Oliver Dale Olmsted
Oliver Dale Olmsted, 46, of Ingleside formerly of Grayslake passed away Sunday, September 26, 2004 at Northern Illinois Medical Center in McHenry. Born October 10, 1957 in Chicago. The son of the late Oliver Francis (Joan) Olmsted.
Oliver was self-employed and an Entrepreneur who started "Ultimate Charters" which caters to Weddings, Private Outings, and Special Occasions. He faithfully attended Fox Lake Community Church and enjoyed bowling, Poker, and most of all his loving children.
He leaves his loving intended: Patty Pedraja; His children: Daniel, David, Raven, Eric and Olivia. Sister: Debbie (Rick) Tipton; Brother: Rick Olmsted; His; His "Aunt Kitty" and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 1, 2004 at Fox Lake Community Church 25 Big Hollow Rd. Fox Lake, Illinois 60020 with Pastor Wayne Christensen officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens cemetery 2501 E. Euclid Ave. in Arlington Heights. Friends of the family may visit at the STRANG FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM 410 E. David Allen Steffens
David Allen Steffens, 46, of Fox Chapel, PA, died suddenly on September 20, 2004. He was born in Cleveland, OH but moved to Fox Chapel at an early age. As a boy, he swam competitively and became a member of the Pittsburgh Field Club Swim Team.
He was graduate of Shady Side Academy and attended the University of Ohio. David was the president of Single Source Computers, but has spent the last few years caring for his elderly parents in FL.
He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed music and concerts. His brother John in 1979 and his father Robert in 2003 preceded him in death.
Survivors are his mother, Eleanor Stratton Steffens; his sister, Laura (Raymond) Murray; nephews, Robert and Raymond and many cousins.
A memorial visitation will be held from 4 until 6 p.m. Wednesday, September 29, 2004 at the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH, 1055 Main St. (Rte. 83) Antioch.
Private interment of his cremains will be in E. Fox Lake cemetery, Lake Villa, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Red Cross Hurricane Relief Fund, in his memory.
Rose Wheeler
Rose Wheeler, 90, of Lindenhurst, formerly of Round Lake, died Monday, September 27, 2004 at Victory Lakes Continuing Care Center in Lindenhurst. She was born August 22, 1914 in Chicago to Joseph and Anna Krol.
Rose had lived in Round Lake since 1914, the last 10 years she has been a resident at Victory Lakes Continuing Care Center in Lindenhurst. Rose was a homemaker. She loved to read and she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth (Mary) Wheeler of Grayslake and Edward Wheeler of Round Lake; three grandchildren, Kenneth (Maria) Wheeler of Round Lake, Dawn (Scott) Wheeler of Wauconda and Karen (Lonnie) Langel of West Milton; two great grandchildren, Kenneth and Joshua; a brother, Stanley Krol of Chicago; and a sister, Irene Thuring of Las Vegas, NV.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward (January 4, 1992); a daughter-in-law, Dolores Wheeler (July 9, 1999); her parents; a brother, Roman Krol; and three sisters, Lavern Krol, Sally Haas and Wanda Skupin.
Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until 11:30 AM on Thursday, September 30, 2004 at JUSTEN'S ROUND LAKE FUNERAL HOME, 222 N. Rosedale Ct. (at Cedar Lake Road), Round Lake, IL.
The funeral service will be at 11:30 AM on Thursday, September 30th at the funeral home. The Rev. Lisle Kauffman officiating. Interment will be in Willow Lawn Memorial Park, Vernon Hills. Reverend Father Haroutiun Dagley
Reverend Father Haroutiun Dagley passed away suddenly on September 17, 2002. Burial services were held at the St. Gregory of Narek Armenian Church of Cleveland, OH with the wake service on September 20th, and Divine Liturgy on September 21 with the final anointing of Fr. Dagley and the burial rite immediately following. His final resting place took place in Detroit, Michigan.
Father Dagley was born Randolph Haig Dagley in Boston, 1956 to Wallace and Haigo Dagley. He is survived by his wife Patricia; daughter Sona; son Sarkis; Mother Haigo; brother Nishan and sister Anita.
Fr. Haroutiun made the decision to become a pastor of the Armenian Church and began the period of training that would lead to his ordination into the sacred priesthood.
He began working at St. James Church of Watertown, MA as youth director. While working there he also served as the part-time New England regional youth director. While there, in 1989, he married
Patricia Ann Anahid Sarkisian. They were blessed with two children, Sona and Sarkis.
After four years at St. James, Fr. Haroutiun went to study at the Patriachate of Jerusalem for 10 months. Returning to the United States, he began serving in the Church of our Saviour in Worcester, MA as assistant to the pastor while studying at St. Nersess Seminary.
Ordained a priest by Archbishop Khajag Barsamian on February 4, 1996, Fr. Haroutiun served in St. George Armenian Church in Waukegan, IL until 1999 when he began serving at St. Gregory of Narek in Cleveland, OH.
Fr. Haroutiun served on the Diocesan Council, and was the Diocesan representative to the Eco-Justice Working Group Environmental Task Force of the National Council of Churches of Christ. Along with serving St. Gregory of Narek, he was a visiting pastor to mission parishes in Columbus, OH, and Erie, PA; and had just completed his first summer as director of Midwest Regional Hye-Camp. He was also treasurer of the Clergy Assistance Fund. As a priest, Fr. Haroutiun took every aspect of his vocation with the utmost seriousness helping others, whether as a pastor or simply as a friend. He was fortunate to share his life of ministry, its blessings as well as its burdens, with a loving and supportive wife and family.
The Parish Council and parishioners of the St. George Armenian Church of Waukegan convey their deepest sympathies to Fr. Haroutiun's family, and to the many souls he touched during his all too brief ministry. May he rest in peace with our Lord whom he served so devotedly in life.

Santina Silvia Di Pietro, nee Giuliani, age 63, of Highwood passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2002 at Highland Park Hospital. Born January 23, 1939 in Nerito, Italy she has been a resident of Highwood since 1957. She was a member of St. James Church, Highwood.
Survivors include her husband Peter Di Pietro; a son, Michael (Rose) Di Pietro of Mundelein; two grandchildren, Casondra and Peter; a brother, Michael (Vanna) Giuliani of Colorado; two sisters, Irene (late Guy) Sciarrone of Highwood and Franca (Frank) Catini of Algonquin and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, September 30, 2002 10:00 a.m. at St. James Church, 134 North Abe., Highwood. Entombment will follow at Ascension cemetery, Libertville. Juan A Lopez
Juan A. Lopez, 71, of Round Lake Beach, IL, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2002, at the Pavilion in Waukegan, IL.
He was born on November 17, 2002 in Lubbock, TX, the son of the late Concepcion and Herminio Lopez. He was a resident of the Round Lake area for the past 30 years. On June 6, 1951, he married
the former Carmen Garcia.
He is survived by his wife, Carmen; his children, John (Mary Ann Horvath) Lopez, Ralph (Onie Hurt) Lopez, Rudy (Doloras) Lopez, Ray (Sue) Lopez, Alice (Mike Morales) Robinson, Jo Ann (Tom Aronson) Lopez and Nancy (Demetrio) Lopez-Mora; 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Herminio, Arturo, Melinda, Alfonso, and Hortencia.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jose.
Funeral services will be at 9:15 a.m. on Monday, September 30, 2002 from Ringa Funeral Home, 122 S. Rte. 83, Lake Villa, IL to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Round Lake, IL for a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass. Interment will be at Ascension cemetery, Libertville, IL. Visitation will be on Sunday, 2 to 6 p.m.
Dorothy Parker
Dorothy Parker, age 57, of Chicago, Illinois passed away on September 23, 2002 at the Cook County Hospital, Chicago, Illinois. She was born in Catron, Missouri on August 20, 1945. Dorothy graduated from Waukegan Township High School, Waukegan, IL and was a former resident of Waukegan for many years where she worked at Ocean Spray, Inc., North Chicago, IL for 20 years. She also provided day care services and was a community activist.
Dorothy leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Rebecca Buchanan, three brothers, Robert Redmon, Jr., Robert Buchanan and Johnny Buchanan, Jr.; six sisters, Theresa Redmon-Washington, Sharon Parker-Noel, Cupid Parker-Lakes, Sheila Redmon, Ruby Redmon-Coleman and Dezzie Parker-Coleman; a godson, London Buckner; also several nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Redmon, a brother, Waymond Buchanan, a sister, Sandra Redmon.

James W. Schlosser
James W. Schlosser, 71, of Grayslake, IL, formerly of Waukegan, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2002 at Provena-St. Therese Medical Center. He was born January 28, 1931 in Waukegan. He was an avid baseball and softball player in Waukegan and started the umpire's union. He played minor league baseball in the Chicago Cubs organization from 1950 to 1952 as a catcher and left fielder. He also belonged to the Swedish Glee Club. He retired from Johnson Motors after 30 years of employment and retired from Park Place (Waukegan Senior Center) in 1999.
Survivors include his wife Theresa; 4 children James (Anita) Schlosser of Ames, IA, Evelyn (Thomas) Jadrich of Lindenhurst, Joseph (Cathy) Schlosser of Waukegan and Daniel (Nancy) Schlosser of Grayslake; 6 grandchildren Kristen, Jennifer, Drew, Zoe, Dawn, and Rudy; 2 great grandchildren Skye and Kylie; mother Evelyn Schlosser of Waukegan; 3 sisters Rosemary (George) Owens of Grayslake, Betty (Stan) Smith of Beach Park and Ione (John) Picou of Waukegan; 1 brother John (Eileen) Schlosser of Kenosha, WI; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Franklin in 1981 and one nephew, Mark Schlosser in 2001.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 30, 2002 at MARSH FUNERAL HOME OF GURNEE, 305 cemetery Rd. Burial will be at Millburn cemetery in Millburn, IL. Visitation is from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
Lucille Schramer (nee Klein)
Lucille Schramer (nee Klein), 83, of Libertyville died Friday, September 27, 2002 at Victory Lakes, Lindenhurst. Mrs. Schramer was born November 9, 1918 in Winfield, IL and had lived most of her life in Libertyville. She was a member of St. Joseph Parish, Libertyville and the Guild of the B.V.M. Mrs. Schramer had served as a volunteer at Condell Medical Center Gift Shop and until recently had been an avid bowler.
She is survived by her children, Dennis (Kim) Schramer of Oak Creek, WI, Darlene (Terrance) Sugrue of Ingleside, IL and Michael (Michelle) Schramer of Lake Villa; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; her brothers, Lauren (Arlette) Klein and Raymond (Lucille) Klein; and her sister, Florence Wurtz.
Mrs. Schramer was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Raymond.
Funeral Services will be at 9:30 AM Wednesday October 2, 2002 from McMURROUGH CHAPEL, 101 Park Place, Libertyville to St. Joseph Church for Mass at 10 AM. Interment will be at Ascension cemetery, Libertyville. Visitation Tuesday, October 1 from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home.

Vivian Lindquist White
Vivian Lindquist White, 81, a lifelong resident of Lake Forest and Lake Bluff, died September 27, 2002. She was born in Lake Forest, July 25, 1921 to Victor and Lydia Lindquist. She worked as the secretary to the Principal of Cherokee School in Lake Forest for 12 years, retiring in 1973.
Vivian was the wife of the late William J. White (1998); Mother of Robert (Barbara), Richard (the late Donna), James (Patricia) and David (Elizabeth); Grandmother of Christopher, Brian, Michael, Kevin, Kathleen and Kelly; Great Grandmother of Danielle; Sister of the late Richard Lindquist and Lycke Hooper.
Memorial service will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 1 at the Grace United Methodist Church, 244 E. Center, Lake Bluff. There will be no visitation. Interment will be private. Funeral services for Rhennetta Ann Bork (nee Korbick), 63, will be held at 11 AM Wednesday at MARSH FUNERAL HOME, 305 cemetery Road, Gurnee.
Born December 29, 1940, in Chicago, she died Friday, September 24, 2004, at the University of Chicago Mitchell Hospital, Chicago. Burial will be private.
Rhennetta was a member of Cardinal Strich Retreat House in Mundelein. She was a housekeeping supervisor and a loving wife and mother.
She is survived by her husband, Jerome; her sons, Jerome (Lori) of Mitchell, S.D., Ernest (Cindy) of Vernon, S.D., and Randall (Tracy) of Spearfish, S.D.; her grandchildren, Hunter, Rhennetta and Reva; her sister, Jackie (Maurice) Thompson of Portland, Ore.; her sister-in-law, Maria Bork of Carmel, Ind.; and by numerous family members.
Visitation will be from 10 AM until the time until the time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
