Doris Mae Licht
Doris Mae Licht, 78, of Rockford, formerly of South Elgin died Friday, June 8, 2001 in her Rockford residence.
She was born May 10, 1923, the daughter of Harry and Edith Mae Westcott in Burlington, Ill.
She was a retired Registered Nurse working for private residence after graduating from Sherman Hospital in 1945. She was a 52 year member of Order of Eastern Star Local Chapter 265 of Batavia. Doris spent many of her earlier years working for Doctors offices in Bartlett.
Survivors include daughters, Bonnie (Jack) Dykhouse of Colleyville, Texas, Marcia (John) Brinemann of Spokane, Wash., Lane (George) Catanzaro of Burbank, Ill., Monica (John) Latko of Wayne and Randa (Steven) Wilson of Rockford; a son, Jeffrey Sperry of South Elgin; fond grandmother of 12; a brother, Gordon (Anna) Westcott of Denver, Colo.; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Jens Damberg; and her husband, Arthur Licht.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Monday at Windridge Memorial Park Chapel, 7014 S. Rawson Bridge Rd., Cary. Entombment to follow.
Visitation will be 12 noon until the time of services in the chapel.

Patricia A. Peterson
Patricia A. Peterson, 61, of Huntley, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2002 at Provena St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin.
She was born March 6, 1941 in Elgin, the daughter of LeRoy and Irene (Kolberg) Wirsing.
She was a 1959 graduate of Hampshire High School. Pat married
Wayne A. Peterson on June 5, 1965 in Harmony. Mrs. Peterson retired in June 2001 after 25 years of service to School District #158 of Huntley. She was a longtime member of the First Congregational Church of Huntley and the Women of the Moose, Belvidere Lodge #295.
Surviving are three children, Jeffrey Peterson of Huntley, Jodie (Lynn) Grant of Cary and Jay Peterson of Kenosha, WI; her parents, LeRoy and Irene Wirsing of Huntley; and two grandchildren, Kevin and Matthew Grant.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne on November 16, 2001.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, June 12 at the First Congregational Church, 11628 E. Main St., Huntley with Dr. Walter I Thyng officiating. Burial will be in the Huntley cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 PM Tuesday at the James A. O'Connor Funeral Home, 11603 E. Main St., Huntley.
Memorial contributions in her name may be directed to the First Congregational Church of Huntley.
Ella Skokowski
Ella Skokowski, 86, of Elk Grove Village, IL passed away Friday, June 7, 2002 in Rosewood Care Center, Elgin.
She was born September 25, 1915 in Chicago, IL.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Thelma (Raymond) Pagnoni of Addison, IL; eight grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond Skokowski in 1978; her son, Mike Skokowski; and daughter, Roberta Thomas.
Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2002 in the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2700 W. Highland Ave, Elgin, IL at 10 AM. Burial will be private.

Delvine Adams
Delvine Adams, 86 of Elgin passed away Saturday, June 7, 2003 in Sherman West Court. She was born May 29, 1917 in Elgin and was the daughter of George and Verna Kuebl. She had been a resident of Elgin most of her life. She had been secretary of the First United Methodist Church in Elgin from 1935 to 1947.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Elgin and a member of Ladies of the Elks.
She is survived by her husband, Gordon to whom she was married
to on October 5, 1940; one daughter, Jeanne (Jeff) McCoy of Crossville, Tennesse; one son, Steve (DeDe) Adams of Elgin; six grandchildren, Jamie (Todd) Puffpaff, Tricia (Gerald) Perrine, Craig (Elisabeth) McCoy, Philip and Brooke Adams, and Josh MacKinney; six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Doris Aeschlimann.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin with Rev. Larry Pickens officiating. Burial will be private. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:00 noon until time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the First United Methodist Church or the the Atrium apartments and Oak Crest Residene, 204 S. State St., Elgin 60123.
Maurice Neil Angle
Maurice Neil Angle, 71, of Huntley, formerly of Elgin passed away Saturday, June 7, 2003 in Sherman Hospital. He was born November 14, 1931 in Waterford, Ohio and was the son of E. Ray and Effie Angle. He had been a resident of the Elgin area since 1988. He was a teacher in the Upper Arlington, Ohio school district for 28 years before retiring. He was a veteran, having served in the Navy.
He was a member of the Highland Ave. Church of the Brethern in Elgin.
He is survived by two sons, John (Kathy) Angle of Streamwood and David (Karen) Angle of Cary, IL; eight grandchildren, Christy, Jeff, Kimberly, Corinne, Kaylee, Christina, Hannah, and Rebekah; his fiancee, Ann Ross.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Bertie Mae Angle on December 13, 2002.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Highland Ave. Church of the Brethren with Rev. Joel Kline officiating. Burial will be private. Visitation will be in the Church on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Highland Ave. Church of the Brethren. Laird Funeral Home is in charge of service.
Marvin "Bill" Bonnom
Marvin "Bill" Bonnom, 76, of Lexington, NC passed away Saturday, June 7, 2003 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born May 30, 1927 in Arcola, IL to Margaret and William Bonnom, both deceased. He served in the U.S. Navy in World War II and when he returned he started working on the New York Central Railroad. After ten years, he moved to the Milwaukee Railroad where he worked in all phases of finance with his last job being Treasurer of the Milwaukee Railroad. Bill retired at age 58 and he and Marian retired to North Carolina.
Bill was a loving husband, father and grandfather and a wonderful friend to many. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and served his church in many capacities whenever needed. He was a very active man who loved sports, especially golf, and all outdoor activities.

Marian Joan Myers of Charleston, IL in 1948. She survives along with three children, Randy of Denver, CO, Rick of Elgin, IL and Julie (Jeff) Kester of Deerfield, IL. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Allie of Pekin, ILk and Hank, Dam and Virginia of Deerfield, IL. He also had two surviving sisters, Dorothy Sinclair of Kansas, IL and Helen Schneider of Mattoon, IL.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 PM at Davidson Funeral Home, 24 East Third St, Lexington. There will be a family interment in the Church Columbarium on Thursday followed by a Memorial Service at 11 AM in the church sanctuary.

Loretta H. Schumacher, 86, of rural Maple Park, IL passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2003 at Rosewood Care Center, Elgin, where she had made her home in recent months. After many battles with declining health, Loretta was released in peace to the Heavenly home. Arrangements are being completed at Conley Funeral Home, Elburn 1-800-8-CONLEY.
Una E. Benson
Una E. Benson, age 85, of Venora, Wisconsin, formerly Algonquin, died on Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at the Four Winds Manor, Venora, Wisconsin. She was born on August 31, 1918 in Plymouth, Wisconsin, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Steele.
Mrs. Benson was a resident of Elgin, Illinois for 25 years. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Elgin, Illinois.
Survivors include a son, Richard (Kristine) Benson of Algonquin, Illinois; a daughter, Sharon Whitehurst of Wausau, Wisconsin; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Russell Benson in January 1990; and a son, John (Carol) Benson.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.

Lawrence W. Dumproff "Larry"
Lawrence W. "Larry" Dumproff, 58, of St. Charles died Monday, June 7, 2004 at Delnor Hospital in Geneva. He was born January 21, 1946 in Elgin to Albert W. and Flora (nee Austin) Dumproff. He was an Air Force Veteran.
Lawrence is survived by his wife, Susan (nee Ace) Dumproff; his two daughters, Emily Lyn and Katie Ann of St. Charles; his two sisters, Alice (Bill) Sullivan of Mississippi and Kay (John) Siebler of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be on Friday, June 11, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at Hosanna Lutheran Church on Crane and Randall Roads in St. Charles. Rev. Barry Scott will officiate. Burial is Private. Visitation will be on Thursday in the Miller Funeral Home, West Dundee from 5-8 p.m. and in church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Memorials may be made to the family.
Paula M. (Wiedermann) Hodgson
Paula M. (Wiedermann) Hodgson, 57, of Naperville, died Saturday, June 5, 2004 at home after a long and courageous battle against Huntington's Disease.
An RN, she was born in Elgin, Illinois, and was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter T. Wiedemann and her brother, Charlie Wiedemann.
Paula is survived by her devoted husband of 30 years, Dave Hodgson, and she was a loving, caring mother to John, Kate, Sarah, and Emily Hodgson, also of Naperville. She was the sister of Jessie Wiedemann-Diaz of Ottumwa, Iowa and James and Joseph Wiedemann. She was an aunt to several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held Juen 27, 2004, at St. Luke's Presbyterian Church, 3910 Highland Ave., Downers Grove, IL at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her name be directed to The Huntington's Disease Society of America- Illinois Chapter, P.O. Thomas P. Keaty, Sr.
Thomas P. Keaty, Sr., 62, of Carpentersville died Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at Sherman Hospital in Elgin. He was born on April 28, 1942 in Chicago. He was the son of Terry and Alice (nee Witcher) Keaty. He was a resident of Carpentersville for the past 34 years.
Mr. Keaty was employed by School District #300 where he worked as Head Custodian at the deLacey Center Carpentersville. He was an active member of St. Monica Church in Carpentersville. He was a former Eucharistic Minister for 18 years and former many year Co-Ordinator of the Middle School C.C.D. Program.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Lenore A. (nee Panico) Keaty, whom he married
on June 15, 1963; their eight children, Thomas P., Jr. (Valerie) fo Crystal Lake, Patrick (Cheryl) of South Elgin, Tina (Steven) Roesslein of Carpentersville, Mary (David) Cotton of Genoa, Robert (Pamela) of Huntley, Steven of Mount Prospect, Kathleen of Carpentersville, and Elizabeth of Carpentersville; thirteen grandchildren, Amanda, Anthony, Olivia, Tommy, Juliana, Nicholas, Billy, Patrick, Chloe, Natalie, Camille, Benjamin, and Alexander; his brother, Richard; his sisters, Susan (Steven) Waters, Mary (Richard Fowler) Keaty and Janet (Dan) Deutmeyer.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be on Saturday at 8:45 p.m. in the Miller Funeral Home, West Dundee to St. Monica Church, Carpentersville for Mass at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow in the Dundee Twp.
