FRANKFORT - Ronald Anthony Senesac, 85, of Frankfort, formerly of Manteno, died Thursday (March 7, 2002) at his home.
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Gerardi Funeral Home, Frankfort.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Frankfort, where he was a member.
Burial will be in Abraham Lincoln National cemetery, Elwood.
Memorials may be made to the Joliet Area Hospice.
Mr. Senesac had been a carpenter.
He was born June 29, 1926 in Manteno.
Surviving are his wife, the former Verna Weichbrodt; one daughter and son-in-law, Katy and Al Carlson of State College, Pa.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen and Jane Senesac of Frankfort, Daniel and Dawn Senesac of New Lenox; and 11 grandchildren.
One brother, Robert Boudreau; and one sister, Margaret Dube, are deceased.
He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during World War II.
He was a member of the Frankfort Lions Club.
Sam Saulsberry
Sam Saulsberry, 66, of Kankakee, died Thursday (March 7, 2002) at Riverside Medical Center.
Visitation is tentatively set for Monday with services on Tuesday.
Survivors include his wife, Laura.
Arrangements are pending at Lax Mortuary, Kankakee.
Wanda Cunningham
JOLIET -- Wanda L. Cunningham, 76, of Coal City, died Saturday (March 2, 2002) at the Provena St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. at the Patterson Funeral Homes Braidwood Chapel, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Dick Johnson officiating.
Interment will be in the West Big Rock cemetery, Big Rock, Ill. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the cemetery with Dr. Richard Shelton officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Order of the Eastern Star Holly Chapter 183 in Braidwood or to the New Hope Presbyterian Church in Coal City.
She was born Feb. 27, 1926, in Iola, Ill., the daughter of the late Este and Alma Bostic Fitzgerald.
Survivors include two sons and daughters in law, John and Mary Jo Slover of Sugar Grove, Ill., and Rick and Cathy Cunningham of Plano, Ill.; one daughter and son in law, Vicki and Jim Jackson of Mendon, Mich.; five grandchildren; one sister and brother in law, Mary Lou and J.W. Morris of Calhoun, La.; and several nieces and nephews.
She had formerly been employed at All-Steel in Aurora.
She was a member of the New Hope Presbyterian Church in Coal City; the VFW Auxiliary in Wilmington; and the order of the Eastern Star in Braidwood, Elwood and Wilmington chapters, where she held the chairs of Electa, Chaplin and Warder.
Wilburn Jackson
Wilburn Franklin "Frank" Jackson, 47, of Bradley, died Saturday (March 2, 2002) at his home.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Kankakee Chapel of the Schreffler Funeral Homes, where services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday.
Carmaltha Hodges
Visitation for Carmaletha Hodges, 38, of Kankakee, will be from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the 11 a.m. service at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. Robert Rucker will officiate.
Cremation rites will be accorded.
Arrangements are by Lax Mortuary.
Ms. Hodges was born Dec. 27, 1963 in Kankakee, the daughter of John Calmes and Arfazia Hodges. Her mother is deceased.
Surviving are two sons and one daughter-in-law, Dennis Lane Jr. of Vienna, Cleounsee and Sherice Lane of Kankakee; two daughters, Taccara Lane and Shucky Johnson, both of Kankakee; eight brothers and one sister-in-law, Terry Hodges, Otis Hodges, both of Minneapolis, Minn., Douglas Willingham, John Calmes Jr., Marcus Calmes, all of Kankakee, Willie Dean of Louisville, Ky., James Earl Monroe of Chicago, Tony and Wanda Monroe of Burnsville, Minn.; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Sherika Willingham, Lucille and Ted Mack, all of Kankakee, Wanda Monroe of Sparta; maternal grandmother, Lilly Gilbert of Kankakee; father and stepmother, John Calmes Sr. and Gloria Calmes of Kankakee; several aunts and uncles; one special friend, Leroy White of Kankakee; seven grandchildren; and many other relatives.
Ms. Hodges worked at Arena Veterans Home in Manteno.
She was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
She attended Eastridge High School and enjoyed cooking.
Earle Emme
CHEBANSE - Earl F. Emme, 67, of Chebanse, died Friday (March 1, 2002) at his home.
Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. today at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home, Bourbonnais, with a wake service.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at Sts. Mary & Joseph Catholic Church in Chebanse.
Burial will be in Sts. Mary & Joseph cemetery in Chebanse.
Memorials may be made to Otto Township Fire and Ambulance.
Mr. Emme was born June 15, 1934 in Chebanse, the son of Frank J. and Minnie Haselow Emme.
Surviving are his wife, the former Sharon L. Mayotte, whom he married
in 1954 at Sts. Mary & Joseph Catholic Church in Chebanse; two sons and daughters-in-law, Steven F. and Gail Emme, Daniel L. and Bridgette Emme, all of Bourbonnais; one daughter and son-in-law, Christine L. and David Marr of Bourbonnais; three sisters, Mabel Schatz, Darlene LaReau, both of Chebanse, Marcia Brenneisen of Clifton; and six grandchildren, Laura Emme, Nick Marr, Ellen Marr, Eric Boivin, Adam Boivin and Rachael Boivin; and many nieces and nephews.
Five brothers, Fred, Eldon, Leroy, Frank and Elmer; and one sister, Myrtle Gollquist, are deceased.
Mr. Emme was a longtime automobile manager and salesman in the Kankakee Area.
He was a member of Sts. Mary & Joseph Catholic Church in Chebanse.
He enjoyed playing cards.
Eleanor Huntley
Eleanor Huntley, 78, of Bourbonnais, died Friday (March 1, 2002) at Riverside Medical Center.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Monday until the 1 p.m. service at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home, Bourbonnais. Rev. Kenneth Yarno will officiate.
Burial will be in All Saints cemetery.
Mrs. Huntley was born Nov. 11, 1923 in Blue Island, the daughter of Joseph and Valerie Mikolajczyk Witasic. Her parents are deceased.
Surviving are her husband, Clyde A. Huntley, whom she married
in 1949 in Crown Point, Ind., of Bourbonnais; three sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Patty Huntley of Park Forest, Jack and Cindy Huntley, Bruce and Wanda Huntley, all of Tinley Park; one daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Joseph Kokal of New Lennox; one sister, Regina Rampke of Dolton; and 10 grandchildren.
One sister, Theodora "Babe" Meuzelaar; and one brother, Theodore Witasic, are deceased.
Mrs. Huntley was a U.S. Army veteran.
She was a member of St. George Church.
Elroy Miedema
CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - Elroy D. Miedema, 60, of Coral Springs, Fla., son of a St. Anne resident, died Jan. 27, 2001.
Services were held at Kraser Funeral in Coral Springs, Fla.
Inurnment services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Oakwood cemetery in Wichert. Rev. Gerald Normal will officiate.
A fellowship luncheon will be held at the First Reformed Church of Wichert following the ceremony.
Mr. Miedema was born Sept. 17, 1941, the son of John and Jennie Miedema. His father is deceased.
Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Virginia Smith Miedema; two sons, Dale Miedema of Gilbert, Eric Miedema of Florida; one daughter, Jodi Miedema of Florida; one stepson, Marvin Everett of Florida; one stepdaughter, Christine Everett of Florida; four grandchildren; and one brother, Rance Miedema of St. Anne.
He was a graduate of Wichert Grade School, St. Anne High School, Olivet Nazarene University, and received a master's degree in accounting from the University of Illinois.
He established an accounting firm in Kankakee and later move to Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., where he formed a branch office and later added the CPA Contractors Inc. firm.

WATSEKA -- Fay A. Peters, 80, of Watseka, died Saturday (March 2, 2002) at Iroquois Memorial Hospital.

Johnsie Hawkins
MARION - Visitation for Johnsie M. Hawkins, 74, of Marion, formerly of Kankakee, will be from 9 a.m. Monday until the 11 a.m. service at Clancy Gernon Funeral Home, Kankakee.
Burial will be in Kankakee Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Hawkins died Thursday (Feb. 28, 2002) at Marion Memorial Hospital.
She was born March 19, 1927 in York, S.C., the daughter of John and Mary Rose Donnelly. Her parents are deceased.
Her husband, Ambers "Curly" Hawkins, whom she married
Jan. 17, 1914, died Oct. 11, 1984.
Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Gary Knorr of Marion; one sister, Teretha Spencer of Pillion, S.C.; two grandchildren, Brian Knorr of Marion, Kimberly and Paul Longtin of Kankakee; and two great-grandchildren, Ryan Hoffinditz, and Jaiden Longtin.
One daughter, Brenda Kay; and one grandson, Kevin; four brothers; and two sisters, are deceased.
Mrs. Hawkins was a retired supervisor and last employee of Bear Brand Hosiery Co.
She was a member of Peoples Church and enjoyed music.
Mary Orlowski
MOMENCE - Mary C. Orlowski, 86, of Momence, died Friday (March 1, 2002) at Momence Meadows Nursing Center.
There will be no visitation.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Cotter Funeral Home in Momence. Rev. Denis White will officiate.
Burial will be in St. Patrick Catholic cemetery in Momence.
Memorials may be made to the family's wishes.
Mrs. Orlowski was born March 24, 1915 in Chicago, the daughter of George and Catherine Boyer Racz.
Her husbands, Albert J. Tomasik and Frank Orlowski, are deceased.
Surviving are three step-grandchildren, Cheryl Scarborough of Momence, Peggy Rolland of Hammond, Ind., Don Neal of East Chicago, Ind.; eight great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Two sons, Donald and Joseph Tomasik, are deceased.

PEOTONE - Richard C. Steury, 78, of Peotone, formerly of Oak Lawn, died Friday (March 1, 2002) at Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey.
Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. today at Fedde-Helfrich Chapel in Peotone, where services will be at 11 a.m. Monday. Rev. Barbara Lohrbach will officiate.
Burial will be in Peotone cemetery. Pallbearers will be Richard L. Steury, Matthew White, Jeffery and Curtis Wisek, Ryan Morrison, Herb Panice and John McGinnis.
Memorials may be made to Eastern Will County Senior Services.
Mr. Steury was born May 18, 1923 in Fort Wayne, Ind., the son of Richard and Helen Mincer Steury. His parents are deceased.
Surviving are two daughters and one son-in-law, Valerie J. White of Palos Park, Deborah and Herb Panice of Peotone; one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Judith Steury of Lockport; his companion, Lois Morrison of Peotone; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
His stepmother is deceased.
Mr. Steury was employed at Eastern Will County Senior Services for 17 years.
He was a member of Eastern Will County Senior Services, Peotone American Legion Post 392, Beecher Amvets, a former Mason and Shriner.
He was a World War II and Korean War veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy.
