Services for Mary Ann Wright, 80, of Kankakee, were held May 14 at Trinity United Methodist Church, Kankakee. Revs. Martin Gutzmer, Jim Williams and Herbert Thompson officiated.
Mrs. Wright died May 9, 2002.
Burial was in Aroma Park cemetery. Pallbearers were Don Trudeau, Todd Makkay, Jerry Rasmussen, Steve Dodd, Howard Miller and William Lucas.
Arthur Cluver
WATSEKA -- Services for Arthur B. Cluver, 90, of WATSEKA, were held May 15 at Calvary Lutheran Church, Watseka. Rev. Dean Bottjen officiated.
Mr. Cluver died May 11, 2002.
Burial was in Oak Hill cemetery, Watseka. Pallbearers were Rich Weklar, Bob Seggebruch, Chris Kendrick, Lowell and Earl Cluver and Tim Gerdes.
Lawrence Boudreau
CLIFTON -- A funeral Mass for Lawrence D. Boudreau Jr., 82, of Clifton, was celebrated May 15 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Beaverville. Rev. Robert Coleman officiated.
Mr. Boudreau died May 12, 2002.
Burial was in St. Mary's Church cemetery. Pallbearers were Cory, Mike and Greg Acton and Lance, Heath and Ross Martin.
ruce Dinger
SOUTH WILMINGTON -- Bruce Craig Dinger, 41, of Ellenwood, Ga., formerly of South Wilmington, died March 6, 2002 at Atlanta Medical Center, Atlanta, Ga.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Masonic Temple in Gardner. A Masonic service will also be held followed by a casual gathering where friends and family are invited to come and celebrate Bruce's life with their memories and stories.
R.W. Patterson Funeral Homes, Braidwood Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
He was born Nov. 19, 1960 in Joliet.
Surviving are his wife of 17 years, Brenda, whom he married
in Tucson, Ariz.; his mother, Nancy S. Dinger of Hilo, Hawaii; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Phyllis Dinger, Jeffrey and Christal Dinger, John and Sabine Dinger; three stepchildren, Misty and Jason Simas, Richard and Shannon Worrell, Nicholas and Jamie Worrell; seven grandchildren; one niece and three nephews.
His father, Clarence A. Dinger, who died in 1984; and his grandparents, are deceased.
He was a 1978 graduate of Gardner-South Wilmington High School. He was a 1980 graduate of Lewis University with an associates degree in Airframe and Power Plant.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving from 1981-1985.
Mr. Dinger had worked as an Airline Mechanic with Evergreen Air Services in Tucson. He then went to work for Republic Airlines moving to the Minneapolis, Minn. area in January of 1986. A month later Republic was purchased by Northwest Airlines. He continued employment with Northwest, transferring to Atlanta, Ga. in 1996. He loved his work as a mechanic, advancing to inspector and lead inspector before his death.
He was a member of the Newport Masonic Lodge 118 in St. Paul Park, Minn.
Donald Price
CHATSWORTH -- Donald D. Price Sr., 67, of Chatsworth, died Monday (May 13, 2002) at BroMenn Healthcare, Normal.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the 11 a.m. services at Hager Memorial Home, Forrest. Rev. Steve Kettelkamp will officiate.
Burial will be in Strawn cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Donald Price Memorial Fund.
He was born Feb. 15, 1935, in Fairbury, the son of Llewellyn David and Genevieve Painter Price. His parents are deceased.
Surviving are his wife, the former Geneva Dubree, whom he married
May 9, 1980, in Pontiac; one daughter, Susan McLamore of Pontiac; two sons, Donald Price Jr. of Fairbury, William Price of Forrest; one stepson, Randell Mattingly of Gibson City; one stepdaughter, Tina Runyon of Hampton, Va.; seven grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
One brother is deceased.
He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran serving from 1953-1957.
Mr. Price was a retired shear welder, working 30 years with Pittsburg in Fairbury.
Jewell Grothaus
Visitation for Jewell V. Grothaus, 88, of Bourbonnais, will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Bourbonnais Chapel of the Schreffler Funeral Homes.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Kelly Prayer Chapel on the Olivet Nazarene Campus.
Burial will be in Kankakee Memorial Gardens cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the String Scholarship for Olivet.
Mrs. Grothaus died Sunday (May 12, 2002) at Riverside Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 30, 1913, in Willard, Ky., the daughter of Charles O. and Mignon K. Fleming Flaugher.
Her husband, Clarence O. Grothaus, whom she married
Aug. 16, 1967, in Bourbonnais, died Jan. 7, 1990.
Surviving are one stepson, Darel and Faith Grothaus of Seattle, Wash.; one stepdaughter, Rita Ayers of Orlando, Fla.; two nieces and one nephew; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
One sister, Nada Gribble, is deceased.
Mrs. Grothaus was a professor at Olivet Nazarene University. She was an assistant professor emeritus of violin. She gave private viola and violin lessons, taught a string instrument class, music history, instrumentation and literature.
She received a bachelor's degree in music education at Olivet and then a master's degree in that same major at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. She also did graduate work at the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago. She was also Olivet's music librarian.
She was a member of the College Church of the Nazarene.
She was a member of the Olivet Orchestra and had played several years in the Kankakee Symphony Orchestra. She played 100 performances of the Messiah and 47 performances of the commencement, both at Olivet. She played for many weddings and club meetings in Kankakee and was a soloist for many Olivet events.
She was a member of Phi Delta Lambda; the Music Educators National Convention; the American String Teachers Association and the Music Library Association.
Louis Heinrich
DWIGHT -- Louis Heinrich, 77, of Dwight, died Monday (May 13, 2002) at St. James Hospital in Pontiac.
Arrangements are pending at Hager Memorial Home, Dwight.
Lucille Hadders
Visitation for Lucille Pearl Hadders, 75, of Kankakee, formerly of Bradley, will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Bradley Chapel of the Schreffler Funeral Homes.
Services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Kankakee. Rev. Curtis Boyer will officiate.
Burial will be in Kankakee Memorial Gardens cemetery.

Mrs. Hadders died Saturday (May 11, 2002) at Riverside Medical Center.
She was born April 4, 1927, in Kankakee, the daughter of Arthur and Minnie Nehls Woodrich.
Her husband, Richard H. Hadders, whom she married
in 1947 in Kankakee, died May 3, 2000.
Surviving are one brother-in-law, David and Carol Hadders of Onarga; four sisters-in-law, Grace Leroy of Clifton, Edith and Russell Papineau of Bourbonnais, Esther Coffman of Irving, Texas, Ginny Hadders of Buncombe; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Three brothers, Donald, Kenneth and Laverne Woodrich; one sister, Dorothy Meyer; and three brothers-in-law, William Hadders, Frank Coffman and Jack Leroy Sr., are deceased.
She enjoyed embroidery of all kinds.
Philip Paul
EVANSVILLE, Ind. -- Philip F. Paul, 84, of Evansville, Ind., and the father of a Bourbonnais resident, died Sunday (May 12, 2002) at Deaconess Hospital.
Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, with a 4 p.m. memorial service, at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin St., Evansville and from 10 a.m. Friday until the 10:30 a.m celebration of the funeral Mass at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Rev. James Blessing will officiate.
Entombment will be in St. Joseph cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Corpus Christi Catholic Church, the Sisters of Providence Retirement Fund or to the American Heart Association.
He was born in Enfield the son of Joseph and Ella Paul.
His first wife of 48 years, Leona Schenk Paul, died in 1993.
Surviving are his wife of seven years, Susie "Pauline" Paul; five sons, Dr. James F. Paul of Bourbonnais, Ronald "Slim" Paul of Mexican Hat, Utah, Michael Paul and Kenneth Paul, both of Evansville, Christopher Paul of Houston, Texas; four daughters, Sister Betty Paul S.P. of Whitinsville, Mass., Linda Koressel of Evansville, Kathy Baysinger of Terre Haute, Ind., Deborah Paul of Evansville; three stepchildren, Sharon Donnely and Kay Partin, both of Harrisburg, Ill., Louise Seeba of Lake Station, Ind.; two sisters, Mary Zeller of Wadesville, Ind., Loretta Koester of Evansville; one brother, Leo "Simon" Paul of St. Wendel, Ind.; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
One brother, Clarence "Spud" Paul; and one sister, Patricia Phillips, are deceased.
Mr. Paul was a receiving clerk at Whirlpool Corporation for 32 years before he retired in 1978. He was also co-founder of P&C; Pallet Service and operated it for 30 years.
He was a founding member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, the Knights of St. John 335 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, St. Philip Conservation Club, Hilltop Grove, the Order of Owls, Local 808 of AFL-CIO and was a union steward, Darmstadt Retirees Club, Local 808 Retirees Club and AARP.
He loved fishing, rabbit and squirrel hunting and playing clabber tournaments. He won many trophies and enjoyed traveling.
Ronald Platz
CULLOM -- Services for Ronald E. "Potsie" Platz, 47, of Cullom, were held May 11 at the Cabery United Methodist Church. Revs. Deb Talbott and Herb Thompson officiated.
Mr. Platz died May 8, 2002.
Burial, with honor guard and escort by members of the Cullom, Pontiac, Cabery, Kempton, Piper City and Saunemin Fire Departments, was in West Lawn cemetery, Cullom. Pallbearers were Todd and Eric Platz, Marlin Donley, Carl Krause III, George Halpin and David Libby.
John Frailey
MANTENO -- Services for John Marion Frailey, 74, of Manteno, were held May 12 at the Church of Christ in Bourbonnais. Tom Tate officiated.
Mr. Frailey died May 9, 2002.

Emanuel Hofbauer
WATSEKA -- Services for Emanuel Hofbauer, 88, of Watseka, were held May 11 at the Segur-Knapp Funeral Home, Watseka. John Coney officiated.

Joan Freeman
