M. Bruce Jackman, age 59, of Waukegan, IL died August 13, 2006 in Boynton Beach, FL. He was born May 29, 1947 in Chicago, IL. He was a retired registered nurse anesthetist.
He is survived by his daughter, Nicole Pacholski (Michael); and grandson, Hunter Stephen Pacholski; sister, Edith Draegert (Ken) Nephews, Sean Draegert (Heidi) and Mike Draegert; three great-nephews, Christopher, Paul and Steven Draegert; one great-niece, Alexandra Draegert; and his former wife, L. Amanda Jackman.
preceded in death by granddaughter, Hope Pacholski; mother and father, Juliette and Allen W. Jackman; and mother-in-law, Angelica Rosero.
Services will be held at Marsh Funeral Home, Saturday, August 19, 2006, 11:00 AM, T.M. Carroll will officiate. Burial will be at North Shore Garden of Memories. Visitation at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 cemetery Rd., from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 19, 2006.

Tyrus Damarcus Bell
Our beautiful Angel, Never to be forgotten, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2006 at Evanston Northwestern Hospital, Evanston, IL. He was born August 13, 2006.
He is the son of Shauntoya Watson, Zion, IL and Timothy Bell, Waukegan, IL and also survived by his brother Tyrik Bell; Maternal Grandmother Stacey Watson, Zion, IL; Paternal Grandmother Moseann Bell, Waukegan, IL and three special aunts Tyree and Mersia Watson, Waukegan, IL, and Lakisha Watson, Milwaukee, WI; and many other special relatives.
Graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2006 at 12:00 noon at North Shore Garden Baby cemetery, North Chicago, IL. Arrangements were entrusted to Marsh Funeral Homes of Waukegan, IL.
Calvin G. Weese
Calvin G. Weese 78, formerly Zion, died on Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at St. Mary's Hospital in Racine, WI.
Cal was born March 3, 1928 in Blue Island, IL, moving to Winthrop Harbor in 1953 and settling in Zion in 1963. He at attended night school at both Lake Forest College and Northwestern University. He was an active member of Christ Community Church where he taught Sunday School, he was involved in Camp Zion Ministries, the Church Men's Groups, the Usher's, the Passion Play and was a long time member of the Diaconate, among many other duties within the Church. He retired in 1994 following 17 years of service to Christ Community Church as the Church business manager. Prior to working at the Church, he worked with computers at various locations in the area. Cal was also a member of Gideon's International.
Survivors include his children, Kirk (Betsy) Weese of Union Grove, WI, Kristine (Doug) LaBelle of Pleasant Prairie, WI and Karin (Chad) Salerno of Kenosha, WI; seven grandchildren, Matt Weese, Daniel LaBelle, Luke LaBelle, Anna LaBelle, Caleb LaBelle, Devon Lynn and Cade Salerno; and siblings, Myrtle (Ed) Novak of Willowbrook, IL, Ellen Housley of Bettendorf, IA, Jane (Richard) Teutsch of Arlington Heights, IL, Carole (Jim) Cooprider of Hayward, WI, Dwain Weese of British Columbia, Canada, Ruth (Ken) Ulrich of Bourbonnais, IL and Doris (Joel) Heinecke of Manteno, IL.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Weese in 2004; one brother, Albert Weese; four sisters, Marion Stranz, Lela Weese, William Weese and Dutchie Heselton; his god-son, Mark Cooprider, and his parents William and Ellen Weese.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 19, 2006 at 1:30 pm at Christ Community Church, 2500 Dowie Memorial Drive, Zion, with Doug LaBelle, his son-in-law officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. Visitation will be Saturday, August 19, from 12:00 noon until time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to either Christ Community Church Missions, or the Camp Zion ministries of Christ Community Church have been suggested.
Janice Peterson
Janice Peterson, 69, of Grayslake, passed away on August 15, 2006 at Condell
Medical Center, Libertyville. Born January 20, 1937 in Chicago, IL.
Janice attended Grayslake Grade School, she was a vocal music teacher for 22 years, she was also a charter member of the United Protestant Church and Church choir director for 45 years.
Survived by her husband of 37 years, they were married
July 5, 1969 in Grayslake. She is also survived by daughter, Kathleen of Grayslake; son, Carl of Wauwatosa, WI; grandchildren, Amber Baillargeon, and Jessica Baillargeon both of Grayslake.

Peter Sith
Peter Sith, age 50 of Fox Lake, died August, 2006 at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood. He was born October 11, 1955 in Czechoslovakiaa to Frantisek & Julia (nee Saydlova) Sith. A loving husband and father, Peter was involved in the Boy Scouts and was a member of St. Bede's Church.
Survivors include his wife, Anna; his son, Karol; daughter, Petra; his aforementioned parents; his sister, Adi Tarhovicka; and his son-in-law Brad Dausman.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, August 21 at St. Bede Catholic Church, 364-55 N Wilson Rd, Ingleside. Interment will follow at Ascension cemetery in Libertyville.

Delores C. "Laurie" Steinburg
Delores C. "Laurie" Steinburg, age 80, of Round Lake Park, died Tuesday, August 15, 2006, at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.
She was born October 10, 1925 in Chicago to Charles and Susie (Freres) Steffen. Born and raised in Chicago, Delores attended Lakeview High School. She moved with her husband to Round Lake Park in 1954.
Delores was a volunteer at Lake Forest Hospital and was an active member of the Round Lake Community Church Women's group. She enjoyed cooking, baking, crafts, and especially painting. She loved animals and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include three children, Paul W. (Sandy) Steinburg of Round lake Beach, Bruce W. (Rosanelle) Steinburg of Antioch and Richard L. (Gloria) Steinburg of Shawano, WI; ten grandchildren, Paul (Stephanie) Steinburg of Portage, IN, Mark (Meggie) Steinburg of Portage, IN, Matt (Martha) Steinburg of Round Lake, Scott Steinburg of Round Lake, Brian Steinburg of Rockford, Neal Steinburg of Chicago, Shannon Steinburg of Lake Villa, Travis Steinburg of Appleton, WI, Rheanna (Mike) Walsh of Gurnee, Lauren Steinburg of Antioch and Lesley Steinburg of Antioch; fourteen great grandchildren, Andrea, Sean, Gina, Melissa, Michaela, Mark, Samantha, Amanda, Maxine, Nina, Ethan, William, John, and Michael; a sister, Mary Johnson of Mundelein; a brother-in-law, Lou (Joan) Steinburg of Normal; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul L. Steinburg in 1991; her parents; and step-mother, Ruth Steffen in 2004.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2006 at Justen's Round Lake Funeral Home, 222 N. Rosedale Court (at Cedar Lake Road), Round Lake, IL 60073.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 19, at the funeral home. The Rev. Dave Patterson will officiate.

Jonathan D. Wald
Jonathan D. Wald, 39, of Beach Park, died on Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. He was born November 15, 1966 in Brooklyn, New York and moved to this area 3 years ago. He owned and operated Tile Master of Beach Park and prior to that was a Sales Executive for K International of Gurnee. He also enjoyed motorcycle riding and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa U. Wald; children, Christopher N. Wald of Beach Park, Steven Wald of New York, Andrea Manzano of Beach Park and Analisa Esperagoza of California; two grandchildren, Kaylani Lee Esperagoza and Denali Esperagoza of California; his mother, Sandra Miller of New York; his step-mother, Annel Wald of New Jersey; one step-brother, Matthew Revels of New Jersey; and one aunt, Judy Brockner of California.
He was preceded in death by his fatter, Robert Allen Wald.

Rita M. Geske
Mrs. Rita M. Geske age 90 of 935 Dayton Dr. Galesburg IL died at 7:25 PM Tuesday August 15, 2006 in Cottage Hospital.
She was born January 15, 1916 in Burlington, WI the daughter of Walter and Elizabeth Zewe Schwarz. She married
Charles J. Geske on January 15, 1938 in Waukegan, IL. He died January 6, 1981.
She is survived by two daughters Connie Heck of Quincy, IL and Sheila (husband Claire) Larson of Galesburg IL, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother and a son-in-law.
She worked clerical for Johnson Motors. She also worked as a bookkeeper for Gale Products. She worked for ten years retiring in 1941. She was a homemaker. She was raised in Bloomington IL and graduated from Bloomington High School in 1935. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2 PM Saturday August 19, 2006 in Northshore Garden of Memories 1801 Greenbay Rd. North Chicago, IL. Memorials can be made to the Charity of the Donors Choice. HINCHLIFF-PEARSON-WEST, Inc., Galesburg Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Irena Janas
Irena Janas, 87, of Des Plaines, IL, passed away suddenly, Monday, August 14, 2006 from injuries received in an automobile accident. She was born October 18, 1919 in Poland and came to live in the United states in 1983. Irena was a former Libertyville resident, living in Des Plaines for the past several years.
Surviving are two children, Andrew (Eva) Janas of Libertyville, Zofia Misiorowska of Palm Coast, FL; and four grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanislaw Janas in 1981.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, August 21 at the BURNETT-DANE FUNERAL HOME, 120 W. Park Ave. (Rt. 176), Libertyville, with the Rev. Fr. Sharon L. Klamka
Sharon L. Klamka, 62, of Zion, IL, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2006 at the Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. She was born January 13, 1944 in Chicago, was a former 13 year resident of Libertyville and has lived in Zion for the past 12 years.
Sharon was a 1962 graduate of Fremd High School in Palatine and a former 18 year employee of Medline Industries in Mundelein.
Surviving are her husband, Jason Klamka of Zion; four children, Kimberley (Matt) Leone of McHenry, Melissa (Scott) Kelley of Marengo, Carl (Cathy) Gustafson of Crystal Lake and Heather Gustafson of Stoughton, WI; five grandchildren, Nichole, Jonathan, Danielle, Paige and Olivia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Irene Berger; and by her brothers, Robert, Donald and Lee Berger.

LeAnna Kay Fischer
LeAnna Kay Fischer (nee Congdon), 60, of Zion died on Saturday, August 16, 2003 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.
LeAnna was born May 24, 1943 in Zion. She, along with her husband, Lee, owned and operated Mt. Olivet Memorial Park in Zion. She also served as Treasurer of the Oakdale cemetery Association. LeAnna enjoyed volunteer work and was an active member of many charitable organizations including Zonta, Eastern Star and the Zion-Benton Athletic Booster Club. She was also a professional member of Illinois cemetery and Funeral Home Association, International cemetery and Funeral Home Association and Metropolitan Chicago cemetery Officials. She also enjoyed gathering with her close friends once a month for Girls Club.
LeAnna is survived by her husband, Lee, whom she married
on October 13, 1963 in Zion; three daughters LeNah Klinger, LeNora (Rick) Lambert and LeNette Livingston all of Winthrop Harbor; one son Lewis Fischer of Zion; two brothers Loren (Margaret) Congdon of Winthrop Harbor and Gary; her sisters-in-law Pam Congdon of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Mary Lou Congdon of Wildwood, Illinois; her mother-in-law Lucille Fischer of Zion; many aunts, uncles and cousins; numerous nieces and nephews she loved dearly; and her dear friend Judy Blagg. The joys of her life were her six grandchildren Ashley and Breanna Klinger, Alyssa, Lindsey and Jake Lambert and Kendal Livingston. She was preceded in death by her parents Everett and Evangeline Congdon, her brother Ardsley P. Congdon, a nephew Caleb Everett Congdon and grandparents Ralph R. Pihl and Florence Sweeney Pihl and Ray Congdon and Bessie Connors Congdon.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at Christ Community Church, 2500 Dowie Memorial Drive, Zion, with Rev. Roger W. Ottersen and Pastor Jon Wiziarde officiating.
