E. Paul Lee
MOMENCE -- Services for E. Paul Lee, 81, of Momence, were held Jan. 27 at the Church of God Worship Center in Bourbonnais. Revs. Rick Sexton and Harry Schmidt officiated.
Mr. Lee died Jan. 23, 2003.
Burial, with military rites by the Momence Honor Guard, was in the Momence cemetery. Pallbearers were Max Walker, Dale Harvick, Dave Kibbons, Dan Wehrmann, Mike Lee and Mark Fairchild.
Anna Wheeler
Services for Anna "Ann" J. Wheeler, 90, of Kankakee, were held Jan. 27 at the Hertz-Thoma Funeral Chapel. Rev. Richard Pighini officiated.
Mrs. Wheeler died Jan. 24, 2003.
Burial was in Kankakee Memorial Gardens cemetery. Pallbearers were Michael, Roger and David Bland, Chad Williams, Don and Tim Wheeler, Gerald Brinkman and Don Seitz.
Bonnie Gregory

WATSEKA -- Private graveside services for Bonnie D. Gregory, 68, of Watseka, will be held Wednesday in Maple Grove cemetery, Milford. Rev. Neil Larimore will officiate.
Memorials may be made to Iroquois Memorial Hospice.
Baier Funeral Home in Watseka is in charge of arrangements.
She died Monday (Jan. 27, 2003) at her home.
Mrs. Gregory was a nurses aide at Iroquois Memorial Hospital.
She was born May 10, 1934, in Calumet City, Ind., the daughter of Harry and Irma Hopp Parrish. Her parents are deceased.
Surviving are her husband, Charles "Chuck" Gregory, whom she married
May 12, 1950, in Watseka; two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles Sam and Connie Gregory of Chatsworth, Dan and Becky Gregory of Stockland; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Sherri Bray of Watseka, Linda and Steve Wright of North Carolina, Debbie and Dave Lauterbach of Watseka; 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Gregory was a member of the Protestant church.
She enjoyed cross-stitch.
Raymond Hunt
Air Force veteran
GALT, Calif. -- Raymond L. Hunt, 63, of Galt, Calif., formerly of Herscher, died Jan. 10, 2003 at his home after a short illness.
Services were held Jan. 17 at the Ben Salas Funeral Home in Galt.
Committal followed the service at the Galt cemetery.
Mr. Hunt was a 20 year veteran of the U.S. Air Force, retiring as technical sergeant in Avionics Navigation. He was later employed as an industrial mechanic for Dart Containers Corp.
He was born March 24, 1939 in Kankakee.
Surviving are his wife, Judith A. Hunt of Galt; two sons, Adam Hunt of Williamston, Mich., Robert Hunt of Galt; two daughters, Kimberley Hunt of Winston-Salem, N.C., Audrey Dulaney of Aviano, Italy; one sister, Evelyn Cosby of Kentucky; and four grandchildren.
Mr. Hunt was a graduate of Herscher High School.
He was a master woodworker and clock maker who enjoyed traveling, military aircraft and reading.
Paul Murphy

Paul I. Murphy Sr., formerly of Kankakee, died Saturday (Jan. 25, 2003) at his home.
Visitation will be from 3-9 p.m. today at the Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore Ave., Villa Park.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Ascension Catholic Church in Oakbrook Terrace.
Burial will be in Mt. Carmel cemetery.

Mr. Murphy was a lifelong member of Local 1 Ironworkers.
His wife Lucille is deceased.
Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Kitty and Thomas Bajkowski and Jane and Kenneth Marcus; four sons and daughters-in-law, Paul Jr. and Maggie Murphy, Joseph and Jackie Murphy, Michael and Patty Murphy, Terrence and MaryLou Murphy; 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; one sister, Orva Sobieski; friend, Katherine Monteleone; and many nieces and nephews.
Two brothers, Ronald and Kenneth, are deceased.
Mr. Murphy was a U.S. Army veteran serving during World War II in Iceland, England and Normandy. He received the Purple Heart, the Combat Infantry Badge and the Bronze Star with two Oak Leaf Clusters.
Wilbert Schade
FRANKFORT -- Wilbert Joseph Schade, 81, of rural Frankfort, and the father of a Kankakee resident, died Sunday (Jan. 26, 2003) in Kankakee.
Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Fedde-Helfrich Chapel, Peotone.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, where he was a member. Rev. Michael Ginter will officiate.
Burial will be in the Peotone cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.
Mr. Schade was retired from Chesse System Railroad.
He was born Oct. 19, 1921, in Blue Island, the son of William and Barbara Pucik Schade.
His wife, Wanda Lee Schade, whom he married
Aug. 22, 1951, died in 2002.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, William and Mary Schade of New Lenox, Robert and Liana Schade of Kankakee; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Minnie Paliga of Rhinelander, Wis. and Ann Lopacinski of Everett, Wash.
Three brothers, Raymond, Louis and William; and one sister, Therese Latour, are deceased.
Mr. Schade was a member of the Calumet Park American Legion and the Knights of Columbus.

Imogene Ward, 81, of Bradley, died Monday (Jan. 27, 2003) at the Miller Center in Kankakee.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday.

She was born June 3, 1918, in Fountain Green, the daughter of Albert and Ruth Latherow Roberts.
Her husband, Robert Weiss Sr., is deceased.
Surviving are two sons and one daughter-in-law, Robert and Sherry Weiss of Peotone, Joseph Weiss of Menomonee Falls, Wis.; one brother and sister-in-law, Glen and JoAn Roberts of Dallas City; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Donald Yeoman

ST. ANNE -- Donald H. Yeoman, 75, of St. Anne, died Monday (Jan. 27, 2003) at his home.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, with an 8 p.m. wake service, at the Clancy-Gernon-Houk Funeral Home in St. Anne.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Anne Catholic Church, where he was a member. Rev. James Fanale will officiate.
Burial will be in the St. Anne Catholic cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Anne Catholic Church.
Mr. Yeoman retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a rural letter carrier.
He was born April 29, 1927, in Rensselaer, Ind., the son of Hugh and Lizzie Selby Yeoman.

June 23, 1951, of St. Anne; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Brian and Diane Yeoman of St. Anne, Michael Yeoman of Mesa, Ariz., Mark and Christine Yeoman of St. Anne; three daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Paul Mancuso of Kankakee, Shirley and Gary Easter and Linda and Rory Pritchard, all of Mesa, Ariz.; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Geneva Wenrick and June and Forrest Foulks, all of Monon, Ind.; six brothers and four sisters-in-law, Hugh Yeoman Jr. of Davis, Calif., Ralph and Rosa Yeoman of Rensselaer, Ind., James and Darlene Yeoman of Lafayette, Ind., Paul and Pat Yeoman of Bossier City, La., Boyd and Belinda Yeoman of Merrillville, Ind., Gene Yeoman of Monticello, Ind.; and eight grandchildren, Jamie Stalnecker, Sara Mancuso, Stephanie Yeoman, Christopher Mancuso, Nicholas and Todd Yeoman, Kalee Easter and Holly Yeoman.
Three grandsons, Mathew Easter, Jimmy and Johny Mancuso; one sister, Edith Cox; two brothers, Louis and Wayne Yeoman, are deceased.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was a past member of the St. Anne Fire Department and Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus.
He enjoyed traveling, fishing, playing dominoes and euchre.
Genevieve Andreasen
WEIRSDALE, Fla. -- Genevieve Andreasen, 71, of Weirsdale, Fla., formerly of Coal City and Dwight, died Jan. 7, 2003 at her home.
Cremation rites were accorded.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Coal City High School Memorial Fund.
Mrs. Andreasen had worked at a bakery in Coal City, the Joliet Arsenal and Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Dwight.
She was born Aug. 27, 1931, in Coal City, the daughter of Paul and Elsie Matteson.
Surviving are her husband, James H. Andreasen, whom she married
Jan. 1, 1951, in Coal City, of Weirsdale, Fla.; two daughters, Lucinda Wotton of Emington, Brenda Hennis of Callahan, Fla.; two sons, Gary Andreasen and Randy Andreasen, both of Dwight; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and one brother, Eugene Matteson of Morris.
Two brothers, Gerald Matteson and Dale Matteson; and one great-grandchild, are deceased.
She was a 1950 graduate of Coal City High School.
She was a member of the Danish Brotherhood and a former member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Dwight.
She enjoyed Siamese cats, baking, sewing, various crafts, fishing and playing the organ.
