Michelle A. "Missy" Coquillard
Michelle A. "Missy" Coquillard, 35, of Streamwood, formerly of Elgin, passed away March 16, 2005 in her home. She was born on June 27, 1969 in DesPlaines, IL. Michelle graduated from Larkin High School in 1987. She was employed with SBC in Oak Park, IL.
Member of the Highland Ave. Church of the Brethern.
Survivors include her parents, Patricia and Victor Kressin of Elgin; her brothers, Chris (Lenise) Morecraft, Jeff (Beth) Kressin, and Gerald Coquillard; her sisters, Pam Laidlaw, Kymberli (Bruce) Wiedenfeld, Kristi (Robert) McCarty; her twin, Marcy Coquillard, Donna Falbo, and Jenni (John) Nozka; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the Highland Ave. Church of the Brethern, 783 W. Highland Ave., Elgin, IL 60123. Burial will be private. Visitation will be on Sunday in the church from 3-8:00 p.m. A Memorial Fund will be set up in her name at the church. Laird Funeral Home, Elgin, is in charge of arrangements.
John D. Eggert
John D. Eggert, 57, of Carpentersville died Thursday, March 17, 2005 at his home. He was born on January 1, 1948 in Elgin, IL. He was the son of Walter A. and Daris G. (nee Hopf) Eggert. John was a life long resident of the Dundee area. He was a 1966 graduate of Dundee High School. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Upon returning home from the service, John attended and graduated from George Williams College (Aurora University) where he earned his degree in Social Work. Currently, he was a self-employed Building Contractor. He was a member of Carpentersville VFW# 5915.
He is survived by his wife of 10 years; Kathleen "Kathy" Coulson Eggert. They married
on September 23, 1994. His sister; Janice (Clete) Starr of Huntley and his brother; James (Chong) Eggert of Newport News, Virginia. Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Miller Funeral Home, West Dundee. Burial will follow in the Dundee Twp. East cemetery, East Dundee. Visitation will be held on Monday from 5-8 p.m. in the funeral home. Please omit flowers, memorials may be made to either the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church LEGACY FUND or the American Cancer Society.
Ann G. Halverson
Ann G. Halverson, 94, of Elgin, died Thursday, March 17, 2005 at the home of her daughter, LaVonne.
Ann was a devoted member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Elgin, where she was involved in many volunteer activities. She also enjoyed crafts.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald of 55 years; three brothers; six sisters; and one grandson, Michael in 1952; and her son-in-law, Roy Whipple.
Ann is survived by her daughter, LaVonne Whipple of Elgin; four grandchildren, Terry (Trina) Whipple, Steven M. Whipple, Laurie (Duane) Richert, and Suzy (Michael) Williams; nine great-grandchildren, Daniel, Kristin, Kerri, Kelli, Kyle, Lauren, Cassidy, Corey, Dylan; one great-great-granddaughter, Morgan Ann; two brothers, Lee (Marie) and Frank Timmerman, both of Kalamazoo, MI; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 20, 2005 from 4 until 8 PM at the O'Connor-Leetz Funeral Home, Elgin, with funeral services Monday at 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Elgin, with Pastor Olin Sletto, officiating. Burial will be in the Lakewood Memorial Park cemetery.

Mary Johnson
Mary Johnson, 86, of South Elgin, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2005 in Sherman Hospital, Elgin. She was born on June 5, 1918 in Aurora, IL and was the daughter of Joseph and Veronica Fromherz.
Survivors include her husband, Henry Johnson of South Elgin; her three children, Pat Johnson of Hinsdale, IL, Bob (Becky) Johnson of Mt. Zion, IL, Ken (Mona) Johnson of Oak Creek, WI; her granddaughter, Katie Sipos; her two step- granddaughters, Whitney and Biannca Johnson; her two sisters, Kate Konen and Betty Westenfelt; her brother, Paul Fromhertz; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Joseph Fromhertz.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 21, 2005 at 11 AM in the Wait Ross Allanson Funeral & Cremation Services, Elgin Chapel, 51 Center St., with Rev. Joseph F. Kulak, officiating. Burial will follow in Bluff City cemetery, Elgin.
Visitation will be on Sunday from 4-7 PM in the funeral chapel.

Arlene F. Schaller
Arlene F. Schaller, 89, of Hampshire Township, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at Manor Care in Elgin.
She was born May 10, 1915 in Wakefield, Nebraska, the daughter of Frank and Lottie (Hurlbert) Crane. Arlene spent her youth in South Dakota and Nebraska and then moved to Chicago in the early 1940's. She married
Anthony E. Schaller on December 18, 1943 in Chicago and was a resident of Chicago until 1984, when she moved to the Burlington and Hampshire area.
Mrs. Schaller attended the First United Methodist Church of Hampshire, the Hampshire-Burlington Senior Citizens and the Hampshire Women's Club.
She is survived by her two daughters, Pamela (John) Chapman of Hampshire and Donna (Richard) Evans of Rutland Township; four grandchildren, Michael Chapman and Matthew Chapman, David Evans and Samantha Evans; a sister, Ardeth Ticknor of Bella Vista, Arkansas; and brother, Howard (Barbara) Crane of Edgewater, Maryland; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Anthony, who passed away May 11, 1971; step-father, Perle Cline; son, James Anthony Schaller in infancy; brother-in-law, Merle Ticknor.
Visitation will be held from 1-4 PM Sunday, March 20, 2005 at the Fredrick Funeral Home, 284 Park St., Hampshire. Funeral Services will follow at 4 PM with the Rev. Daniel Davis of the First Methodist Church of Hampshire officiating. Burial at the Union Ridge cemetery in Chicago will be private.

Fred Junior Smith
Fred Junior Smith, 76, resident of Elgin since 1940, passed away on March 17, 2005. He was born on March 7, 1929 in Belvidere, IL and was the son of Fred J. and Anna Belle (Wallace) Smith.
Fred was the business manager of I.B.E.W. Local #117 for 28 years. He served on the National Electric Code Committee, National Arbitration Board of the Electrical Industry, National Lineman Apprenticeship Program, National Joint Training Committee for Wiremen and the City of Elgin's Planning and Zoning Board. Also the Electric Commission and served in the School District U-46 School Board as President for 13 years. He was a Veteran and served in the US Army. Fred was an avid woodworker, presenting many of his friends and family members with furniture, bowls, pens, and other items that he crafted out of his love for wood and them.
He is survived by his wife, Madeline "Maggie" Muto; his son, Gregory (Louise) Smith; his sister, Josephine Homuth, both of Elgin; his grandsons, Christopher and Michael; and granddaughter, Jessica.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Fred Jr.; and brother, Jared and William Smith; his sisters, Maria Welstead, Vashti Yerke, and Elvira Kelly.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2005 at 1:00 PM in the Wait Ross Allanson Funeral & Cremation Services, Elgin Chapel, 51 Center St., 60120. Burial will be private. Lincoln W. Ackmann, 89, of Bartlett. died Tuesday, March 19, 2002 at Sherman West Court. Born February 12, 1913. A U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by three children, Terry (Bruce) Lange Morton of St. Charles, Chuck (Diane) Lange of Algonquin and Dick Lange and Laurie Bower of St. Charles; a sister, Myrtle Gustafson; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Elizabeth Mitchell App
Elizabeth Mitchell App, wife of the late Dr. Bernard App, died in Seminole, Florida on March 17, 2002 at the age of 90. She was born on July 27, 1911 in Seattle, Washington and moved to the Venice area in 1977 from Hyattsville, Maryland. She was a homemaker and a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Venice.
Survivors include her son, Donald E. App of Annapolis, MD; grandchildren, Spence Bowling of La Plata, MD, Scott Bowling of Charlotte Hall, MD, Alcine App of Laurel, MD and Angela Carbaugh of Eldersburg, MD; eight great-grandchildren and son-in-law, Dr. Lloyd S. Bowling of Charlotte Hall, MD.

Norman J. Bailey
Norman J. Bailey, 74, of Streamwood passed away Monday, March 18, 2002 at Sherman Hospital, Elgin. Born April 1, 1927 to the late Joseph and Ellen Bailey. A Navy veteran of World War II, serving around Guam in the Pacific Theatre. Retired from Print Pack, Inc., Elgin in 1992. Norman was an avid golfer all his life and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was also a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the Senior Golf League in Streamwood.

Michelle Krich, 32, of South Elgin, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2002 in Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago, IL. She was born July 16, 1969 in Elgin and was the daughter of Michael and Jeannie (Russell) Krich. Michelle was employed with Safety Kleen of Elgin for the last eight years.
She is survived by three children, Jonathan and Danielle Gemzsi and Paige Jones; her mother, Jeannie Krich of South Elgin; her father, Michael Krich of Kirkland; also three brothers, Daniel Krich of Carpentersville, Kevin Krich of DeKalb and Joseph Krich of South Elgin.
