Jamie L. Hoebbel
Jamie L. Hoebbel, 21, of Grayslake, formerly of Round Lake, died suddenly Thursday, September 23, 2004 at St. Catherine, Kenosha, Wisc.
She was born July 26, 1983 in Hoffman Estates, the loving daughter of Patricia and Greg Warren.
Jamie was a resident of Round Lake for 10 years with her family and currently resided in Grayslake. She was a 2001 graduate of Round Lake Community High School, District 116. She was employed the last five months by Clarence Davids & Company, Landscape Management. She was a wonderful writer of poetry, she loved music, spending time with her family and lived her life to the fullest.
Survivors include her parents of Crystal Lake; a sister, Carly Warren of Crystal Lake; three brothers, Joseph Warren of Carbondale (Southern Illinois University), D.J. Warren of Crystal Lake and Zachary Warren of Crystal Lake; her maternal grandparents, John (Karen) Pech of Wood Dale; paternal grandparents, Wayne (Dolores) Warren of West Plains, MO; aunts and uncles, Robert Molitor of Hoffman Estates, Walter (Laurel) Tubilewicz of Bartlett, Wayne Warren Jr. of Port Barrington, MO, Vickie (Benjamin) Gambino of Kildeer, Rene Collins of Dora, MO and Linda Pauhl of West Plains, MO; and a great aunt, Deborah (Dino) Tomburello.
Visitation will be from 3 until 8 PM on Monday, September 27, 2004 at JUSTEN'S ROUND LAKE FUNERAL HOME, 222 N. Rosedale Court (at Cedar Lake Road), Round Lake, IL, 60073.
The funeral service will be at 8 PM on Monday, September 27, at the funeral home with the Rev. Lisle Kauffman officiating. Inurnment will be private. Memorials to Save-A-Pet, Inc. 31664 N. Fairfield Road, Grayslake, IL, 60030, would be appreciated by the family.

Marian Lienhardt (nee Meyer), 87, of Schaumburg.
Beloved wife of the late Michael Lienhardt; loving mother of Michael (Dawn) Lienhardt, Jim (Sharon) Lienhardt and Patricia (Bob) Hovet; cherished grandmother of Penny (Larry) Kraft, Tim Lienhardt, Mark (Renee) Lienhardt, Chris (Denise) Lienhardt, Jennifer (James) Varney and Jason (Kim) Lienhardt; great grandmother of 11; dear sister of the late Louis Meyer Jr.
Visitation at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 330 W. Golf Rd, Schaumburg, Sunday from 3 PM until time of service at 6:45 PM. Interment Monday will be private for the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials will be appreciated for the United Methodist Church of Antioch.
Robert H. Markle Jr.
Robert H. Markle Jr., a resident of Round Lake Beach passed away suddenly Wednesday, September 22, 2004 in Mundelein, IL at the age of 48. He was born July 24, 1956 in Chicago to his parents Shirley and the late Robert H. Markle Sr. Robert was a well respected tree surgeon from the North Shore area for many years. He attended Calvary Presbyterian Church in Round Lake and loved Harley Davidson motorcycles.
Robert is survived by his fiancee, Susan Krook; his mother, Shirley Kaufer; his step father, Claude Kaufer; three aunts, two uncles; and numerous cousins.
A funeral service is schedules for Monday, September 27, 2004 at 11 AM at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 E. Belvidere Rd., Grayslake, IL, 60030. Interment will be held immediately after the service at Evergreen cemetery in Barrington, IL. Friends of the family may visit on Sunday, September 26, 2004 from 3 PM until 7 PM. Charlie S. Moberly
Charlie S. Moberly (Moe) passed away September 20, 2004 at his home. Charlie was born November 23, 1912 in Kentucky.
Charlie was a WWII and Korean Conflict veteran, serving his country three decades and retiring as a Naval officer. Charlie enjoyed his second career and retired as a supervisor for Johnson Motors.
Charlie was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Maurice (Peek) and their daughter, Charlene.
He is survived by his son, Charlie; his half brother, Gene Reynolds; many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and close friends who love him and will miss him.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 26, 2004 from 11-1pm at MARSH FUNERAL HOME in Waukegan, 1521 Washington St. Services will follow visitation at 1 PM at MARSH FUNERAL HOME.
Howard William Peskator
Howard William Peskator, 81, of Gurnee passed away Thursday, September 23, 2004 at St. Therese Hospital. He was born March 8, 1923 in Chicago, IL. He was a member of St. Dismas Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, American Legion, Polish V.F.W., Moose Club, A.W.W.A. and the Boy Scouts of America. He retired from the Waukegan Water Plant after 36 years of service, starting as a chemist in 1951, and was promoted to Superintendent in 1972. He began at Loyola University in Chicago and completed his Bachelors Degree in Chemistry and Bacteriology at Lake Forest College. He holds a Master's Degree in Chemistry from DePaul University and in Education from Roosevelt University.
Survived by his wife, Geraldine "Peggy"; a son, Henry (Blanca) Peskator; two grandchildren, Anthony and Valeria Peskator; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be in St. Dismas Catholic Church, 2600 Sunset Ave, Waukegan Tuesday, September 28, 2004 at 10 AM with Father John Ryan officiating. Mary DeJesus Quintero
Mary DeJesus Quintero, 57, of Waukegan passed away on Thursday September 23, 2004 at Victory Memorial Hospital. She was born January 21, 1947 in Colombia and had been a United States resident for 23 years. She had worked in housekeeping for the last 23 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Catherine Quintero of Waukegan; brothers and sisters, in the United States and Canada, Silvo Arboleda, Arceli Arboleda, Ramon Arboleda, Guillermo Arboleda and Esther Santiago, in Colombia, Manuel Arboleda and Bernardo Arboleda; she also leaves behind nieces and nephews in both countries.
Friends may call PETERSON & PATCH FUNERAL HOME 408 N. Sheridan Rd. Waukegan on Saturday, September 25, 2004 from 5 to 8 P.M., services will be held at 7:00 P.M. with Fr. Sergio Solis officiating.

Grace F. Schneider
Grace F. Schneider, 79, of Lindenhurst, IL, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2004 at Rolling Hills Manor in Zion, IL. She was born in Chicago, IL on July 26, 1925, the daughter of the late Gustav and Tillie Froughberg.
Grace was a resident of Lindenhurst since 1959, moving there from Chicago. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Waukegan and was an active choir member.
She is survived by her son, Randall (Christine) of Lake Villa; grandchildren, Derek Schneider, Drew Schneider and Rachel (John) Christensen; great-grandchildren, Sophia, Jordan and Keenan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald in 1999.
Funeral services will be at 10 AM on Saturday, September 25, 2004 at RINGA FUNERAL HOME, 122 S. Milwaukee Ave., (Rte. 83) Lake Villa, IL 60046, with Reverend Brad David, officiating. Interment will be at Millburn cemetery, Old Mill Creek, IL. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Robert E. Shaft
Robert E. Shaft, 77, of Wadsworth, IL, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2004 at Victory Memorial Hospital in Waukegan. He was born on May 1, 1927 in Altoona, PA and married
Junilla (nee Freund) on July 29, 1962 in Johnsburg, IL.
Robert was a veteran of World War II having served with the U.S. Navy and was a member of St. Patrick's Church.
He is survived by his wife, Junilla; one daughter, Susan (Dean) Granatelli of Gurnee; as well as two grandchildren, Brianne and Samuel Granatelli; one brother, Richard (Shirley) Shaft of Stagecoach, NV; and two brothers-in-law, Norman (Marilyn) Freund and Robert Peisert of Johnsburg, IL; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stan and Ruth Shaft.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 27, 2004 at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick's Church, 15000 Wadsworth Road, Wadsworth, IL, with interment to follow at Northshore Garden of Memories.
Friends may call from 9-10 AM, Monday ONLY at the church.

Irene K. Sliwa
Irene K. Sliwa, 84 of North Chicago, IL, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2004 at Victory Lakes Continuing Health Care Center in Lindenhurst.
Irene was born on November 24, 1919 in North Chicago and had been church secretary at Holy Rosary Church in North Chicago for 18 years.
She was a member of the Sodality Society at Queen of Peace Church and loved to read. She was also an avid Green Bay Packers fan.
Survivors include her sister, Florence B. Bennett of North Chicago; and several nieces and nephews, Sanda (Hank) Jasinski of Waukegan, Thomas (Patricia) Silva of Waukegan, Michealine Sliva of Grayslake, IL, Marcia (Thomas) Edwards of Gurnee, IL and Paula Mackenzie of Waukegan; one sister in law, Ann Sliwa of Waukegan; as well as many great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
Irene was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Laddie Silwa; three sisters, Alice Sliwa, Lannette McKee and Eleanore Zdanowicz; one niece, Andrea Bennett; and one nephew, Stephen Zdanowicz.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 25, 2004 at 8:45 AM at Queen of Peach Church, 910 14th St., with Fr. James E. Merold officiating. There will be no visitation and interment will be private at Ascension cemetery.

Gloria Ann Steffen
Gloria Ann Steffen passed away September 15, 2004 shortly after her premature birth at St. Therese Medical Center in Waukegan.
She is survived by her mother, Fran Ann Steffen of Fox Lake; her brothers, Anthony, Branden, Daven, and Jasper Broederdorf, all of Lake of the Hills; and her grandmother, Kathy Steffen of Fox Lake.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Gaines Daniels.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 25, 2004 at STRANG FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM, Ltd., 410 E. Belvidere Rd., Grayslake, IL 60030, with Reverend Lisle J. Kauffman of Calvary Presbyterian Church in Round Lake, officiating. Visitation will be from 12 Noon, until the time of service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family in the care of Strang Funeral Chapel.
Fred G. Teltz
Fred G. Teltz, 75 years old of Lake Villa, IL passed away Thursday, September 26, 2004 at Victory Memorial Hospital, Waukegan, IL. He was born January 6, 1929 in Chicago, the son of the late Fred and Eleanor (Peterson) Teltz.
Fred lived most of his life in Lake Villa, a town he dearly loved. He married
Elaine Umbdenstock in Diamond Lake, IL on September 23, 1953. He worked for the Lake County Highway Department for 35 years retiring in 1988, as a liaison foreman. Fred served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict from 1950 until 1952 and was a member of the Fox Lake American Legion Post. He was active in his community, serving as a member of the Lake Villa Zoning Board for three years, the Lake Villa Grade School Board for nine years, and the Lake Villa Township Board for seven years.
Fred was a member of the Lake Villa Fire Department for 29 years having served as a Lieutenant and Chief Engineer. He helped organize the first fire department underwater recovery team and served as the first Lake County Dive Master. Fred was also instrumental in the building of the Lake Villa Township Park and the Lake Villa Intermediate Grade School on McKinley Avenue. He was the President of the East Fox Lake cemetery for many years and a member of the Chain O Lakes Model A Ford Club.
He and his wife, Elaine have traveled a great deal for the past 16 years.
Survivors are his wife of 51 years, Elaine; a daughter, Tracy Kiederlen of Antioch; and a son, William (Gayle) Teltz of Lake Villa; a step-granddaughter, Callie Check; a brother, Raymond (Billie) Teltz of McHenry, IL; three sisters, Dolores (Jim) Bown of Wonder Lake, IL, Madeleine (John) Cannino of McHenry, IL and Patricia Wallen of Antioch, IL; his mother-in-law, Vivienne Umbdenstock of Mundelein, IL; two sisters-in-law, Janet (Jerry) Stewart of Phoenix, NY and Marilyn Gillies of Libertyville, IL; two brothers-in-law, Stanley Umbdenstock of Mundelein, IL and Kenneth (Jean) Umbdenstock of Paisau, IL; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Fritz in 1977.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, September 27, 2004 at the United Methodist Church, 110 McKinley Ave., Lake Villa. Interment will be in E. Fox Lake cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, September 26, 2004 from 2:00 until 7:00 PM at the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH, 1055 Main St., (Rte.83). Visitation at the church will be on Monday from 10:00 AM, until the time of services. Those desiring may make contributions to the Lake Villa Fire Department or the Lake Villa Rescue Squad, in his memory.
