Bonnie Sue Little, age 64, of St. Charles, died May 23, 2004 at her home.
She was born June 29, 1939 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of John and Susanna Lee (Thompson) Briscoe.
She was a Secretary for Wenco Manufacturing Company, Inc. A company which she and her husband James own.
She is survived by her husband, James Elmer; one daughter, Peggy Sue Thurow of St. Charles; three grandchildren, Jason Jenkins of Elgin, Travis James Thurow of St. Charles, and Jeremy Allen Thurow of St. Charles; one great-grandchild, Branden Scott Jenkins of Elgin; four brothers, William L. Briscoe of Bloomfield, IN, Robert E. Briscoe of Hampshire, Jack W. Briscoe of Inverness, FL, and Daniel A. Briscoe of St. Petersburg, FL; one sister, Judy Ann Mioduchoski of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jerry D. Briscoe.
Funeral services and burial were held in Bloomfield, Indiana. Robert "Bob" Mack
Cherry Valley, IL Robert "Bob" Mack of Rockford died June 6, 2004 at his home.
Born March 5, 1938 in Slatington, PA to Norman and LaRue (France) Mack. married Roberta O'Neill, December 2, 1976. Served as a Paratrooper in Germany, 1957 until 1959. Member of the Moose Lodge #799, Mason's 32, Scottich Rites and Shiners.
Survivors include wife; son, Steven Mack of Rockford; brother, Donald Mack of PA and nephews, David, Donald and Daniel.
Predeceased by parents and daughter, Candace in December 1979.

Marguerite F. Neukom
Marguerite F. Neukom, 66 of Elgin, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2004 in Sherman Hospital, Elgin. She was born on November 24, 1937 in Elgin and was the daughter of Harold and Veronica Horne.
Marguerite had been a resident of Elgin all of her life, and had been employed by Eagle Foods Bakery and the Grand Victoria, prior to her retirement. A loving wife and a loving mother of their children is nearly all a man needs. Marge was tops in both cases. She was an extraordinary woman.
Marge enjoyed doing everything for her family, but her most beautiful gift was her art of listening, consoling, smiling, and laughing over the ups and downs we all have in our everyday lives. She will continue watching over friends and family, now from on high.
Survivors include her husband, John; two sons, Jay (Sharon) of Elgin and Jeff R. of Crystal Lake, IL; four grandchildren, Nicholas, Rachel, Kassondra and Kohlton; her mother of Elgin; one sister, Harriette Cutting of Neoga, IL; and one brother, Harold (Billy Jean) Horne of Mahtomedi, MN.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. in the Laird Funeral Home, Elgin. Burial will be private. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
Julie Ann Armstrong (nee Goll)
A memorial service was held for Julie Armstrong, 46, on May 30, 2001 in Vancouver, WA, her home since 1976.
Julie went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 19, 2001, after a long courageous fight with a brain tumor.
Survivors include her husband,Richard, whom she married
in 1974; three sons, Zachary (Holly), Caleb (Danae), and Adam; and her granddaughter Lily, all of Vancouver area; her mother, Toni Goll of Crystal Lake; three brothers, Marland (Marlys) Goll of Crystal Lake, Jeff (Sue) Goll of Elgin, and Jamison Goll of Milwaukee, WI.
Julie was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Rose Goll and Mae Thompson; and her father, Murrell Goll.
Internment is in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Vancouver.

Arnold Christian
Arnold Christian, 86, of Elgin died Wednesday, June 6, 2001 in Rosewood Care Center in Elgin.
He was born Jan. 25, 1915 in Mayville, Wis., the son of Alfred T. and Alma Christian.
He had been a resident of Elgin since 1943 and had been employed by the Plating Co. in Genoa before retiring. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Algonquin.
Survivors include two sisters, Ruth (Morris) Hintt of Elgin and Norma Petersen of Carol Stream; three brothers, Walter (Ruth) Christian of Beloit, Wis., Martin (Phyllis) Christian and Alfred E. (Dorothy) Christian, both of Algonquin; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia in 1982; and a brother, Gerhard Christian.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Saturday in the Laird Funeral Home, Elgin, the Rev. Rollin F. Kuznik officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park, Elgin.
Friends may call in the funeral home on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church of Algonquin building fund.
Leonard H. Helper
Leonard H. Helper, 86, of Elgin, died Wednesday, June 6, 2001 in Sherman Hospital, Elgin.
He was born April 14, 1915 in South Elgin, the son of Gustav and Anna (nee Jacobsen) Helper.
He had served in the Army during WW II, was confirmed at and a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church; member of Elgin Moose Lodge #799; the Elgin Aerie Eagles #1047; Elgin High School Booster Club, where he had served as theirstatistician for both the football andbasketball teams in the years 1973-1993.
Survivors include his son, Donald (Kim) Helper of Genoa, Wis.; two daughters, Karen (Greg) Stark and Kathy (Don) Lawrence, both of Crystal Lake; his sister, Louise Steinway of Elgin; and 10 grandchildren, Adam, Jason and Kristen Stark, Erika and Jonathan Lawrence, Heather and Lauren Belanus, and Richard,Joseph and Quinton Helper.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Helena Louise (nee Gerke) Helper, whom he married
on Feb. 18, 1950 and who preceded him on April 17, 1985; and infant twins, a son, Richard and a daughter, Judith.
Funeral Services will be 1 p.m., Monday, June 11, 2001 in Wait Ross Allanson Elgin Chapel, the Rev. Robert Lindstrom of Bethany Lutheran Church, Crystal Lake officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park, Elgin.
Visitation will be 3-9 p.m., Saturday in the chapel and Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Elgin High School Booster Club or the Anderson Animal Shelter.
Dolena A. "Dolly" Jones
Dolena A. "Dolly" Jones, 94, of Elgin, died Wednesday, June 6, 2001 in her home.
She was born Oct. 24, 1906 in Owensboro, Ky., the daughter of Benjamin and Hattie (nee Lanham) Bowlds.
She had been employed for many years by Woodruff and Edwards Foundry. She was a member of Elgin Women of Moose #610.
Survivors include two sons, John A. of Elgin and Robert L. of Manteno, Ill.; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a niece, Mary Crighton; and other nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton B. Jones, whom she married
in 1930 and who preceded her in 1965; and a dear friend, Les Oman.
Funeral Services and burial will be private on Monday, June 11, 2001 at Lakewood Memorial Park, Elgin, the Rev. Thomas O'Connor of St. Paul's United Church of Christ officiating.
Visitation will be 2-6 p.m., Sunday in the Wait Ross Allanson Elgin Chapel.
Marion T. "Pete" Pryor
Marion T. "Pete" Pryor, 69, a two year resident of Capron, IL, coming from Carpentersville, IL, died Friday, June 8, 2001 in the Northern Illinois Medical Center in McHenry, IL following a short illness.
He was born November 26, 1931 in Sunflower County, Mississippi, the son of Robert and Zona Turner Pryor.
He married
Detta McClanahan September 14, 1976 in Chicago, IL. He was a maintenance engineer for the Pavilion Apartments in Chicago for ten years retiring in 1994. He was '1999' Kane County Republican Precinct Committeeman of the Year. He was also a member of the Dundee Township Republican Party and a member of the Capron Harvest.
He is survived by his wife, Detta of Capron; his mother, Zona Pryor of Kalamazoo, Michigan; four sons, Pete (Jan) Pryor and Scott (Danielle) Pryor both of Chicago, William (Marsha) Pryor of Elk Grove Village, John Haller of Woodstock; two daughters, Patricia (Chris) Richter-Belvidere and Teri (Frank) Stauersboll of Poplar Grove, IL; a brother, Donald (Kay) Pryor of Stevens Point, Wis; a sister, Sandra (Michael) Drucker of Kalamazoo, Mich; 11 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by father; and a sister, Marie Pryor.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, June 12, 2001 in Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Funeral Home, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL with K.C. Crino of the Capron Harvest officiating. Burial will be in Windridge Memorial Park, Cary, IL.
Friends may call Monday from 6 to 8 PM in the Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Funeral Home where a memorial is established for the Illinois Baptist Children's Home in Carmi, Illinois.
Evelyn D. Alston
Evelyn D. Alston, 37, of Harvey, IL passed away Monday, May 27, 2002 at Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey.
She was born March 30, 1965 to Bernice Talley and Monroe Sharp.
She graduated from Elgin High School in 1983, and then attended and graduated from Canella Beauty School. She was currently a student at South Suburban College in Harvey.
Survivors include her mother and father, Bernice and Charles Johnson of Elgin; her husband, David; two daughters, BriAnn Sharp and Brizhe Alston of Harvey; one sister, Yulonda Johnson of Elgin; two nieces, Elandra Dean and Emari Johnson of Elgin; also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, May 31 at True Vine Church in Dixmoor. Burial was held at Homewood Memorial Garden in Homewood, IL

Lydia A. Kollman
Lydia A. Kollman, 86, of Elgin passed away June 6, 2002 at Sherman Hospital. Born February 13, 1916 in Carpentersville, IL, the daughter of Herman and Martha Bruhn Kalsow. She was a graduate of Immanual Lutheran School and Dundee High School. She was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Elgin and was active in the Ladies Aid, married Couples, Mission Society, and the Cub Scouts. She was also a member of the 50+ Club in Dundee, IL. She had been employed at the Elgin Watch Factory as well as cooking teacher at St. John's Lutheran School. She retired from the Sears Roebuck Company.
She is survived by her husband, Frank Kollman, Jr., whom she married
January 24, 1948; her children, Carol (Lawrence) Alborn and Louis Zimmerman; her grandchildren, Martha (Alan) Weix, Jay (Susan) Alborn, Michael (Renee) Alborn, Scott and Mark Alborn, David (Jane) Alborn and Matthew (Bonny) Alborn; great-grandchildren, Nathan and Eric Weix, Elijah, Jacob, Carrie, Rebecca, Alexandria, Josephine, Michael Jr., Christopher and Nicholas Alborn; her brother, Arnold (Erma) Kalsow and several nieces and nephews; also her care giver, Helena Peczalski.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Dorothea Duvel and one great-grand daughter.
Funeral services Monday, June 10, 2002 at 10:00 A.M. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Elgin. Rev. Herman Christiansen will officiate.
