Nathan C. Rich, 27 years old of Lake Villa, IL passed away Sunday, November 14, 2004 in Kenosha, WI. He was born April 15, 1977 in Waukegan, IL the son of Gary Rich and Beverly Barrett. He grew up and lived in Lake Villa all his life. His interests included playing pool.
Survivors include his daughter, Ashley in Boulder, CO; his mother, Beverly Barrett of Lake Villa, his father, Gary of Green Bay, WI; two sisters, Tracy (Robert) Miller of Ingleside and Angie Rich of Lake Villa; his maternal Grandfather, Charles Barrett of Lake Villa and his niece, Summer.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Etta Barrett.

Amy E. Stokovich
Amy E. Stokovich, 42, of Green Oaks, IL passed away suddenly Sunday, November 14, 2004 at the Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. She was born August 12, 1962 in Bronxville, New York, was a former Lincolnshire resident, living in Green Oaks for the past three years. Amy was a 1980 graduate of Stevenson High School and became a Licensed Practical Nurse following her graduation from nursing school at the College of Lake County. She had been employed in the office of Dr. Ronald Klimaitis in Libertyville and also at several nursing homes in the area.
Amy married
John Stokovich on November 3, 2001 and was the loving mother of four children, Megan M. Taylor of Chicago, Kelly E. Taylor of Vernon Hills, Matthew John Stokovich and John Alexander Stokovich, both of Green Oaks; devoted daughter of Herbert and Shirley Keller of Columbia, MO/Napels, FL; dear sister of John (Jennifer) Keller of Beijing, China and Matt (Kay) Keller of Arlington Heights; two brothers-in-law, Milan Stokovich and Nick (Debbie) Stokovich. both of Libertyville; and her former husband, Robert Taylor of Vernon Hills. Amy touched many lives by her caring and loving nature and will always be remembered.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, November 18, 2004 at The Most Holy Mother of God Serbian Orthodox Monastery in Third Lake. Interment is pending. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Wednesday, November 17, 2004 at the BURNETT-DANE FUNERAL HOME, 120 W. Park Ave. (Rt. 176), Libertyville, where the Pomen Service will be held at 7 PM. Kenneth D. Thorsen
Kenneth D. Thorsen, 61, of Naperville, IL passed away Sunday, November 14, 2004 at the Alden Nursing Home in Naperville. He was born December 23, 1942 in Chicago and was a former resident of LaGrange.
Ken was a 1962 graduate of Libertyville High School and a 1967 graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University. He had been employed as a pharmaceutical representative and a former employee of the E.J. Squibb Corporation.
Surviving are two sons, Scott (Christine) Thorsen of Naperville and Eric Thorsen of Chicago; a grandson, Ryan; and a sister, Sandra (Glynn) Jones of Mundelein.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Ruth Thorsen.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 17 at the BURNETT-DANE FUNERAL HOME, 120 W. Park Ave. (Rt. 176), Libertyville. Interment will follow at Woodlawn cemetery in Forest Park. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Info: (847)362-3009.
William F. Zunker III
William F. Zunker III, 59, of Wauconda, IL passed away Thursday, November 11, 2004 at his home. He was born August 15, 1945 in Milwaukee, WI, was a former resident of Chicago and Arlington Heights, living in Wauconda since 1992. He was a 1963 graduate of Brookfield High School in Wisconsin and also a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Bill was the president of Kaddatz, Zunker and Snelten Insurance Agency in Schaumburg, was a member of Transfiguration Parish in Wauconda and enjoyed fishing and golf.
Surviving are his wife, Denise (nee Terandy) Zunker; his mother, June Zunker of Hixson, TN; sister, Carrie (Brian) Py of Ocoee, FL; three brothers, Robert Zunker of Port Washington, WI, David (Leanne) Zunker of Sooke, B.C. and Richard Zunker of Sebastopol, CA; and his best buddy, Nikita.
He was preceded in death by his father, William F. Zunker II.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, November 17, 2004 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, 316 W. Mill St., Wauconda. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either the Countryside Association in Palatine or Haymarket Center in Chicago. . Harold D. Butler
Mass of Christian Burial for Harold D. Butler, 67, of Houston, TX, formerly of Mundelein is 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Fremont Center. Interment will follow in St. Mary's cemetery. He was born November 29, 1933 in Queens, New York and died Tuesday, November 13, 2001 at the Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX.
Harold was a Sergeant in the United States Air Force during the Korean War, a 4th Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus, a former member, Athletic Director and Coach at St. Mary's Parish in Fremont Center. Harold was also a coach in the Mundelein Little League for many years. He will be remembered as a man who loved to work with children.
He is survived by his loving companion, Marilyn Moskal of Houston, TX; children, Ellen Butler of Chicago, John (Kathleen) Butler of Hawthorn Woods, William (Pamela) Butler of Jackson, MS, Harry (Jane) Butler of Kansas City, MO, Pati (Jacinto) Reyes of Duncanville, TX, Kevin (Kathleen) Butler of Deerfield, Marty Butler of Palatine; 10 grandchildren; and his former wife, Ellen Butler of Palatine.

Patrick D. Demiglio
Patrick D. Demiglio, 78, of Zion died on Tuesday, November 13, 2001 at Victory Memorial Hospital, Waukegan.
Patrick was born March 25, 1923 in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania and came to Zion in 1991 from New Jersey. He worked as a Meat Packer in New Jersey.
Survivors include his wife, Louise; one son Patrick (Lynn) Demiglio of Zion; and four grandchildren Michael (Tina), Jeremy, Patrick and Lisa Demiglio. He was preceded in death by two brothers Jimmy and Merle, by one sister Eleanor and by his parents Dominic and Rose Demiglio.

Angelina Gonzalez
Angelina Gonzalez, 69, of North Chicago, died November 12, 2001 at Provena St. Therese. She was born August 2, 1932 in Puerto Rico. She was a member of Holy Family East Church.
Angelina is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jose; 14 children, Jose Gonzalez, Norma McKee, Daniel, Roberto Gonzalez, Sylvia (Jose) Rivera, David Gonzalez, Ester (Jim) Machak, Hector Gonzalez, Ismael (Menie) Gonzalez, Isabel Torrez, Reinaldo Gonzalez, Lemuel (Alicia0 Gonzalez, Mary Arroyo and Alisia (Brian) Philips; 24 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; three sisters.
preceded in death by a son, Ralph A. Gonzalez in 1987; her parents and two brothers.

Devora Grose
Devora Grose, 95, of Waukegan, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2001 at the Zion Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Tollette, Arkansas. She was a life long member of the Trinity A.M.E. Church in Waukegan. Devora was also a member of the "Emerita" Alma Baber Missionary Society and the Trustees Aide Club.
Survivors include one son, Andy Belcher Jr.; four daughters, Thessalonia E. Doss, Rev. Shirley J. Gilleylen, Yvonne Dowe and Muslimah Salaam; six granddaughters; four grandsons; twenty-three great grandchildren; fourteen great great grandchildren; two sisters, Hazel Johnson and Maggie Cravanas; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Willie Grose; brothers, Lee White, Arthur White, Otis White and Zebedee White; sisters, Pauline Robinson, Verdell Johnson and Dorothy Adams.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, November 16, 2001 at the Trinity A.M.E. Church, 210 South Ave., Waukegan, IL with the Rev. Reginald Blount Pastor officiating. Jean Halvorsen
Jean (nee Hill) Halvorsen (lovingly called "Nanny"), 73, of Beach Park died on Tuesday, November 13, 2001 at Condell Hospital, Libertyville.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Waukegan, the Waukegan Yacht Club and the Waukegan Emblem Club. She retired as Executive Director of the Great Lakes Auxiliary of the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, Great Lakes, following over 40 years of service. She was the First Place Winner of the Century of Progress World's Fair Doll Buggy contest in Chicago in 1933.
Survivors include her three loving daughters Gay (Lee) Penttinen of Waukegan, Joy Halvorsen of Beach Park and Merrily (Steven) Bausch of Lake Villa as well as her treasured grandchildren, Steven and April Bausch. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Bernard "Bernie"; her parents Allen Ray and Daisy (nee Hatton) Hill and a sister, Shirley (nee Hill) Dunoven. She is also survived by a sister, Beverly (Lyle) Shelley of Gurnee; a brother Thomas (Katie) Hill of Tennessee and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Saturday, November 17, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion with Rev. David Eikenberry of First Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will follow at Northshore Garden of Memories, North Chicago. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. M. Louise Larson
M. Louise Larson, 90, of Waukegan, passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2001 at Rolling Hills Manor in Zion.
She was born on October 18, 1911 in Portland, Oregon. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Minnehaha Falls, Minnesota and active in the Church Organization, she also sang in Church choirs, trios and played the piano in church.
She is survived by her daughter, Vivian (Kenneth) May of Waukegan,; granddaughter, Julie (Stephen) O'Connor of St. Louis Park, MN; and three great-grandchildren, Anya, Madeleine and Grace O'Connor.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chauncey W. L. Larson in 1994; and a brother, Kermit Berger.
Funeral services will be at 10:30am, Monday, November 19, 2001 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Minnehaha Falls, MN. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park in Minneapolis, MN.

Herbert Hershell Murley
Herbert Hershell Murley, 72, of Beach Park died on Tuesday, November 13, 2001 at Victory Memorial Hospital, Waukegan.
He was born October 15, 1929 in Dry Creek, Tippah County, MS and lived in the Zion-Beach Park area since 1952. He was married
to Eva Jean Miller on November 25, 1949, and was a member of the Zion Church of Christ and he was an Electrician, retiring from Johns-Manville in 1988.
In addition to his wife, he is also survived by his children Peggy (Gary) Dulaney of Zion and Joe (Donna) Murley of Beach Park; a grandson Mark (Elizabeth) Dulaney of Winthrop Harbor; two great grandchildren Cullen and Morgan Dulaney who were the delight of his life; a sister Irene Hutchinson of Holly Springs, MS; a brother, Perry (Helen) Murley of Zion; and numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Perry and Pearl Murley, a brother, Ruric Murley and a sister Charlene Phillips.
Funeral service will be Sunday, November 18, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. at Waters Funeral Home, 309 N. 2nd Street, Baldwyn, MS with Clyde Mize, dear friend of the family, officiating. Interment will follow at Prentiss Memorial Gardens, Baldwyn, MS. Lucine "Luke" Mutaw
Lucine "Luke" Mutaw, 78, of Waukegan, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2001 at Provena St. Therese medical Center in Waukegan.
He was born June 15, 1923 in Waukegan and remained a lifelong area resident.
He was a veteran of World War II serving in the Army Paratroopers 11th Airborne Division and earned the Bronze Star and purple Heart. Luke was an Ambassador for the Lake County Chamber and an avid golfer at Bonnie Brook and Shilow golf courses. He retired Johns Mansville in 1987 after 40 years of service and was a member of their Quarter Century Club.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Eleanor (nee Poglayen); children, Michael (Marsha) Mutaw of Beach Park, Robert (Ann) Mutaw of Louisville, CO, Kathleen (Marc) Lorber of Woodbridge, CT and Maryanne (Kirk) Jensen of Iowa Park, TX; he is also survived by his grandchildren, David and Beth Lorber, Erik and Aliza Jensen; three step-grandchildren, Lance Henderson, Jennifer (Jim) Bray and Walter Barner; and three great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Clara (nee LaViolette) Mutaw.
Funeral services will be at 10:00am, Saturday, November 17, 2001 at Peterson & Patch Funeral Home, 408 N. Sheridan Rd., Waukegan with Fr. Ryan officiating. Entombment will be at Ascension cemetery in Libertyville.
