Irene H. Kedzierski
Irene H. Kedzierski, 90, of Vernon Hills, IL passed away Monday, November 22, 2004 at the Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. She was born September 16, 1914 in Duluth, Minnesota and had been a resident of Chicago for most of her life. She was a member of St. Mary of Vernon Parish in Indian Creek.
Surviving are her son, James (Mary Lou) Kay of Lincolnshire; her granddaughter, Kathleen (Bryan) Austin of Chicago; and her sister, Dorothy Berg of Chicago.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sigmund Kedzierski; and her parents, Stanley and Teckla Lukas.
A graveside service for her family was held on Monday, November 29, 2004 at St. Adalbert cemetery in Niles. A memorial Mass will be held at 11 AM Saturday, January 8, 2005 at St. Mary of Vernon Catholic Church in Indian Creek. Arrangements are by the BURNETT-DANE FUNERAL HOME in Libertyville. .
Christopher M. Mobile
Christopher M. Mobile, 33, of Libertyville, IL passed away suddenly Friday, November 26, 2004 in Sarasota, FL. He was born July 1, 1971 in Lake Forest, was a 1989 graduate of Libertyville High School and had just moved to Sarasota this past January. He was a member of St. Joseph Parish in Libertyville and was a former social worker at the Riverside Foundation in Lincolnshire. Chris loved playing the guitar, had been in a band with some of his friends and was an avid reader.
Surviving are his father, Michael Mobile of Libertyville; his mother, Sharyl (Jack) Dobson of Cedarburg, WI; two sisters, Georgia (Joel) Nissen of Virginia Beach, VA and Deborah (Steven) Richards of Libertyville; two brothers, Kenneth Mobile of Milwaukee, WI and Whitney Dobson of Cedarburg; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Prayers will begin at 9:30 AM Thursday, December 2, 2004 at the BURNETT-DANE FUNERAL HOME, 120 W. Park Ave (Rt. 176), Libertyville and services will continue to St. Joseph Church for Funeral Mass at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Ascension cemetery. Dorothy A. Vanover (nee Bojniewicz)
Dorothy A. Vanover, age 64, of Waukegan, died Wednesday, November 24, 2004 at her home, following a battle with cancer. Dorothy was born August 18, 1940 in Waukegan. She was the owner and president of Travel Concepts in Waukegan. She was also a volunteer for LaCasa in Gurnee, a member of American Business Woman's Association, a graduate of Waukegan Citizens' Police Academy and a partner in the Women of Worth investment club.
She is survived by two sons, Lawrence J. Vanover of Round Lake Beach and Gregory J. (Tricia) Vanover of Grayslake; two granddaughters, Lauren and Emily; two sisters, Rosalie (late Ken) Daywalt and Janice (Ed) Shultis; and many nieces and nephews including Karen (Ed) Garret, Kevin (Holly) Daywalt, Mark (Samatha) Shultis, Kim (Jeff) Clennan, Kris (Jeff) Franklin and David Shultis; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony J. and Rose B. (Stanislawski) Bojniewicz. Visitation will be Monday, November 29, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at MARSH FUNERAL HOME, 1521 Washington St., Waukegan, IL. Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 30 at 10 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6401 Gages Lake Rd., Gurnee. Interment will be at Ascension cemetery in Libertyville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
Glenn R. Wisland
Glenn R. Wisland, 48, of Mundelein, IL, passed away suddenly Tuesday, November 23, 2004 at his home.
He was born April 13, 1956 in England, was a 1974 graduate of Libertyville High School and has lived in Mundelein for the past 20 years. Glenn was also a graduate of the College of Lake County and a former I.T. Professional and Computer Analyst for the Kemper Insurance Company in Long Grove.
Surviving are his mother, Ivy "Pat" Wisland of Vernon Hills; his sister, Susan Wisland of Plano, TX; three brothers, Terry, Randy and Dean Wisland, all of Vernon Hills.
He was preceded in death by his father, Delano Wisland in 1985.
A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 30 at the BURNETT-DANE FUNERAL HOME, 120 W. Park Ave. (Rt. 176) Libertyville. Interment will be at Lakeside cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association in his memory. .
Bernardo "Buba" T. Bustos Jr.
Bernardo "Buba" T. Bustos Jr., 23, of Waukegan, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2001 at University of Illinois Hospital, Chicago. He was born June 19, 1978 in Waukegan.
Survivors include one daughter, Justic; his father, Bernardo (Susy) Bustos Sr., Island Lake; his mother, Gloria (Alfonso) Ortiz of Waukegan; five sisters, Amelia (Ray) Coleman of Waukegan, Adrienna Bustos and Angela (Carmelo) Apolinar, both of Waukegan, Laura and Ahissa Bustos of Island Lake; a brother, Angel (Amy) Bustos of Waukegan; a step-sister, Valeria Bacajol; a step-brother, Hector Bacajol, both of Island Lake; ten nieces and nephews, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Balbina Tovar, and maternal grandfather, Martin H. Moncivaiz, Sr.

Roxie L. Hoaglund
Roxie L. Hoaglund, 74, of Stuart, Florida, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2001 at the Tabor Hills Nursing Home in Naperville, IL. She was born January 28, 1927 in Waterloo, Iowa and was a former resident of Rhinelander, WI and Stuart, FL. Roxie enjoyed golfing and was a member of Country Club Cove in Stuart.
Surviving are 8 children, Lauralee Fitzgerald of Hollywood, CA, Valerie Fitzgerald of Los Angeles, CA, Debra (Tim) Price of Naperville, IL, Deane Sarby of Marion, Iowa, Derl (Christy) Sarby of Libertyville, Dale (Corinne) Sarby of Baraboo, WI, Shelli (Dan) Stafford of Peachtree City, GA and Mark Hoaglund of Maplewood, MN; 5 grandchildren, Taunya, Lester, Vanessa, Jeremy, Joshua and her niece Julie (Peter) Peterson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harley and Corda Soles, by her husband George R. Hoaglund on October 16, 2001 and her brothers Roy and Ray Soles.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 30 at the BURNETT-DANE FUNERAL HOME, 120 West Park Avenue, Libertyville. A graveside service for the family will be held at Ascension cemetery at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Agnes M. Leach
Agnes M. Leach, 77, of Round Lake Beach passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2001 at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. She was born February 4, 1924 in Honolulu, Hawaii to the late Joseph Gouvia and Theresa Rago. She was a resident of Round Lake Beach since May 1973.
She leaves her husband, William O. Leach; daughters, Margo Broddie, Round Lake Beach, Theresa Shireman of Round Lake Beach, Irene Kryine of McHenry County and Leatrice (Joseph) McDonald of Round Lake Beach; and a son, Andrew Leach of Grayslake. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers.

Evan Charles Lougher
Evan Charles Lougher, 64, of Beach Park, IL was called home to be with God on November 22, 2001 at his home surrounded by his loving wife, family and friends after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Evan was born in Ithca, NY on April 29, 1937. He was the first child of Evan Sr. and the fifth child of Mildred Lougher. Evan joined the U.S. Navy in 1947 where he served our country faithfully for 26 years. He retired in 1978 as a Chief Petty Officer. After retirement he was an instructor at Great Lakes Navy Base in Great Lakes, IL. Evan was a member of Our Lady of Humility Church in Wadsworth, IL.
He is survived by his loving wife Carol, 8 step children, Steve Seibert, Greg (Diane) Seibert, Peter (Fran) Seibert, Patrick (Rhonda) Seibert, Mary (Chester) Dubicki, Debbie (Chris Johnson) Becker, Joseph Seibert and Bernadette (Bill) Rowe; 20 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; and a sister Mildred Kitt. He was preceded in death by his parents, Evan C. and Mildred Lougher; 2 brothers, Ivan and Ed; and a sister, Marie.
A Catholic Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Evan on Saturday, December 1, 2001 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Humility Church, 10655 Wadsworth Rd. in Beach Park, IL with Pastor David Mulvihill officiating. Chapel service will be at All Saints cemetery, 3500 Springbrook Rd. in Kenosha, WI. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the American Cancer Society or Condell Medical Center Hospice. Any masses said for Evan would also be appreciated.
Barbara D. Parsons
Barbara D. Parsons, 81, of Gurnee, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2001 at Pinnacle Nursing Home in Waukegan. She was born August 21, 1920 in Chicago, IL.
Survivors include seven children, Joseph Parsons of Pontiac, IL, Ann (Jeff) Madden of Paddock Lake, WI, Barbara J. Parsons of Gurnee, Thomas Parsons of Chicago, IL, Mary Parsons of Ceres, CA, Robert Parsons of Waukegan and Denise (David) Svoboda of Ceres, CA; seven grandchildren, Tynan, Jarrett, Jeffrey, Jessica, Joseph, Jennifer and Daniel; three sisters, Marguerite Drury, Mary Ann Drury both of Norridge, IL and Virginia Schergen of Hawaii; and two brothers, William Drury of Northbrook, IL and Robert Drury of Geneva, NY. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph in 1982.

Pamela Ray-Sliva
Pamela Ray-Sliva, 44, of Wadsworth died on Tuesday, November 27, 2001 at home following a long illness.
Pamela was born April 30, 1957 in Waukegan and lived in this area all of her life. She was a member of Our Lady of Humility Church of Zion and she retired in June of 2001 at Deli Manager for Jewel Food Stores.
Survivors include her husband, Ken; one son, John (Lisa) Booth of Kenosha; one daughter, Tina Booth of Kenosha; three grandchildren, Cayla Booth, J.J. Booth, and Danielle Booth; her father, Billie G. Ray of Golden, Mississippi; two brothers, Frank M. Ray of Zion and Richard L. Ray of Gurnee; and her grandmother, Pauline H. Nissen of Winthrop Harbor.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Linn-Ray; by her grandfather, Frank Nissen; and by grandparents, Selmer and Costar Ray.
A Memorial Mass celebrating the life of Pamela will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2001 at 12:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Humility Church, 10655 W. Wadsworth Road, Beach Park. Inurnment will be later for the immediate family. Friends may call at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, on Friday from 6:00 until 8:30 p.m.
Leo L. Singer
Leo L. Singer, lifelong resident of Waukegan, IL. Born in Milwaukee, WI., died November 26, 2001 at the age 95. Leo aka, Spooney, graduated from Waukegan Township High School and returned to W.T.H.S. in 1934 to teach Biology and coach after graduating with an M.S. from the University of Wisconsin. He became Athletic Director in 1949 until he retired in 1971. Leo inspired students to attain good values through sportsmanship and teamwork. He touched many lives with his ideals, good nature and remembering almost everyone he knew.
He was active in congregation Am Echod, Easter Seals, Elks, Exchange Club, Parents and "W" Clubs, Illinois Athletic Association and Illinois Athletic Director's Association.
Leo was preceded in death by his wife, Miriam, after 57 years of marriage; also preceded in death by brothers Ted and Joe; a sister, Margaret; and parents, Anna and Nathan.
Leo is survived by many loved ones, daughters, Rosalie Cohen of Northbrook and Karen Gershow of San Francisco, CA.; his brother, William of Jacksonville, FL; son-in-law, Barry Cohen; grandchildren, Jody Lafnitzegger, Kimberly Goldberg, Jeffery, Wendy and Ira Gershow; and great-grandchildren, Jason, Leo Samuel and John Gershow; and nephew, Eric Gordon.
Services will be 11:30 AM Thursday, November 29, 2001 at Peterson-Patch Funeral Home, 408 N. Sheridan Rd., Waukegan. Interment will be at Am Echod cemetery, Waukegan. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice. Family will receive friends at the home of Barry and Rosalie Cohen.
Margaret Minter Tillman
Margaret Minter Tillman was born March 19, 1933 in Murfreesboro, TN. She departed this life November 27, 2001 at Midwestern Regional Hospital in Zion. Margaret was retired from Abbott Laboratories and a member of First Corinthian M. B. Church in North Chicago. Margaret is survived by her loving family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Westergard.
