Funeral service for Irene A. Beringer, 85, of Lake Villa, formerly of Mundelein is 12 p.m. Saturday, September 20, 2003 at the Kristan Funeral Home P.C., 219 W. Maple Ave. (Route 176), Mundelein. She was born September 10, 1918 in Chicago and died Wednesday, September 17, 2003 at Condell Medical Center, Libertyville. Irene was a member of the Hummel Club, an avid card player, knitter, and china and ceramic painter.
Irene is survived by her loving daughters, Noreen (James) Dowdall), Debbie (Andy Kalamay) Beringer, dear daughter-in-law, Eileen Beringer; cherished grandchildren, Vanessa, Ashley, Erin, Caeli, Carly, Kyle, Craig; fond brother, Ray Walter, and faithful canine companion Emma.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Norbert; dear son, Charles; fond brothers Larry and "Bud" Walter.

Marian R. (Maiman) Harris
Marian R. (Maiman) Harris, age 77, of Waupaca, WI passed away on Monday, September 15, 2003. Marian was born on December 9, 1925 in Waukegan, IL, the daughter of the late Irving and Cora (Weidner) Wagner. She married
Edward Maiman on August 31, 1946 and he preceded her in death on December 17, 1976. On September 23, 1979 Marian married
John R. Harris and he preceded her in death on August 14, 1999. Marian worked for many years at Louie's and the Elk's Club in Waukegan. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Waukegan.
Marian is survived by her children: Kristine (Thomas) Carroll of Ingleside, IL, Connie Jurewicz of Deerfield, IL, Daniel (Polly) Maiman of New London, WI, and Jeffery (Denise) Maiman of Amherst, WI, seven grandchildren, one great grandchild and three sisters, Barbara Greene and Therese Frank both of Waukegan, IL and Florence VanTreeck of Spring Hills, FL and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, a granddaughter, Brooke and a brother Arnold Wagner.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, September 22 at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Waukegan, IL. Visitation will be on Sunday evening from 4 to 7 p.m. at MARSH FUNERAL HOME in Waukegan and at the HOLLY FUNERAL HOME in Waupaca, WI on Thursday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 8 p.m. A memorial fund has been established in Marian's name. Holly Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Lillian nee "Kerpan" Nagode
Lillian nee "Kerpan" Nagode, age 74, of Park City, passed away September 17, 2003 at St. Therese Hospital. She was born October 11, 1928 in North Chicago where she resided most of her life. She married
her husband, John, on September 22, 1951. Worked at the Lake County Court House.
Survivors include daughters, Janeen Yeager and Cindy Nagode. Grandchildren Jessica, Andrea and Amanda. Brothers Joseph (Virginia) and John (Dolores) Kerpan. Sisters Mary Kerpan, Katherine Chumbley, Frances Magri and JoAnn Williams.
preceded in death by Brothers Ben and Pete Kerpan and sister Mildred "Millie" Swen (Swentkofske).
Services and interment will be private.
Randy D. Simplot
Randy D. Simplot, 44, of Zion, died on Friday, September 12, 2003 at home.
Randy was born February 15, 1959 in Lawton, Oklahoma, grew up in Monroe Center, Illinois and moved to Zion after graduating from Stillman Valley High School in Stillman Valley, Illinois. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church of Wadsworth and he had worked for Lake County Movers for years and later for American Processing in Gurnee.
Survivors include his wife, Lorrie, whom he married
on October 17, 1987 at St. Dismas Church in Waukegan; children Sara, Megan and Andrew; his mother Donna Simplot of Necedah, Wisconsin; one sister Melody Henson of Rockford; and one niece Melissa Forrester of Byron, Illinois; one great-nephew Cody also of Byron; his maternal grandmother Aldean Fuller of Beloit, Wisconsin; and other aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Simplot in 1997, by paternal grandparents Warren and Ruth Simplot and by maternal grandfather Britton Fuller.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, Wadsworth. Interment will follow at Ascension cemetery, Libertyville. Visitation will be Friday, September 19th, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. A trust fund is being established for Megan and Andrew Simplot - memorial donations may be sent c/o Bank of Waukegan, any branch.
Russell Phillip Wagner
Russell Phillip Wagner, age 75, of Perryville, MO, passed away on September 13, 2003 at his home. He was born February 8, 1928 in Grayslake, IL 60030. He was the son of John and Avi (Wells) Wagner. On November 11, 1950 in St. Mary's Fremont Center, IL, he was married
to Theresa Behm who survives him in Perryville, MO.
Others who survive him include three sons, John of Vincennes, Indiana, Daryl (Gail) of Belleville, IL, Bradley of Perryville, and Sherri Lang (David) of Mascoutah, IL. One sister, Edith Shackmuth of Gurnee, IL, also survives him. There are seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
He was a retired Navy and Air Force Veteran of World War II, the Korean and Vietnam Wars.
Funeral arrangements were private, made by the Willson Funeral Home in Fredricktown, Missouri.
Jessie Wantola
Jessie Wantola (nee Janeczko) age 82 of Grayslake, IL passed away September 16, 2003 at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. She was born in Chicago May 20, 1921 and made her home in Warren Township for the past 50 years working as a beautician. She was member of St. Gilbert Catholic Church, the Polish National Alliance #1164, Chicago, Grayslake Friendship Club, University of Illinois Homemakers Avon Unit, St. Gilbert's Leisure Club, Warren Township Senior Citizens, and the A.A.R.P.
Jessie is survived by her daughter Camille (Kenneth) Nale of Grayslake, her son Matthew (Robin) Wantola of Druce Lake, four grandchildren Karla Nale, Aubrey, Matthew, and Robert Wantola, her sister-in-law Sophie (Lou) Bassi, and her cousin Loretta (Dan) Petty.
Her husband, Matthew S. Wantola, precedes her in death, as well as her parents Cyprian and Karolina Janeczko; brother Walter Janeczko, step-father John Koziol, grandson Kenneth Nale, sisters-in-law Valeria (Joe) Suor and Irene Marek. She leaves behind many dear nieces, nephews, and friends.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 12 PM on Saturday, September 20, 2003 at St. Gilbert Catholic Church, 301 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030. Interment will be held at Ascension cemetery in Libertyville, IL. Patsy Ioma (Wendricks) White
Patsy Ioma (Wendricks) White of Waukegan, died Wednesday, September 17, 2003 at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. Patsy was born October 7, 1927 in Kenosha, Wisconsin. She was a member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Waukegan and was involved in the soup kitchen and funeral luncheon ministries there.
She is survived by her children, Janice Marie (Gene A.) Bach, Michael Francis (Sharon L.) White, Loralee Kay (Charles E.) Norris, Robert Scott White, Patricia Ioma (Robert Lewis) White, Shawn Louis (Sun Yo) White all of Waukegan, Gordon Patrick (Jeannette T.) White of Vernon Hills, Dennis Edward White of Winston Salem, NC, Lynette June (Norma A.) Delaney of South Renovo, PA, Leigh James (Lisa Anne) White of Zion, Constance Jean (David C.) She is preceded in death by her husband, Leo Francis White; parents, Louis A. and Florence P. Wendricks; brothers, Louis A. (Skip) Wendricks, Jr., Jerold A. Wendricks; sister, June Mary Louis Nickerson; and her grandsons, Jonathan Jamal White and James Louis White.
Funeral Mass will be Monday, September 22, 2003 at St. Anastasia Church, 624 Douglas Ave., Waukegan, Mass time is pending. Interment will be at Ascension cemetery in Libertyville. Friends may call at the Peterson & Patch Funeral Home, 408 N. Sheridan Rd., Waukegan from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday.

Eusilva Shiela Williams
Eusilva Shiela Williams (Callum) was born January 10, 1958, Trelawny Jamaica. Eusilva was the child of Therisa McNish and Daniel Callum. She went to be with her Savior on September 13, 2003.
Eusilva was a God fearing, humble, caring person and friend. She was especially a loving and devoted wife, mother and sister. Eusilva lived her life the way God intended her to. Rest in Peace.
She was a faithful member of the New Testament Church of God, in North Chicago, where she served as a Sunday School teacher, leader of Young People Group and a prayer leader.
Eusilva leaves to mourn her husband and best friend, Osbourne Williams; her mother Therisa McNish; four children Marsha Williams, Charm Williams-Henry, Osbourne Williams Jr. and Kaream Williams; grandson Daniel Williams; sister Ireta Boatner; two nephews, three nieces, and relatives and friends.
We love her very much and will miss her terribly. Her departure will leave a huge void in our hearts. She will always be remembered.
Friends may call from 8:30 a.m. Saturday until time of service at new Testament Church of God, 1001 10th St., North Chicago, with services beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at North Shore Garden of Memories.

Erma Marion Zinn (nee Madsen)
Erma Marion Zinn (nee Madsen), age 94, of Roseburg, Oregon, passed away on August 5, 2003, in a Roseburg hospital. Erma was born on July 11, 1909, in Amherst, Wisconsin, to the late Charles and Grace (Porter) Madsen. She was married
in 1935, in Waukegan, Illinois, to Werner Zinn who also preceded her in death in 1994. She worked in the retail market until her retirement in 1969. Erma moved to Roseburg in 2001 to be near her son and daughter-in-law. While her husband was with her, they enjoyed going fishing. In years past, she liked to go bowling. Her hobbies at home were crocheting, baking and spending time with her grandchildren.
Erma is survived by her son, Glen Zinn of Roseburg; seven grandchildren, Bret Zinn of Scottsdale, Arizona; Melisa Lomeli of El Paso, Texas; Mathew Zinn of Mesa, Arizona; Jill VanderLeest of Shawnee, Kansas; Sarah Le Bourdonnec of East Fallowfield, Pennsylvania; Jennifer Russell of Rochester, Minnesota; and John Russell of El Paso; great-grandchildren, Travis Lippert and Alden Lomeli both of El Paso; Joshua, Paige, and Drew VanderLeest of Shawnee, Kansas; Louisa VanderLeest of East Fallowfield, Pennsylvania; and Brady Zinn of Scottsdale, Arizona. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Diana Russell, in 1992.

Robert G. Adler
Robert G. Adler, 52, of Gurnee, passed away September 14, 2002 at Lake Arrowhead, WI. He was born March 15, 1950 in Evanston, IL.
He was a member of the PGA Golf Association. Graduate of Waukegan Township High School, class of 1968 and Northern Illinois University, class of 1972, receiving a BS Degree in Mathematics. He was an avid golfer and Atlanta Brave fan. He was currently a Financial Analyst for Alcoa, previously at Ivex Packaging Corporation in Lincolnshire, Illinois.
Survived by his wife, Roni; one son, Robert George Adler, III of Gurnee; mother, Ebba Adler of Gurnee; two brothers, Stanley Adler of Winthrop Harbor, IL and Donald (Marie) Adler of Waukegan, IL.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin in 1978.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 18, 2002 at 8:00PM at Marsh Funeral Home of Gurnee, 305 cemetery Road with Rev. Dr. Gehl Devere officiating. Burial will be private. Visitation will be held 5-8PM Wednesday only at the funeral home.

Evelyn F. Ames
Evelyn F. Ames, 81, of Waukegan, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2002 at Provena-St. Therese Medical Center. She was born March 9, 1921 in Waukegan. She was an excellent seamstress and very artistic. Her hobbies included sewing and bowling. She was retired from Fansteel in 1987 after 33 years of employment.
Survivors include 3 children Donna Doshier of Waukegan, Patricia (Tom) Eatherly of Beach Park and Benjamin (Doe) Ames of Beach Park; 5 grandchildren, Tom, Sheryl (Jeff) and Greg Eatherly, Cheri, Roy (Diane) Ames; one cousin Edward Buckley of Waukegan; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Florence (nee Nelson) Thomas; one brother Frank Thomas; and two sisters, Helen Rush (George) Murray and Lulu (Hal) Kenimer.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 20, 2002 at MARSH FUNERAL HOME OF WAUKEGAN, 1521 Washington St., with Rev. Dr. Gehl DeVore officiating. Burial will be at Millburn cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the Diabetes Foundation.
