Lorraine F. Willecke
Lorraine F. Willecke, 76, of Hampshire died Monday, June 14, 2004 at St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin.
She was born on July 13, 1927 in Chicago. She married
George Willecke on October 2, 1948 and moved to Lake in the Hills in 1953. She served as village clerk for Lake in the Hills and was also secretary for the court house in Algonquin. She worked at the Anchor Lounge in Algonquin prior to it becoming Port Edward and assisted Ed Wolowiec in making it become the business it is today. She retired from Port Edward in 1995. From there on, she resided with her daughter and her family in Hampshire.
Survivors include one brother, Don VanVlierbergen of Elgin, IL; one sister, (Babe) Kathryn (Frank) Wadda of Brookfield, IL; one daughter, Janice (Charles) Booth of Hampshire; two grandchildren, Mike Booth and Christy Booth, both of Hampshire; three great-grandchildren, Alexzandria and Johnathan of Carpentersville and Charlie of Missouri; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Willecke; her father, Joseph VanVlierbergen; her mother, Ruth VanVlierbergen; and her brother, Joseph "Sonny" VanVlierbergen.
Memorial visitation will be Thursday, June 17, 2004 from 4-9 p.m. at Willow Funeral Home, 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., Algonquin, IL.
Naomi F. Seyller (Nee Moyer)
Naomi F. Seyller, age 85, passed away June 14, 2001 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. She was born April 19, 1916 to Egar (Ted) and Lucy Moyer.
She was a former member of VFW Auxiliary #5915 of Carpentersville and also a former member of the Moose Women 610 Lodge of Elgin.
She is survived by four sons, Wayne Liedberg of Salt Lake City, Utah, James Liedberg of Salt Lake City, Utah, Roger Seyller of Charleston, SC, and Phillip (Wendy) Seyller of Carpentersville; two brothers, Dick of Cheyenne, Wyoming and John Moyer of Oswego, IL; one sister, Frances Schmitt of Yorkville, IL; five grandchildren, Brittany Seyller, Laraul, Dawn, Heidi and Steve Liedberg; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard J. Seyller, whom she married
October 19, 1946 in Elgin; one brother, Sheldon Moyer and one sister, Daisy Hunt and parents.
Funeral Monday, June 18, 2001 with Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Algonquin, IL. Burial will be at River Valley Memorial Park in West Dundee. Visitation Sunday, June 17, 5-9 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to charities of choice.

Carl Emil Oppenheim
Mr. Carl Emil Oppenheim, 87, of West Dundee, IL, died Monday, June 10, 2002 at Manor Care in Pinehurst, NC.
Mr. Oppenheim was born in Odense, Denmark on April 30, 1915. He was employed at Harrington & King Perforations in Chicago until 1998. He was a member of First Congregational Church of Dundee, the Dairymens, Elgin Country Club, and the Union League Club.
He is survived by a daughter, Karen Jacobi of Pinehurst; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service to celebrate the lives of Carl and his wife, Elinor Bolas Oppenheim, who preceded him in death on May 30, 2002, will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 22, 2002 at the First Congregational Church of Dundee.

Pamela K. Baker
Pamela K. Baker, 45 of Burlington passed away Sunday, June 15, 2003 at Loyola Medical Center, Maywood. She was born June 6, 1958 in Elgin, the daughter of Donald and Karen Irps Pelletier. She had been a resident of the Elgin area all her life. She was a graduate of Elgin High School, Class of 1976, Elgin Community College and Northern Illinois University. She was a Registered Nurse and had been employed by ENA Emergency Nurses Association, Sherman Hospital, Elgin and Rockford Memorial Hospital. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Elgin and loved antiqueing.
Surviving are her husband, Mike Baker whom she married
on May 17, 1980; a daughter, Jennifer Baker of Burlington; her parents, Donald and Karen Pelletier of South Padre Island, Texas; a sister, Megan Seifert of West Dundee; two brothers, Brent (Mary) Pelletier of Flower Mound, Texas and Todd Pelletier of Flower Mound, Texas; nephews and niece, Brandon Pelletier, Chelsea Pelletier, Mason Seifert, David and Chris Majchrowicz; a sister-in-law, Marge (Mike) Majchrowicz of Eagle River, Alaska; mother-in-law, Martha Baker of Huntley.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her father-in-law, Robert Baker.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 18, 2003 at 11 AM at Laird Funeral Home, Elgin with Rev. Roger Pollock officiating. Burial will be private. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4 PM to 9 PM and Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of services in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Jennifer Baker Education Fund.
John Robert Miller
John Robert Miller, 63, of Elgin, IL passed away Friday, June 13, 2003 at his home.
He was born May 15, 1940 in Moline, IL to C. Robert and Mary Evalene Miller.
He was a 1958 graduate of United Township High School of Moline, IL. He served in the U. S. Army for three years. He was employed at the Illinois Fairplan Association in Chicago for 31 years. He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church of Elgin for 21 years and an original member of Cornerstone Church since it's beginning. He was an active member of his church choir.
Survivors include his wife, Roberta Lynne Simens Miller; his daughter, Mary (Patrick) Smith of Ft. Leavenworth, KS; son, Jason Miller of DeKalb, IL; granddaughters, Riley and Caeley Smith; brother, Roger (Christine) Miller of Naples, FL; two nephews; and a niece.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services Thursday, June 19, 2003 at 11 AM in the Cornerstone Church, 41W170 Russell Rd., Plato Center, IL with Pastor Paul Meyers officiating.
Calling hour will be from 10 AM until time of services at the church on Thursday.

Nicholas M. Povick
Nicholas M. Povick, 47 of Elgin died Friday, June 13. He was born October 17, 1955 in Buena Park, CA, the son of Jacque and Therese (nee Jeannie) Povick.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene; one daughter, Nina Povick of Carol Stream; one son, Michael (Nina) Povick; four sisters; three brothers; his mother, Therese of SC.
He is preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 18 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Madison Funeral Home.

Lillian M. Schneider
Lillian M. Schneider, 85 of Elgin passed away Sunday, June 15 at Provena St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin after a long illness. She was born November 14, 1917 in Rockford and was the daughter of Nunzio and Rose (St. Angel) Ingrassia.
She graduated from Muldoon High School in Rockford in 1935. She attended Northern Illinois State Teachers College in DeKalb, IL and graduated in 1937. She taught school for 29 years; her last 22 years were for District U46 in Elgin.
She was a charter member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Elgin, a member of the Elgin Women's Club, a member of three bridge clubs, a member of the Retired Teachers Association, and a member of a Parkinson Support Group in Elgin. She enjoyed teaching, traveling, reading and playing bridge.
Surviving are her husband, Robert J. Schneider to whom she was married
on January 12, 1947 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Rockford; one son, Tim Schneider of St. Charles, Missouri; one daughter, Rose (Gary) Young of Freeport, IL; four grandchildren, Tim (Terrilyn) Schneider of St. Charles, MO, Reyna (Gary) Rothschild of Gerald, MO, Joel and Jacob Young of Freeport, IL; one great-grandchild, Cole of Gerald, MO; two sisters, Vita (Joe) Monti of Rockford, IL, Carmella (Leroy) Clark of Rockford, IL; one brother, John Ingrassia of Rockford, IL; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Lt. Colonel Michael Ingrassia and Reginold Ingrassia.
Funeral services Thursday at 10:30 AM in Laird Funeral Home, Elgin to St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 215 Thomas More Drive, Elgin for Mass at 11 AM. Burial will be at 3:00 PM on Thursday at Calvary cemetery, Rockford.
Visitation will be on Wednesday in the Laird Funeral Home, 310 State St., Elgin from 5 PM to 8 PM and then on Thursday at the funeral home from 10 AM until the time of services. Clarence V. Anderson
Clarence V. Anderson, 83, of Elgin, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2004 in Provena St. Joseph Hospital. He was born August 6, 1920 in Huntley, IL and was the son of Nels F. and Esther Anderson. He was a veteran of World War II and served with the 790 3rd Military Police "Red Ball Route" from Normandy to Antwerp Belgium.
Member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church where he served as an usher for many years and served on the church council. Member of the American Legion Post #57 of Elgin, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge # 799 of Elgin. He was the director of Mac/Jac, and was a former member of Elgin Jaycees and Elgin Kiwanis Clubs.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy (Kirsch) Anderson; two daughters, Cheryl (Arthur Harris) Anderson of Bannockburn, IL and Pat (Kenneth) Hamilton of South Elgin; three grandchildren, Sean (Laurie) Hamilton, Shannon (Scott) Berndt and Shane (Sarah) Hamilton; two great grandchildren, Tyler and Taylor Hamilton; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Florence Bartelt.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Olin Sletto officiating. Interment will be private. Visitation will be in the church on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until time of services. Laird Funeral Home is in charge of services. Memorials may be given to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
Stephen J. Dallesasse
Stephen J. Dallesasse, age 54, of Elgin, formerly of St. Charles, died Tuesday June 15, 2004 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago.
He was born April 30, 1950 in St. Charles, IL.
He graduated in 1968 from St. Charles High School where he had lettered four years straight in Football. After high school he attended Madison Area Technical College in Madison, Wisc., he also attended University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point. The most important part of Steve's life was his love for his family and friends. He loved life and was courageous in his fight against cancer. He was employed by Coca Cola Bottling Company of Chicago for 30 years as a Facility Manager. He was a member of the Aurora and St. Charles Sportsmans Club.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Susan. Two children, Nathan and Amanda, both of Elgin. His parents, Rudolph & Valora Dallesasse of St. Charles. One brother, John (Kathy) Dallesasse of Geneva. Three sisters, Joann Dunlap of Denver, Colorado, Susan (William) Scholz of Oregon, IL, Kathleen (William) Kaprelian of St. Charles. Thirteen nieces and nephews. Two grand nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the Yurs Funeral Home St. Charles. Dr. Ronald Wanless officiating. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8:00 P.M. M. Estelle Hendricks, 94, of Elgin passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2004 in Oak Crest Residence. She was born October 17, 1909 in Anna, IL and was the daughter of Harry and Ethel Hess. She had been a resident of Elgin since 1940 and had been employed as a secretary at Sherman Hospital before retiring.
Surviving are two sons, Jon (Virginia) Hendricks of South Elgin and Richard (Mary Ann) Hendricks of South Elgin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Hendricks; one sister, Margaret Hess.
Graveside services will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. in River Valley Memorial Gardens, West Dundee. There will be no visitation. Laird Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Oak Crest Residence.
