MANTENO - Visitation for Alphonse B. Klimson, 90, of Manteno, will be from 9-10:45 a.m. Thursday at Clancy Gernon Funeral Home, Manteno.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Church in Manteno.
Burial will be in All Saints cemetery, Bourbonnais.
Mr. Klimson died Sunday (Dec. 3, 2000) at Provena St. Mary's Hospital.
Mr. Klimson was retired from The Chicago Western & Indiana Railroad after 39 years.
He was born Dec. 24, 1909, in Scranton, Pa., the son of Bernard and Marcella Klimson.
Surviving are his wife, the former Anna Hall, whom he married
March 3, 1941, in Clinton, Iowa, of Manteno; one son and daughter-in-law, Allan and Margaret Klimson of Manteno; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Two sisters, Elizabeth and Ann, are deceased.
He was a member of St. Joseph Church in Manteno.
He enjoyed golfing, fishing and bowling.
Marvin Chouinard
Visitation for Marvin D. Chouinard, 54, of Kankakee, will be from 5 p.m. Wednesday until the 8 p.m. services at the Hertz- Thoma Funeral Chapel. Rev. Dennis Settles will officiate.
Cremation rites were accorded by Hertz-Thoma Crematory.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Kankakee Valley or to St. Mary's Cancer Center.
Mr. Chouinard died Monday (Dec. 4, 2000) at his home.
He was born July 11, 1946, in Kankakee, the son of Jerome and Violet Unger Chouinard. His father is deceased.
Surviving are his wife, the former Sue Knuth; one son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Myrna Chouinard of Nashwauk, Minn.; stepdaughters, Darcy and Darrell Kahler of Brookings, S.D., Becky Wehde of Sioux Falls, S.D.; two sisters, Carol Goodrich of Bourbonnais, Connie Duff of Vidor, Texas; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Norman and Lila Chouinard of St. Anne, Merle and Cindy Chouinrd of Kankakee; five grandchildren; and his mother, Violet Stukey-Chouinard of Bourbonnais.
One son, Marvin Jr., is deceased.
Mr. Chouinard was a construction millwright for Local 1102 for 36 years.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Suzanne Huggins
Suzanne M. Huggins, 61, of Bradley, died today (Dec. 5, 2000) at her home after a short illness.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home, Bourbonnais.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bradley, where she was a member.
Burial will be in All Saints cemetery, Bourbonnais.
Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Grade School.
She was born Oct. 22, 1939, in Kankakee, the daughter of Viateur "Babe" and Mary Helen Casey Hamende. Her parents are deceased.
Surviving are her husband, Larry Huggins, whom she married
Oct. 10, 1960, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Kankakee; one son and daughter-in- law, Gary and Callie Huggins of Bradley; two daughters and sons-in-law, Amy and Tom Erickson, Denise and Dennis Hennessy, all of Bradley; one sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Larry Barbee of Bradley; and seven grandchildren.
Mrs. Huggins was active with the Versatile Club.
She enjoyed reading.
Alan Doris
UNIVERSAL CITY, Texas - Alan R. Doris, 54, of Universal City, Texas, and the relative of area residents, died Wednesday (Nov. 29, 2000) at his home of cancer.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sts. Mary and Joseph Catholic Church in Chebanse.
Burial was in Texas.
He was the son of Ernest and Darlene Ponton Doris.
Surviving are his wife Charlene of Texas; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Mary and John Antonopoulos of Midlothian, Stephanie and Todd Hartley, Alison Doris, all of Bourbonnais; one sister and brother-in-law, Marcia and Dave Stromme of Ashkum; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Bruce and Cindy Doris of Arlington Heights, Mark and Chris Doris of Chebanse, Scott and Laurie Doris of Manteno; and three grandchildren.
Mr. Doris was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Shirley McBride
FAIRBURY - Shirley "Jean" McBride, 68, of Fairbury, and the sister of a Chatsworth resident, died Sunday (Dec. 3, 2000) at OSF St. James Hospital, Pontiac.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. Friday until the 11 a.m. services at Fairbury United Methodist Church, where she was a member. Rev. Stanley Rapp will officiate.
Burial will be in Graceland cemetery, Fairbury.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
She was born April 4, 1932, in Fairbury, the daughter of John Richard and Pearl Lucille Slocombe Wagenseller. Her parents are deceased.
Surviving are one sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy Mae and Elmer Dassow of Chatsworth; and four nieces and nephews.
Three brothers are deceased.
Mrs. McBride worked in the Coil Factory in Fairbury, Pontiac and Forrest.
She was a 1949 graduate of Fairbury High School and a graduate of Electronic Trade School in Nebraska.

Therese M. Ruhm-Neumann, 73, of Bradley, died Monday (Dec. 4, 2000) at Miller Health Care.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the Bradley Chapel of the Schreffler Funeral Homes.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Church in Bradley.

ELMHURST - Rev. Rudolf G. Schade, 92, of Elmhurst, died Wednesday (Nov. 29, 2000) at Lexington Health Care Center.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Dec. 14, at Hammerschmidt Chapel of Elmhurst College.
Interment will be at Chapel Hill Gardens West.
Arrangements are by Ahlgrim Funeral Home in Elmhurst.
Memorials may be made to Schade Lecture Fund at Elmhurst College.
Rev. Schade was a professor of history at Elmhurst College and most recently served as archivist at the college.
Surviving are his wife, Hanna Schade, of Elmhurst; children, Rudolf G. and Lucinda Schade Jr. of LaGrange, and Ellen and Gregory Schade-Lambert of Bourbonnais; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Johanna Ilsanker; and one brother, Erich Schade.
He was a longtime member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Elmhurst.
He received an honorary degree from Eden Seminary in 1983.
He was a guest preacher through the Midwest. He preached in German at services at St. Paul's Church, Chicago, and Peace Memorial Church, Palos Park, for over 30 years.

WILMINGTON - Visitation for Ronald S. Woodruff, 68, of Wilmington, will be from 4 p.m. today until the 7 p.m. services at Reeves Funeral Home, Wilmington. Rev. Frank Vitus will officiate.

Mr. Woodruff died Saturday (Dec. 2, 2000) at Silver Cross Medical Center, Joliet, after a sudden illness.
He was former chief of police of Wilmington and former deputy sheriff in Ohio.
He was chief of security at Caterpillar Tractor Corp. for 32 years, director of security for the Colliseum in Cleveland, Ohio, and director of Public Safety in East Lake, Ohio-AFIO.
He was born Feb. 18, 1932, in Benton Harbor, Mich., the son of Gordon and Vida Woodruff. His father is deceased.
Surviving are his wife, Maria of Wilmington; his mother of Wilmington; two sons, Gordon and Jesse; five daughters and one son-in-law, Kathy, Cindy and Laura Woodruff, Mary and Jay Sams, and Julia Woodruff; one stepdaughter, Kristine; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and his former wives, JoAnna and Nancy, the mothers of his children.
Mr. Woodruff was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church.
Anna Steiner
BUCKLEY - Anna Lillie Steiner, 83, of Buckley, died Sunday (Dec. 3, 2000) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today and from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until the 10:30 a.m. services at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Roberts, where she was a member. Rev. Robert Downs will officiate.
Burial will be in Lyman Township cemetery, Roberts.
Memorials may be made to the Lutheran World Relief; the American Lutheran Church Women's Group of St. Paul's Lutheran Church; or to a charity of the donor's choice.
Lamb-Young Funeral Home, Roberts, is in charge of arrangements.
She was born June 24, 1917, in Wall Township, the daughter of Edward Ernest and Wilhelmina Alma Repp Kietzman.

Dec. 3, 1948, in Roberts; one daughter and son-in-law, Jacquelyn A. and Clarence Kelley of Rochester Hills, Mich.; one son and daughter-in-law, Richard K. and Janet Steiner of Monmouth; her twin sister, Marie Heeren of Danforth; one brother, Richard Kietzman of Roberts; and four grandchildren.
Two sisters and one brother are deceased.
Mrs. Steiner was a Sunday School teacher and was active in the women's groups of her church.
She enjoyed stamp and coin collecting, along with gardening, flowers and quilting.
Mrs. Steiner was a 4-H leader.

MAHOMET - Anna L. Dillman, 64, of Mahomet, formerly of Wilmington and Coal City, died Monday (Dec. 4, 2000) at the home of her daughter in Coal City.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the R.W. Patterson Funeral Homes, Braidwood, and from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel in Urbana, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday. Rev. James McClarey will officiate.
Burial will be in Fairfield cemetery, Newman. Pallbearers will be Rick and Jim Liggett, Shawn and J. Mykel Hill, Jeff Jarett and Jason Nelson.

She was born Nov. 17, 1936, in Edgewood, the daughter of Roland and Edith Buhrmann Liggett. Her parents are deceased.
