Ruth M. Kirkegaard, 70, of Lake Geneva, WI, formerly of Waukegan, died Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at Eagle River Hospital in Eagle River, WI. The former Ruth Josephsen was born September 9, 1934 in Libertyville, IL, the daughter of Alfred and Agnes (Wheeler) Josephsen. She was a graduate of Libertyville High School.
She married
Peder Kirkegaard on September 7, 1956 in Lake Forest, IL.
Ruth is survived by her husband, Peder; four children, Kim (Vicki) Kirkegaard of Pleasant Prairie, WI, Ingrid Kirkegaard of Land O' Lakes, WI, Kathy (Carl) Paglini of Twin Lakes, WI, and Mark Kirkegaard of Eagle River, WI; four grandchildren, Tracy, Brian, and Kari Kirkegaard and Christopher Saver; two sisters, Ann Bates and Jean Rose of Land O' Lakes; and two brothers, Edward Josephsen of Wadsworth, IL, and Alan Josephsen of Lake Forest, IL.
Services will be Saturday, March 26, 11:00 a.m. at the Haase-Derrick-Lockwood Funeral Home and Crematory in Lake Geneva, WI. Pastor Mark Moller-Gunderson of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church will officiate. The Kirkegaard family will receive visitors Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials have been requested in Ruth's name to: Children's Hospital of Milwaukee.

Norman Ronald Taylor (T-Bone) of Shelbyville, TN passed away on his 50th birthday. He was born March 17, 1955 in Waukegan, IL to the union of Dr. Rev. Norman Taylor and the late Georgia Ann Taylor.
Norman Taylor leaves to cherish is memory his father, Dr. Rev. Norman Taylor, Waukegan, IL; one son, Norman Taylor, Jr., North Chicago, IL; two brothers, Johnny Ware, Chicago, IL, Dennis Taylor, North Chicago, IL; one sister, Lynn Garrett, Waukegan, IL; one very special friend, Emma Tate, Shelbyville, TN and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and very dear friends.

Robert E. Drom, M.D.
Robert E. Drom, M.D., age 73, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2003 at St. Mary's Medical Center. Robert was born in Bloomington, IL December 8, 1929, son of the late Edwin and Ruth (nee Downs) Drom.
Robert was a graduate of Lyons Township Jr. College, LaGrange, IL and received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana, IL. He attended medical school at the University of Illinois, College of Medicine, Chicago, IL, graduating in 1955. He received many honors and recognitions, including Phi Beta Kappa, University of Illinois in 1951, University Honors, University of Illinois in 1952, Alpha Omega Alpha, University of Illinois, College of Medicine in 1954, Fellow American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in 1978. He served as Medical Director at the House of Correction and Branch Prison, Marquette, MI. He served in the Illinois National Guard and in the United States Navy Medical Corp, 1st Marine Division, Camp Pendleton, CA. Since November 1, 1981 he was employed at St. Luke's Memorial Hospital, St. Mary's Medical Center, Trinity Memorial Hospital, Cudahy, WI. While living in Racine he held the following positions including staff Psychiatrist, Associate Clinical Director of Adolescents, and served as chairman of the Psychiatry Department, Vice-President of the Medical Staff and Chief of Staff. He was a member of the American Psychiatric Association, Wisconsin Psychiatric Association, Racine County Medical Society, Taylor Home, Exchange Club of Racine, and Racine Academy of Medicine.
Robert was an extraordinary person. He will always be remembered as a most compassionate physician, a highly effective and loving parent, and a dedicated friend to many. His wonderful sense of humor and care and concern for others made him a most valued contributor to the community.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Welch Drom, P.H.D.; his daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer (Michael) Norris M.D. of Salt Lake City, UT; his sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel (Corrine) Drom of Houston, TX, Andrew (Barbara) Drom of Santa Fe, N.M.; his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Meagan and Kevin Norris, Claire and Katrin Drom, Dennis and Katherine Drom; sisters, Susan (Richard) Weber of Glen Ellyn, IL, Shirley Rouse of Windfield, IL; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Robert (Donna) Welch of Tallahassee, FL, Richard (Barbara) Welch of Sarasota, FL, Sherry Welch of Waukesha, WI, Barbara (Thomas) Lelder of Chicago, IL; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

Julane "Bunny" Eaton
Julane "Bunny" Eaton, 52, of Antioch, IL passed away Friday, March 21, 2003 at Condell Medical Center, Libertyville, IL after a brief illness. She was born April 8, 1950 in Mohall, North Dakota, the daughter of Lloyd and Helen (Lyngstad) Moberg. She attended schools in Mohall and Sherwood, ND and Lake Region Junior College in Devils Lake, ND. She studied Distributive Education and Business at Minot North Dakota State College. On October 24, 1970, she married
David L. Eaton in Sherwood, ND, moving to Antioch in 1989. Bunny was an avid crafter and quilter and operated Bunny's Stuff, a Quilting and pattern design business.
Survivors include her husband, David; her son, Jeff (Linda) Eaton; a daughter, Renea Eaton both of Antioch; her parents, Lloyd and Helen Moberg of Mohall, ND; two grandchildren, Tristan and Katlyn; four brothers, Kenneth (Sally) Moberg of Stilwell, KS, Mark (Eileen) Moberg of Bismark, ND, Virgil Moberg of St. Augustine, FL and John (Tina) Moberg of Washburn, ND; four sisters, Cassandra (Frank) Barrett of Fallon, NV, Leann (Craig) Knutson of Ashville, Manitoba, Canada, Kristie Moberg of Fallon, NV and Hallie (Todd) Burnett of Pensacola, FL.

Dagmar Ann Francis
Dagmar Ann Francis, 89 of Waukegan/Grayslake, passed away March 19, 2003 at Winchester House in Libertyville. She was born in South Range, MI September 25, 1913, the daughter of the late Anna (nee Blackbeard) and Jacob Hartwick. She owned and operated Francis Grocery and Dagmar's Figurama in Waukegan. She was a member of Calvary Temple Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Joy (Forrest) DeGraff; grandchildren Elizabeth (John) Mullen, Douglas DeGraff, Ann (Richard) Coles, Samual (Jill) Francis, and Sally Conover; 12 great-grandchildren; her sister Rose Pelto, daughter-in-law Sue Francis, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carlyle Francis; son James Francis, five brothers and a sister.

Robert A. Osborne
Robert A. Osborne, 59, of Zion, passed away on March 20, 2003 in Veteran's Westside Hospital in Chicago, following a brief illness.
Bob was born in Waukegan on December 18, 1943, and had lived in the Lake County area all of his life. He was a Vietnam War Veteran, and was retired from Johnson Motors. Bob enjoyed motorcycle riding, golfing, hunting and fishing.
Survivors include 5 daughters, Randy, Regina, Robin, Rochelle and Rhonda, 3 grandchildren, Nicholas, Amber and Logan and 2 brothers, Donald and Richard. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Jennie Osborne.

Mary M. Rutkowski (nee Mendis)
Mary M. Rutkowski (nee Mendis), 92, of Waukegan died Saturday, March 22, 2003. She was born August 14, 1910 in Chicago and lived most of her life in the Waukegan area. She worked at the National Envelope Co., Crystal Greetings and was a member of Queen of Peace Church, formerly Holy Rosary Church, The Apostleship of Prayer, and the Rosary Sodality.
Mary is survived by her son, Steve (Charlene) Rutkowski of Springfield, MO; her daughter, Teri (Bernard) Bakanec of Waukegan; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; six sisters, Josephine Mruk of Zion, Betty Savage of Kenosha, Bernice Roundtree of Buena Park, CA and Martha Madsen, Eva Jones and Stella McCarry of Zion.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen in 1979; her parents, John and Anna; her granddaughter, Stephanie West; two sisters, Florence Todd and Victoria Mendis; and four brothers, Frank, Adam, Stanley and John Mendis; three nephews, Walter and Chester Wegrzyn and Jim Sasavage.

He was born May 24, 1932 in Hammond, IN and died Saturday, March 22, 2003 at the Valley Lutheran Hospital in Phoenix, AZ.
Leon and his late wife Clara were the former owners of the Country Gardens in Grayslake and Lake Villa. He was also a member of the Gagewood Lions Club and a journeyman bricklayer Local 120.

Dorothy Taylor, 81, of Zion died on Satutday, March 22, 2003 at Rolling Hills Manor Nursing Home, Zion.
Dorothy was born May 20, 1921 in Detroit, Alabama and moved to Zion in 1951. She retired in 1978 from Abbott Laboratories.
Survivors include a son, Benny Frank (Linda) Taylor of Winthrop Harbor; a daughter, Diann Griffith of Zion; six grandchildren, Sandra (Howard) Davis, Timothy Taylor, Shera (Chuck) Smith, Susan (Phil) Dunteman, Laura Taylor and Michael Griffith; six great grandchildren, Amanda, Elizabeth, Matthwe, Jacob, Sarah and Abigail; a brother, Orville Scoggins of Hamilton, Alabama; a sister, Mary Dell (Randall) Knight of Hamilton, Alabama; and a special nephew, Marlin "Bo" Taylor of Winthrop Harbor.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Seldon; by a brother, Floyd Scoggins; and by two sisters, Geri Lee and Jesker.

Ernest Derreberry, age 97, died March 22, 2004. He was born March 14, 1907 to Brack and Ara Derreberry in Andrews, NC.
He is survived by three daughters, Margaret (Alvin) Jellings, Joan Savage and Roberta Willman. He is also survived by two sisters, Jane Bryson, age 104, and Lenna Pastell, age 102. He leaves 12 grandchildren, Richard (Mary Jane) Derreberry, Patti Jo (Jerry) Schuman, Beverly (David) Whitesell, Gloria (Michael Sr.) Capps, Laura (Edward) Shields, Alan (Gale) Jellings, Kimberly (Jose) Trevino, Randi (Debbie) Savage, Andy (Dyna) Savage, Sandy Miller, Philip Willman, Nancy Willman. Sandra L. Erickson
Sandra L. Erickson, 44 of Lake Villa, IL passed away Saturday, March 20, 2004 at home, due to sudden illness. She was born August 31, 1959 at Valley Forge, PA.
Miss Erickson was employed at Vista Health as a Nursing Supervisor. She was a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, the American Nurses Association and the Society of Critical Care Medicine. She was also a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority.
She is survived by her brother, Douglas Erickson; her aunt and uncle, Bill Curry, Jr., and Pat Ewing; nieces Tanya and Barbara Stone; a great niece and a great nephew; and a very close to her heart, lifelong friend, David Steele and the Steele family.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Delores and Glenn Erickson; and her maternal grandparents, Vera and Bill Curry.

Joseph Grahovac Jr.
Joseph Grahovac Jr., age 60, a lifelong resident of Gurnee, died March 20, 2004 at Pinnacle Health Care. He was born August 7, 1943 in Gurnee.
He was a member of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Third Lake. He was a retiree of Commonwealth Edison after 22 years of service from 1975-1997. He was a graduate of Warren Township High School 1961, past director and active member of the Kenosha Charter Harley Owners Group (HOG).
He is survived by two sons, Joseph Grahovac III and Jeffrey (Charlotte) Grahovac; two grandchildren, Emmaline Grace and Trenton Pierce Grahovac; mother, Jennie Grahovac,; two sisters, Bernice (Tom) Franks and Eileen (Bob) Lis; his former wife, Jane Grahovac-Noren; two nephews, Paul Peterson and Berndt Peterson Jr.; and one niece, Kelly Lis.
