving in the U.S. Army.
'Surviving are a sister, Camilla Haderer of Dundee; nephews, Edwin and Norman (Janet) Peters, Jim Haderer; and niece, Bonnie (Ken) Gerrans; sister-in-law, Evelyn Peters of Winfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Edwin F. Peters in 1991 and a brother in law, Leo Haderer.
Private graveside services will be held at Evergreen cemetery, Barrington. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the charity of ones choice.

Hazel Stephenson
Hazel Stephenson, 84, Sebring, FL, formerly of Elgin and St. Charles, passed away April 10, 2005.
She is survived by her husband, William Stephenson; five sons, William Jr. (Peg) and Dick of Florida, Jeff (Kathe) of Union, Tom (Sandi) of West Chicago, and Steve of Wisconsin; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m., April 23 at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring, FL.

Dr. Curtis Ray Sunderlage
Dr. Curtis Ray Sunderlage, 36, of Elgin passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 10, 2005.
He was born on Father's Day, June 16, 1968 in St. Louis, MO, the son of Dr. Jon A. and Patricia L. (Wagner) Sunderlage. Curt was a 1986 graduate of Larkin High School, Elgin Community College and graduated with his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Logan College of Chiropractic, Chesterfield, (St. Louis) MO in December 2000. Curt was joining his father and sister in their Elgin acupuncture and chiropractic practice. He was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church of North Plato. Curt married
Amanda M. Stuckemeyer at St. Peter's on September 5, 2004.
Surviving are his wife, Amanda; his parents of West Dundee; his sister, Dr. Joy L. Sunderlage of Elgin and her fiance, Brian Luebbering of Batavia; his father and mother-in-law, Ray and Barbara Stuckemeyer of Hampshire; a sister-in-law, Anna Stuckemeyer of Hampshire; aunts, uncles, cousins and a multitude of friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edmund and Dora Sunderlage and Raymond and Hazel Wagner; his aunt and uncle, Joan (Sunderlage) and Fred Zierer; and his cousin, Darren Sunderlage.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Friday, April 15, 2005 at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 43W301 Plank Road in North Plato with Rev. Robert Degner officiating. Burial will be in the Hampshire Center cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 PM Thursday, at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church and on Friday prior to services from 10 to 11 AM.
Memorials may be made to St. Peter's for snowplowing and parking lot maintenance.

Jeffrey J. Weides, 38, of Elgin died Friday, April 13, 2001 in Elgin.
He was born July 18, 1962 in Springfield, IL.
He had been a resident of Elgin most of his life. He was the bar Manager for J. B.'s Pub in Elgin.
Surviving are a daughter, Delaney Weides of Elgin; a son, Keegan Weides of Elgin; the children's mother, Patty Jones of Elgin; his mother, Susanna Orr of Elgin; his father and step mother, Robert (Sharon) Weides of Bartlett, IL; two sisters, Cyndie (Roy) Eichinger of Roselle, IL and Sue (Bob) Dahl of Hoffman Estates, IL; a brother, Joe (Lisa) Miles of Des Plaines, IL; a brother, Joe (Lisa) Miles of Des Plaines, IL; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 11:30 AM in the Laird Funeral Home in Elgin with Rev. Thomas Severson officiating. Burial will be private.
Friends may call in the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 9 PM.

Imogene L. Thompson
Imogene L. Thompson, 80, of South Elgin, formerly of Hampshire, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2001 at Sherman Hospital in Elgin.
She was born June 26, 1920 in Ava, Illinois, the daughter of John and Agnes (Dietz) Doetch.
Imogene married
John A. Thompson on December 3, 1938 in Ava. They moved to Hampshire in 1943 where they farmed until 1978. Mrs. Thompson retired from Motorola and had also worked at Automatic Electric in Genoa. She was a member of the Twin Oaks Baptist Church in Elgin.
Surviving are six children, David (Gloria) Thompson of Casa Grande, AZ, Ted (Carolyn) Thompson of Chester, SC, Marjorie (Wendell) Schiesher of Dexter, MN, Daniel (Ann) Thompson of Austin, TX, Roy (Katie) Thompson of Hampshire, and Norman (Kate) Thompson of Elgin; 22 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; six sisters; and two brothers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John in 1990; four infant sons, and three brothers.
Memorial Services will be held at 5 PM Thursday, April 19, at the Twin Oaks Baptist Church on Randall Rd, Elgin with the Rev. Roy Hazelrig officiating.
There will be no visitation.
Burial will be in Pleasant Hill cemetery in Ava, IL.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be directed to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
