Marilynne Neville
Marilynne Neville, 62, of Mundelein, died October 6, 2002 at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. She was born December 3, 1939 in Chicago and had been a Libertyville resident for the past 35 years. Mrs. Neville had worked in the emergency room at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville for many years and was a member of St. Mary Vernon Parish.
She is survived by her daughters Colleen (Patrick) Murphy of Trevor, WI, Phyllis (Robert) Santi of Libertyville and Joanne (Daniel Jr.) Karas of Mundelein; her grandchildren, Kathleen, Shannon and Ryan Murphy, Elyse, Elizabeth and Christopher Santi, and Mary Ellen Karas; her brother Edward Kane of Glen Ellyn; her sister Verlene (Bob) Walsh of Barrington. She was preceded in death by her husband William in 1998.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 10, 2002 from MCMURROUGH CHAPEL, 101 Park Pl., Libertyville to St. Mary of Vernon Church (Rt. 45 one block west of Butterfield Rd., Indian Creek (847) 362-1005). Mass is at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Ascension cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. If desired, memorials requested to The American Cancer Society. Crystal Lyons Plummer
Crystal Lyons Plummer, 86, of Ingleside, passed away Friday, October 4, 2002 at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. Born December 24, 1915 in Richland Center, Wisconsin the daughter of the late Joseph Carl Lyons and Roberta Gore.
A graduate of Waukegan High School. Member of Delta Kappa Gama and graduate of Lake Forest College. Crystal served as a teacher and principal for 21 years at the Gavin School in Ingleside. A Sunday school teacher and lifelong member of the United Protestant Church in Grayslake. Among her interests were artistic design, pottery and pottery wheel work, needle-point work and tapestries.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, N. Kenneth Plummer, whom she married
on June 17, 1934; her children, Christine Taulbee of Ingleside and Norman Plummer, Jr. of Arlington Heights; her grandchildren, Willard Taulbee of Kentucky, Crystal Dean of Kentucky, Grethel Jones of Kentucky and eight great-grandchildren; niece, Roberta Vilmann of Round Lake.
Crystal was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.
Funeral services will be held at 1PM on Wednesday, October 9, 2002 at STRANG FUNERAL CHAPEL &CREMATORIUM;, LTD, 410 E. Belvidere Rd., Grayslake, Illinois 60030 with Pastor William Owen officiating. Interment will follow at Warren cemetery in Gurnee. Friends of the family may visit at the funeral chapel prior to the services on Wednesday from 10AM until 1PM.

Grace A. (Hallmann) Sahs
Grace A. (Hallmann) Sahs, 95, 2575 Highway S, Sturgeon Bay passed away at Door County Memorial Hospital on October 6, 2002. She was born November 4, 1906 in Chicago to the late Charles and Emilie (Rehbein) Hallmann. On June 12, 1926 she married
Lawrence F. Sahs in Chicago. Grace had lived in Chicago until retiring to Sturgeon Bay in 1972. She was a member of St. Peters Ev. Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her son, Lawrence A. Sahs, Sturgeon Bay; a daughter, Marilyn (Merl) Carberry, Lake Villa, IL; a sister, Edna Hallmann, Lake Villa, IL; a brother, Elmer Hallmann, Lincolnwood, IL; 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 9 great, great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a grandson, two sisters, Elsie Buchholz and Hattie Hallmann.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, October 9, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Peters Lutheran Church, the Rev. Darrick Kolterjahn officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, at the Forbes Funeral Home and than after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at the church until time of services. Devotions will be held at the funeral home at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Norita E. Adler, 65, of Gurnee, IL passed away October 6, 2004. She was born February 13, 1939 in Granton, WI and was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Church.
Survived by daughter Amy West and grandchildren Nicholas Adler, Alexander West, three sisters, one brother.

Fannie E. Bruce (nee Zorc), 90, of Waukegan passed away October 5, 2004 at Midwest Regional Medical Center. She was born March 4, 1914 in Waukegan to Louis and Elizabeth (Krantz) Zorc. She was an avid cat and bird enthusiast.
Survivors include her daughter, Joanne Engels of Helena, MT; two sisters, Anne (the late Phillip "Bud") Groat and Helen (the late Jim) Jordan; a brother, James "Corky" (Rita) Zorc; many grandchildren; great grandchildren; great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alvin Vandervent; and daughter, Elizabeth.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2004 at 12:30 PM at MARSH FUNERAL HOME OF WAUKEGAN, 1521 Washington, St., Waukegan. Interment will be in Ascension cemetery, Libertyville. Robert J. "Mr. Lucky" Haywood, 62, passed away October 5, 2004 in Wauconda Township. He was born July 10, 1942 in Waukegan, IL.
Lucky was survived by his three children, Scott Gecias of Beach Park, IL, Ron Gecias of North Chicago, IL and James Permenter of Wauconda, IL; four grandchildren, Tiffany, Raymond, Cory and Amanda; a sister, Gloria (Bread) Warner of Lake Geneva, WI; brother, Robert (Helen) Gecias of Round Lake Beach, IL; and two nieces.

David M. Leyva
David M. Leyva, 48 years old, of Antioch, IL, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2004 at his home. He was born July 11, 1956 in Chicago, the son of Saul and Dorothy (Kuntz) Leyva. He moved to Antioch in 2001, and was a member of the Chain of Lakes Community Bible Church. He was working for Klein Tools in Skokie in the Inventory Control Department and also enjoyed fishing and woodworking.
On September 16, 1989, he married
Aileen "Scotty" Tinley in Chicago and she preceded him in death on February 18, 2004.
Survivors include a son, Harvey (Karin) Dohm of Mundelein and a daughter, Claudia (John) Werner of Chicago; his father, Saul Leyva in Chicago and his mother, Dorothy Leyva of Lindenhurst; a grandson, John Claude; his brothers, Saul of Wichita Falls, TX, Norman (Lisa) of Lindenhurst, Scott of Wonder Lake, Kenneth of Elgin and Nick (Leonor) of Gurnee; and his nieces and nephews, Saul, Sydney, Matthew, Christopher, Nick, Thomas, Dalton and Dakota.

Donna L. Maciukevicius
Donna Loretta Maciukevicius, 42, of Dayton, OH and formerly of Waukegan, passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2004 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, OH.
Donna was born March 27, 1962 in Waukegan and attended Waukegan Schools. She was a graduate of the University of Illinois in Champaign, where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. Donna was employed by the NCR Corporation in Dayton for 20 years as an IT Project Manager.She loved all sports, playing volleyball and softball for Waukegan Township High School and was a former member of St. Bartholomew Church and the church choir; she was an avid golfer, and belonged to the NCR Country Club, where she was a ladies club champion. Donna also held executive positions with the Bellbrook, OH sugar Maple Festival and was a member of the Lithuanian American Community, Inc.
Donna is survived by her loving father and mother, Anatolijus and Irena Maciukevicius; her dear, dear friend and companion, Denise Shew and her daughters, Sara and Stacey Shew; brother, Vitas (Sonia) Maciukevicius; godfather, Aleksas (Liolyda) Sukys; godmother, Rebecca Stanulis; and many uncles aunts both here and in Lithuania.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Aleksas and Ona Sukys, her paternal grandparents, Juozas and Anele Maciukevicius, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 12 Noon Saturday, October 9, 2004 at the Peterson & Patch Funeral Home 408 N. Sheridan Rd. Waukegan. Interment will be at Ascension cemetery in Libertyville. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:30 am until the time of service on Saturday.

Fay McClaughry
Fay McClaughry, 65 years old of Antioch, passed Wednesday, October 6, 2004 at her home. She was born May 12, 1939 in Martin, TN, the daughter of Robert J. and Jessie (Payne) Taylor.
Fay lived in Long Lake for over 20 years, before moving to Antioch in 1989. Her special interests include bingo, crafts, gardening, cooking, and being with her family and cats. On August 27, 1962, she married
William McClaughry in Chicago, IL.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, William; six children, Kathleen (Alex) Mardoian of Lindenhurst, IL, Michael Thompson of Round Lake, IL, Janet (Oliver) Walker of Kenosha, WI, Frank (Diane) McClaughry of Mundelein, IL, Sandra (Joe Castaldo) Minnie, and Patrick McClaughry, both of Antioch,; her mother, Jessie Taylor of Arlington Heights, IL; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Samuel (Karen) Taylor of Arlington Heights, IL; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Taylor and two brothers, Bobbie and James.
Funeral Services will be held 4 PM Sunday, October 10, 2004 at STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH, 1055 Main St. (Rte 83), Antioch. Interment will be private. Visitation will be Sunday, from 12 Noon, until time of services.
M. Loy Olesen
M. Loy Olesen, 84, of Beach Park, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2004 at his home.
He was born April 3, 1920 in Amsterdam, New York to Carl E. Olesen and Muriel M. Blunck. Loy has been a resident of Illinois since 1955. He was a graduate of Wilber H. Lynch High School in Amsterdam, the American Academy of Embalming and Mortuary Research in New York and the Gottlieb Memorial Hospital School of Respiratory Therapy in Illinois. Loy was a Funeral Director at his own funeral home in Broadalbin, New York until a serious injury forced him to change careers.
For the past 20 years, Loy had volunteered his services at Midwestern Regional Medical Center and at Child Evangelism, both of Zion and at Vista Victory Memorial Hospital in Waukegan. He was a founding member of the Village Church of Gurnee and for the past several years a faithful attender at Christ Community Church in Zion.
Loy is survived by a son, Craig Olesen; a daughter, Christine E. McKenzie of Tennessee; four granddaughters, Molly, Jennifer, Leanne and Sarah; three grandsons, Michael, Ryan and Scott; two great-granddaughters, Britton and Anna; one great-grandson, Kayle; a special nephew, Albert; other nieces, nephews, cousins, and his brother in Christ, Allen Deacon of Beach Park.
Loy was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Gunning who he married
on August 15, 1962; his parents; and his dear sister, Doris.
Graduation services will be held on Sunday, October 10, 2004 at 5:00 p.m. at Christ Community Church, 2500 Dowie Memorial Drive, Zion. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until time of services at the Church. Private family interment will be at Highland Memorial Park, Libertyville.
