MOMENCE -- Visitation for Colbert I. Campbell, 67, of Momence, will be from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the 11 a.m. service at First Baptist Church in Momence. Rev. Bill Steger will officiate.
Family and friends will fellowship at First Baptist Church dining area following internment at Momence cemetery. Pallbearers will be William Campbell, Chris Campbell, Cecil Campbell, James Campbell, Ira Jefferson, Kevin Jefferson and Charles Jefferson.
Memorials may be made to the family's wishes.
Arrangements are by Leggett Funeral Home in Hopkins Park.
Mrs. Campbell died Friday (Jan. 31, 2003) at Momence Meadows Nursing Home, following an extended illness.
Colbert was born Oct. 29, 1935 in Chicago, the daughter of Claudius and Ruth Pugh. Her parents are deceased.
Colbert leaves behind to mourn her husband, William Campbell of Momence, whom she married
on Sept. 23, 1963 in Nevada; three stepsons: William D. Campbell, Kankakee, Chris and Dianne Campbell, Peoria, Cecil G. Campbell of Kankakee; six step-grandchildren: Charice', Cecil Jr., William Jr., Cassimine, Patric', Cassmere; two sister-in-laws: Mary F. Campbell, Momence, Lenora Campbell, Indianapolis, Ind; one brother-in-law: Ira Fitzpatrick, Momence; one aunt Dale Washington of Chicago; special persons: Donna Thomas, Shirley and Erika Flournoy, all of Momence; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Colbert was a member of the First Baptist Church of Momence and the VFW of Pembroke.
She attended Kankakee Community College/Olivet University for her Master's in Nursing, and was employed at Manteno State Hospital for 42 years until she retired.
Colbert enjoyed crocheting, oil painting, playing the piano, fishing with her husband, and vacationing, also enjoying dog Cocoa.

Melonie Cottrell
WILMINGTON -- Melonie M. Cottrell, 46, of Wilmington, died Sunday (Feb. 2, 2003) from injuries sustained in a single car accident.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. Wednesday until the 8:30 p.m. services at the McKenzie Funeral Home, 15618 S. Cicero Ave., Oak Forest.
Burial will be private.
Mrs. Cottrell was an inspector at ITW Impro in Mokena.
Her husband, Roland Cottrell, is deceased.
Surviving are two sons and one daughter-in-law, Brian Cottrell and Steven and Jennifer Cottrell; one grandson; one sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Richard Nemecek; and two nieces and one nephew.
Roland Cottrell
WILMINGTON -- Roland O. Cottrell, 54, of Wilmington, died Sunday (Feb. 2, 2003) from injuries sustained in a single car accident.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. Wednesday until the 8:30 p.m. services at the McKenzie Funeral Home, 15618 S. Cicero Ave., Oak Forest.
Burial will be private.
Mr. Cottrell was a retired truck driver.
His wife, the former Melonie Schinski, is deceased.
Surviving are two sons and one daughter-in-law, Brian Cottrell and Steven and Jennifer Cottrell; one grandson; six brothers and three sisters-in-law, Norman and Judy Cottrell, Douglas Cottrell, Burt Cottrell, Walter and Joan Cottrell, Eugene Cottrell, Kenneth and Mary Cottrell; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Marlene and Russell Burriss, Anietra and Robert Brucker and Naomi Scott; best friend, Robert Philips; and many nieces and nephews.
William Drury
Visitation for William T. "Bill" Drury Sr., 72, of Bourbonnais, will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, with a 6:30 p.m. wake service, at the Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at Maternity BVM Catholic Church, where he was a member.
Burial will be in All Saints cemetery in Bourbonnais.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Kankakee Valley.
He died Sunday (Feb. 2, 2003) at the home of his son, William Jr., after a short illness.
Mr. Drury retired from Local 17 Heat and Frost Insulators.
He was born May 15, 1930, in Evergreen Park, the son of James and Mary Thievierge Drury. His parents are deceased.
His wife, the former Roberta McGrath, whom he married
in 1963 in Chicago, died June 12, 1998.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, William T. Jr. and Amy Drury and Jeffrey W. and Lisa Drury, all of Bourbonnais; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Mary Louise King of LaGrange Park, Therese and Mike Coleman of Oak Forest; one brother and sister-in-law, James and Fern Drury of Mountain Home, Ark.; two grandchildren, Megyn and Ethyn Drury; and many nieces and nephews.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and a volunteer at the Illinois Veterans Home in Manteno.
Mr. Drury was a member of the Momence Sportsman's Club and the Bradley-Bourbonnais Senior Citizens.
He enjoyed hunting.
Paul Fultz
ST. ANNE -- Visitation for Paul H. Fultz, 61, of St. Anne, will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Cotter Funeral Home in Momence, and from 9 a.m. Thursday until the 10 a.m. services at the First Assembly of God Church in Kankakee, where he was a member. Rev. Randall Caswell will officiate.
Burial, with military honors by the Momence Honor Guard, will be in Kankakee Memorial Gardens cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
He died Monday (Feb. 3, 2003) at St. James Osteopathic Hospital in Olympia Fields.
Mr. Fultz was an over-the-road truck driver for Crete Carriers of Lincoln, Neb. for 40 years.
He was born Oct. 2, 1941, in Bellefonte, Pa., the son of Woodrow and Betty Snare Styers. His parents are deceased.
Surviving are his wife, the former Thelma Jane Jarrell, whom he married
Dec. 2, 1971 in Chicago, of St. Anne; one son, Melvin Earl Davis of Cape Coral, Fla.; one daughter and son-in-law, Yvonne and Bruce A. Thompson of Momence; four grandchildren, Rick Earl Davis of New Jersey and Erik Paul Davis of Florida, Kimberly Ann Thompson and Timothy S. Thompson, both of Momence; 10 great-grandchildren; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Sonny and Peggy Fultz, Chuck and Peg Styers, Robert and Sue Styers, Theodore and Sharon Tressler, all of Williamsport, Pa.; and one sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Stanley Van Tassell of Williamsport, Pa.
One brother and one great-grandchild are deceased.
Mr. Fultz was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Korea.
Patricia Gibson
Visitation for Patricia "Patsy" Ann Gibson, 68, of Kankakee, will be from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Kankakee Chapel of the Schreffler Funeral Homes, where services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday.
Burial will be in Kankakee Memorial Gardens cemetery.

Mrs. Gibson died Sunday (Feb. 2, 2003) at Riverside Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 7, 1934, the daughter of Benjamin and Alma Marie Jones Darrough. Her parents are deceased.
Her husband, James W. Gibson, whom she married
April 17, 1954 at Asbury United Methodist Church in Kankakee, died Feb. 11, 1989.
Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Bill Cantrell of Kankakee; one sister and brother-in-law, Rose and Bon Sullivan of Champaign; and one grandson, James and Katie Cantrell of Kankakee.
One brother, Ben Darrough, is deceased.
Mrs. Gibson was active in local politics, and was a judicial assistant for Social Security.
She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, the Kankakee VFW Auxiliary, and Riverview Neighborhood Association.
She enjoyed gardening.
James Jensen

HERSCHER -- Visitation for James W. Jensen, 51, of Herscher, will be from 4-8 p.m. today at the Kankakee Chapel of the Schreffler Funeral Homes, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Rev. Richard Kostelz will officiate.
Burial will be in Pilot cemetery in Herscher.
Memorials may be made for his children's education.
He died Saturday (Feb. 1, 2003) at Provena St. Mary's Hospital in Kankakee.
Mr. Jensen was a truck driver for Tobey Construction for almost 30 years and a part-time farmer.
He was born Nov. 27, 1951 in Kankakee, the son of Kenneth and Erna Schmid Jensen. His father is deceased.
Surviving are his wife, the former SueEllen M. Sorensen, whom he married
April 7, 1990 at United Methodist Church in Herscher; two daughters, Jill Jensen of Chicago, Lauren Jensen of Herscher; his mother of Chebanse; six sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Mike Kramer, Betty and Mark Reid, all of Clifton, Cindy and Mark Corbin of Ashkum, Judy and Dave Ashman, Diane and Pete Elbert, all of Chebanse, Nancy and Marty Hull of L'Erable; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Dan and Diane Jensen, Dick and Lisa Jensen, and Jeff Jensen, all of Chebanse; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Maxine Sorensen of Herscher; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Russell and Valerie Crane of Clifton, Richard and Melinda Flynn of Herscher, Ava and Dusty Redman of Kankakee; and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
He enjoyed farming and his work, and spending time in his yard.

MOMENCE -- Jack L. Jones, 70, of Momence, died Monday (Feb. 3, 2003) at his home.
Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Thursday at the Cotter Funeral Home in Momence.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Peter's Church of Christ in Grant Park.
Lloyd Eveland
PIPER CITY -- Services for Lloyd "Bing" Evelund, 101, of Piper City, were held Feb. 3 at United Methodist Church, Piper City. Rev. Jan Miller officiated.
Mr. Evelund died Jan. 30, 2003.
Burial was in Brenton cemetery in Piper City. Pallbearers were Bryan, Matt and John Cook, Shane Stevens, Nicholas and Chad Giampapa, and Steven Evelund.
Myrtle Buente
BONFIELD -- Services for Myrtle A. Buente, 99, of Bonfield, were held Feb. 3 at the Bonfield Evangelical United Methodist Church. Rev. Steven Friese officiated.
Mrs. Buente died Jan. 31, 2003.
Burial was in Maple Grove cemetery in Bonfield. Pallbearers were Larry, Bob, Kevin, Kyle and Wayne Buente, Randy Hunyor and Bruce and Barry Messer.
