Peter Sith
Peter Sith, age 50 of Fox Lake, died August, 2006 at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood. He was born October 11, 1955 in Czechoslovakia to Frantisek & Julia (nee Saydlova) Sith. A loving husband and father, Peter was involved in the Boy Scouts and was a member of St. Bede's Church.
Survivors include his wife, Anna; his son, Karol; daughter, Petra; his aforementioned parents; his sister, Adi Tarhovicka; and his son-in-law Brad Dausman.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, August 21 at St. Bede Catholic Church, 36455 N Wilson Rd, Ingleside. Interment will follow at Ascension cemetery in Libertyville.

Toussaint L. Tate Sr.

Mr. Toussaint L. Tate Sr., age 78, died Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at the Claremore Veterans Center.
Graveside Services were held on Tuesday, August 8, 2006 at Ft. Gibson National cemetery in Ft. Gibson, Oklahoma, with Pastor Tim Johnston officiating. Military Honors were conducted by the American Legion Post 308 of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Mr. Tate was born on August 16, 1927 in Beggs, Oklahoma, to Ed and Tenna (Williams) Tate. He enlisted in the US Army on December 12, 1945 and was honorably discharged on May 22, 1947. After his discharge, he became a Machinist and was employed with the Naval Ammunition Plant at Great Lakes Navy Training Center, Great Lakes, Illinois until his retirement in 1993.
He is survived by his loving wife, Francis; daughter, Vicky Ann; four sons, Robert, Toussaint Jr., Walter and George; sister, Jacqueline; and brother, James; 22 grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one son, Marvin.
Ruby Sarah Roberts
Ruby Sarah Roberts (nee Enlow), 88, of Waukegan, died on Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at Winchester House in Libertyville.
Ruby is survived by her son, Lee (Deanna) Roberts of Gurnee; her daughter-in-law, Sheila Roberts (nee Wilson) of California; her son-in-law, Ken Holverson of Gurnee; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; her sister, Joan Ray (nee Enlow) of Florida; her brother, Howard (Janet) Enlow of Wadsworth; and many Otterbacher and Enlow nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her son, Harold "Butch" Roberts; her daughter, Diann Holverson (nee Roberts); one sister, Rachel Kuxhausen (nee Enlow); and her parents, J. Wesley and Minnie (nee Otterbacher) Enlow.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2006, at 10:30a.m. at Mr. Olivet Memorial Park, 1436 Kenosha Road, Zion. There will be no visitation per Ruby's request. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to either of the following: Seasons Hospice Care, 606 Potter Road, Des Plaines, IL 60016, or Winchester House - 5th floor, 1125 N. Michael Pietschman
Michael Pietschman, 62, of Beach Park passed away on Friday, August 18, 2006 at his home with his family by his side. He was born on March 17, 1944 in Waukegan to the late Donald W. and Lucille (Tyrrell) Pietschman. He married
Judy L. Craft on January 12, 1963 in Waukegan.
Surviving Michael are his loving wife of 43 years, Judy, sons, Kevin (Barb) Pietschman of Twin Lakes, WI, Tom (Cindy) Pietschman of Beach Park, daughter, Debbie (Jack) Mansell of Vallejo, CA, brothers, Donald Pietschman of Gurnee, Cary "Corky" (Pat) Pietschman of Waukegan, Max Pietschman of Waukegan, John Pietschman of Waukegan, grandchildren, Michelle (Joe) Sosnowski of Bristol, WI, Jessica Pietschman of Winthrop Harbor, Michael Mansell of Vallejo, CA, Amber Pietschman of Beach Park, Brendon Pietschman of Twin Lakes, WI, Tyler Pietschman of Beach Park, one great granddaughter, Monica Madden of Bristol, WI and several nieces and nephews and his dog, his loving companion, Peaches.
Michael fought a courageous five year battle with cancer. He was a very dedicated husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved life, NASCAR, the Chicago Cubs and his immaculate garage. He was loved and will be missed by the large number of friends he had and his loving family.
Friends may meet with the family on Sunday, August 20, 2006 from 3-7 PM at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. cemetery Rd, Gurnee. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 21, 2006 at 1:00 PM with visitation one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be private at Warren cemetery, Chapel of Peace Mausoleum.

Florence A. Tubbs
Florence A. Tubbs, 99 of Libertyville, died Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. She was born May 24, 1907 in Chicago to Theodore & Frieda (nee Beck) Strack.
Florence was an active member of the Warren Township community, loved to play cards and bingo, and was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Waukegan.
Survivors include her daughter Joanne Smith, former owner of Gages Lake Campgrounds; her grandchildren Janice, David, Cheryl, Susan, Sheri, Steven, Sue, and Mike, her 15 great-grandchildren, her 6 great-great-grandchildren, and a daughter-in-law Mary Tubbs.
Her husband of 50 years, Ora Tubbs, Sr., her son Ora Tubbs, Jr., her brother Buddy Strack, her granddaughter Nancy, and her sister Lucille Scheuer all precede her in death.

Richard W. "Dick" Davis, Sr.
Richard w. "Dick" Davis, Sr., 84, a recent resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2006 at his home.
He was born July 8, 1922 in Chicago and had been a former 56 year resident of Algonquin. Mr. Davis was a retired roofing contractor and owner of Midwest Roofing Company in Algonquin. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps, having served during WWII. He was a member of the Quentin Road Bible Baptist Church in Lake Zurich and enjoyed raising, breeding and training quarter horses.
Surviving are his loving wife of 63 years, Bette Davis of Saddlebrook Farms in Grayslake; two children, Richard (Shannon) Davis of Mundelein and Carole (Rev. Dr. Tim) Erickson of Tomah, WI; four grandchildren, Taylor and Amanda Davis and Douglas and Angela Erickson.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. with the funeral service during the visitation at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 22 at the BURNETT-DANE FUNERAL HOME, 120 W. Park Ave. (Rt. 176) Libertyville. An interment service for the family will be held Wednesday morning at Mount Emblem cemetery in Elmhurst. Stanley Andrew Grum, Jr
Stanley Andrew Grum Jr., of Gainesville FL, rejoined his wife Margaret August 16, 2006. Born August 8, 1930, he remained a Lake County resident for over 60 years. Stanley graduated from Libertyville HS in 1948. Long time member of the Waukegan Moose Lodge and Libertyville American Legion.
Served in Korea from 1952 to 1954 as part of the UN peace keeping force. Retired from Commonwealth Edison after 40 years of service. Avid golfer and 50+ years participating in the American Bowling Congress.
He will be remembered for his warm spirit and generous humor.
He is survived by his sister Vida (Yarc) of Libertyville, his children, James, David, Roger, Roberta (Watson), Valerie (Tokars) and 8 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday August 20 at Bonnie Brook Golf Club in Waukegan.
Donations may be made to the National Organization of Albinis and Hypopigmen-tation (NOAH) or The Leukemia-Lymphoma Society.
Aubrey Thorn
Aubrey Thorn, 66, Beach Park died August 16, 2006 at home. Aubrey was born December 1, 1939 in Guntown, MS. He attended high school in Zion, and retired from Johnson Motors Corporation in Waukegan.
Aubrey served four years in the U. S. Air Force and was stationed in Okinawa. He enjoyed spending spending time with his children and grandchildren
He is survived by three dauhgters, Linda and Debbie Thorn of Kenosha, Sherry (Ray) Heid of Azle, TX; six grandchildren, David Jenny, Heather, Savannah, Brian and Nikki; a great grandchild; a sister, Carolyn Thorn; and an uncle, Siniard (Gwen) Pate.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Elmer and Bertha Thorn; and his siblings, Doris Harris and Everett Thorn.
A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at 7 PM at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion. Visitation will be from 6 PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the family would be appreciated.
James A. Ferrier
James A. Ferrier, 84 years old of Bellaire, Fl formerly of Antioch, IL passed away Monday, July 31, 2006 at Oak Manor Nursing Center, Largo, FL. He was born December 30, 1921 in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada the son of the late Robert and Janet (O'Brien) Ferrier.
James lived in Antioch since 1950, moving to Trevor in 1993, and then to Bellaire, FL in 1995. He served in the US Army during WWII, was a member of the Sequoit Masonic Lodge #827 A. F. & A. M and a member of the Lindenhurst Trinity United Methodist Church.
After his retirement from Great Lakes Naval Base in 1965 where he was a sheet metal worker, he operated the Lakes Region Roller Rink in Antioch, worked in maintenance for the former State Bank of Antioch and delivered papers for the Advertiser. On June 1, 1942 he married
Betty Huddleston and she preceded him in death on August 2, 1994.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy whom he married
December 21, 1996; his daughter, Patricia (Irving) Metz of Trevor, WI; his two grandchildren, Regine (Thomas) Lechner of Mundelein and Tracy (Jerry) Brewer of Silver Lake, WI; and his three great grandchildren, Andrew, Austin and Rebecca.
In addition to his first wife, he was preceded in death by his two sisters, Elizabeth Price and Jean Timko.
Memorial visitation will begin at 5:00 PM on Wednesday August 23, 2006 at the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH, 1055 Main St. (Rte 83) with Masonic Services at 7:00 PM. Interment of ashes will be private in Millburn cemetery, Old Mill Creek, IL.
Herbert A. Weigel, Sr.
Herbert A. Wiegel, 75 years old of Antioch, IL passed away Friday, August 18, 2006 at St. Catherine Medical Campus West, Pleasant Prairie, WI. He was born March 24, 1931 in Melrose Park, IL the son of the late Alexander and Amelia (Fritzler) Wiegel, moving to Antioch in 1965. He served as an MP in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Melrose Park. He retired as a sergeant after 22 years of service with the Maywood Police Department and continued to work in maintenance at the Antioch Community High School and then as a security guard for Sequoit Harbor.
On March 7, 1959 he married
Judith Duncan in Berwyn, IL.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Judith; his two sons, Herbert, Jr. of Antioch and Jeffrey (Jennifer) of Genoa City, WI; his two grandchildren, Marissa and Morgan; and his two sisters-in law, Frances and Violet. In additon to his parents, he was preceded in death by his four brothers, Edward, Leo, Richard, and Harold; and his sister, Emma.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH, 1055 Main St. (Rte 83) with Pastor Darald Gruen of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Hillside cemetery, Antioch. Visitation will be held from 4 PM until 8 PM Monday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Antioch Rescue Squad or Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church.

James "Bud" L. Cooprider, 78, formerly of Winthrop Harbor, IL., died Saturday, August 18, 2001 in Kenosha, WI.
Born October 31, 1922 in Antioch, IL., he was the son of the late Hobart M. and Cecilia G. (Garrison) Cooprider. On July 30, 1988 he married
Bertha Bray.
Beloved father of Jim (Marge) Cooprider, Kenny (Betty) Cooprider, Wanda (Harold) Stanford, Janet (roger) Huff; cherished brother of Mavis Aldright and Dudley (Ramona) Cooprider.
