STREATOR -- Betty L. Croyts, 70, of Maud, Texas, formerly of Streator and the sister of a Dwight resident, died Monday (Aug. 11, 2003) at her home. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the Solon, Baker and Telford Funeral Home in Streator. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Church, Streator. Monsignor John J. Prendergast will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview cemetery, Streator. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen M. and Terry Barton of Maud, Texas, Donna and Clifton Hayes of Seward, Alaska; one sister, Georgia Bohannon of Dwight; one brother, William Wultzen of Streator; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

COAL CITY -- Donna Jean Giaudrone, 64, of Coal City, died Sunday (Aug. 10, 2003) at Morris Hospital. At her request, cremation rites will be accorded. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Wednesday until the 10:30 a.m. services at Ferrari Funeral Services in Coal City. Rev. James Brazel will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Abraham Lincoln National cemetery in Elwood. Memorials may be made to the Wish Upon A Star Foundation or to a charity of the donor's choice. She was born July 23, 1939, in Joliet, the daughter of Roy and Thelma Zeller. Her parents are deceased. Surviving are her husband of 43 years, Pete J. Giaudrone Jr.; one daughter, Mary Beth Giaudrone of Coal City; one son and daughter-in-law, James and Jolene Giaudrone of Coal City; three grandchildren; one sister, Sandra Zeller of Crest Hill; one brother and sister-in-law, James and Marilyn Zeller of Chandler, Ariz.; one brother-in-law, Doug (Nora) Giaudrone of Crest Hill; one sister-in-law, Geri (Earl) Mack of Coal City; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

CABERY -- Visitation for Jennette Dittus Jensen, 91, of Cabery, will be from 10 a.m. Friday until the noon services at Trinity Lutheran Church in Herscher, where she was a member. Mark Wenzel will officiate. Burial will be in the Trinity Lutheran cemetery in Herscher. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Herscher. The Herscher Chapel of the Schreffler Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements. She died Sunday (Aug. 10, 2003) at the Merkle Knipprath Nursing Home in Clifton. Mrs. Jensen was a registered nurse for 52 years, retiring in 1986. She most recently had worked as a nurse at Shapiro Developmental Center for 20 years. Aug. 15, 1937 at the First Baptist Church in Kankakee, died Sept. 16, 1959. Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Kathryn and Michael Sage of Irwin; four sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Nancy Jensen of Kempton, Thomas and Lorraine Jensen of Elgin, James and Janice Jensen of San Marcos, Texas, Charles and Karen Jensen of Crawfordsville, Ind.; one sister, Dorothy Whaley of Wheatley, Ontario, Canada; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Otto and William Dittus, are deceased. She was raised and educated in Ontario, Canada, returning to Illinois to attend nurses' training. She was a 1935 graduate of St. Mary's School of Nursing and received a bachelor's degree in health administration in 1976 from St. Francis College. Mrs. Jensen was a member of the Lydia Circle (Church women's group) and a Sunday School teacher for 20 years. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting and reading.

GRANT PARK -- Viola Louise Ohm, 100, of Grant Park, died Monday (Aug. 11, 2003) at Momence Meadows Nursing Center. Visitation will be from 3:30-7 p.m. Wednesday at the Cotter Funeral Home in Momence. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter's United Church of Christ in Grant Park, where she was a member. Rev. Frank L. Hoss will officiate. Burial will be in the Union Corners cemetery in Grant Park. Memorials may be made to the United Church of Christ. She was born Sept. 24, 1902, in Welcome, Minn., the daughter of William and Caroline Langhorst Martens. Her husband, Albert Ohm, whom she married

Surviving are one daughter, Pauline Ohm-Mitchell of Momence; one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Jean Ohm of Momence; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. He was born Nov. 23, 1952, in Kankakee, the son of Clarence and Edna Mae Hall Ravn. His mother is deceased. Burial was in St. Paul's Lutheran cemetery, Woodworth. Pallbearers were Mark Wilkening, Royce Ballard, Dean Schippert, George Muench, Todd Schippert and Todd Muench. Memorials may be made to the Bonfield Evangelical United Methodist Church or to the Salina Township Fire Department. She died Sunday (Aug. 10, 2003) at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee. Mrs. Wagner helped her husband farm in Bonfield. She was a member of the Bonfield Evangelical United Methodist Church for 65 years, the United Methodist Women, the Bonfield Twig of Riverside, the Bonfield Senior Citizens Club, Women's Christian Temperance Union and the Sunshine Circle. She was a Sunday School teacher, youth leader, church organist and pianist for Sunday School. She had taught piano. She was born Sept. 23, 1908, in Bonfield, the daughter of Henry and Clara Riegel Wingert. Her husband, Gerald M. Wagner, whom she married
March 21, 1953, in Salina Township, died April 8, 1967. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Brent and Jacqulyn Wagner of Bonfield; one brother, Wayne Wagner of Tucson, Ariz.; and two granddaughters, Nancy Wagner of Bothell, Wash. and Linda Wagner of Estes Park, Colo.
