Marguerite A. Biagini
Marguerite A. Biagini, 76, of Lake Villa passed away Friday, November 9, 2001 at Condell Medical Center, Libertyville, IL.
She was born on April 10, 1925 in Chicago, the daughter of the late Carl "Duke" and Mary Catherine "Mae" (Heaney) Moretti.
Marge was a member of St. Bede Church and before her retirement, she worked in management at Quaker Industries in Antioch. On December 26, 1943 in Chicago, she married
Bruno J. Biagini and he preceded her in death on October 22, 1998.
She is survived by three sons, Bruce (Fran) of Macomb, IL, Barry (Pamela) of Paradise Valley, AZ and Brian of Lake Villa, IL; a step son, John (Colleen) of Pell Lake, WI; two sisters-in-law, Joanne Moretti and Lena Scelfo; and ten grandchildren, Jeffrey, Timothy, Sarah, Adam, Christopher, Michael, Kimberly, Joseph, Dominic and Nicholas. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Bill, Harry and John.
Funeral Services with Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM Monday, November 12, 2001 at St. Bede Church, 35455 N. Wilson Rd., Ingleside, IL. Interment will be in Ascension cemetery, Libertyville, IL.
Friends may call at the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH, 1055 Main St (Rte 83) from 4 until 8 PM on Sunday.

Arlene Jann
Arlene Jann, 86, of Lake Bluff, passed away November 6, 2001 at the VA Medical Center in North Chicago. She was born on April 7, 1915 in North Chicago. Arlene was a former teacher and librarian for the Waukegan School district and served as a WAVE in the armed forces during World War II.
Arlene was the dear sister of the late Adam Jann and Winifred Sheridan.

Delbert "Ivan" Markley
Delbert "Ivan" Markley, 78, of Manteno, passed away on November 8, 2001 at Riverside. He was born on January 12, 1923 in Fayette County, IL to Harvey and Ruth (Threewit) Markley. Ivan was an Operating Engineer for Azzarelli for 20 years. Prior to that he worked for Lehigh stone quarry. He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Kankakee and was also a member of the Perry Farm Association. He enjoyed traveling, reading and antique tractors.
Survivors include his wife, Lovetta (Kline), whom he married
September 5, 1946 in Farina, IL; one son, Jim (Debbie) Markley of Libertyville, four daughters, Linda (Don) Overacker of Apache Junction, AZ, Teresa (Marty) Gibson of Kankakee, Kathy (Bill) Reed of Charleston and Kelly Rice of Charleston; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by four sisters, three brothers and a nephew, Ronald Stipp.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 13, 2001 at the Trinity United Methodist Church with the Rev. Martin R. Gutzmer officiating. Reginald "Red" Satterfield
Reginald "Red" Satterfield of Waukegan, Illinois passed away October 24, 2001 in Antigo, WI. He was the son of the late Frank and Anna Satterfield. He served in the U.S. Army in WW II. Reginald was employed as a fireman in the Waukegan Fire Department for over 20 years, and was a member of the Gurnee American Legion Post and Waukegan Moose Lodge. He enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing. On November 24, 1956 he married
Ruth Simonson in Gurnee, IL.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth, his daughter Sheryl Larson, Waukegan, IL., a son Michael (Patsy) Satterfield of Kenosha, WI., 2 grandchildren: Crystal and Bryan Larson of Waukegan, IL., 7 sisters: Ann Marcott, Skanee, MI.; Loy (Wallace) Paquette, Skanee, MI.; Bonnie (Frank) Niemi, Gurnee, IL.; Donna Volpe, Lake Forest, IL.; Polly Goetz, FL.; Joyce (Dave) Dever, Wadsworth, IL.; and Babe (Jack) Anderson of Gurnee, IL.; and 2 brothers: Nellie Satterfield and Hall (Joan) Satterfield, both of Waukegan, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters and 4 brothers.

Dorothy N. Smith, 68, of Waukegan, Illinois, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2001 at St. Therese Hospital in Waukegan. She was born March 27, 1933 in Detroit, Alabama.
Survivors include her dearest friend James Kazak. Relatives include James and Melody Smith, grandchildren: 19 mo. old Alexander and 4 year old David, both of Dixon, IL., 2 daughters: Diane Karr of Hamilton, Alabama and Ruth Lollar of Pickensville, Alabama, along with a brother Hershell Martin Lockhart of Armory, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her parents, Virdie Johnson and James Stacy Lockhart, and sons Philip Lockhart and Sonny Lockhart

Dale Wallin, 60, of Waukegan passed away at his home on November 9, 2001. He was born on January 7, 1941 in Superior, Wisconsin.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; one son, Robert; five brothers, Vernon Wallin, Duane Wallin, Neil Vandberg, Loyd Vandberg and Lyle Vandberg.

William Chester Zeiler
William Chester Zeiler, 7 months of age, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2001 at Provena St. Therese Medical Center.
He was born April 1, 2001 at Condell Hospital in Libertyville.
He is survived by his mother, Joanna Lynn Zeiler; 2 sisters, Victoria and Veronica Zeiler; his grandparents, Gary and Paula Parks, all of Waukegan; also by his uncle, Chester Parks of Florida and several great aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, November 12, 2001 at PETERSON-PATCH FUNERAL HOME, 408 N. Sheridan Rd., Waukegan. Interment will be at Ascension cemetery, Libertyville. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 P.M. Sunday.
James "Bob" Fagan
James "Bob" Fagan, 68, of Wadsworth, IL, formerly of North Chicago, died Wednesday, November 5, 2003 at St. Mary Hospital, Rochester, MN. He was born February 2, 1935 in Waukegan.
Bob was a former President of the Lake County Tavern Owners Association, and helped form the Fox Lake Rotary Club, and served as it's first full time President. Bob owned and operated Bob's Place, Little Pete's and Mr. B's Lounge in North Chicago and most recently, Fagan's Squaw Creek Park. He was also a Marine veteran of the Korean War.
Bob is survived by his wife, Sally (nee Burtzos); four sons, James "Rob" Fagan of Des Plaines, IL, Steve Werner and Ronald (Cathy) Werner of Wadsworth and Mike Werner of Fox Lake, IL; nine grandchildren, Angela Renee, Stephen and Stuart Werner of Antioch, Jonathon and Jason Werner of Prescott, AZ, Caryn and Cory Werner of Wadsworth and Jennifer and James Robert Fagan IV of Dallas, TX; a brother, Charles (Brenda) Fagan of Ingleside; and five sisters, Geraldine (the late Hearl) Casey of Zion, Jean (George) Coffos of Tuscon, AZ, JoAnn (Carl) Cepon of Gurnee, Judy (Ed) Fojtik of Ingleside and JoDell (Dale) Meier of Irving, IL.
Bob was preceded in death by a son, George Werner; a grandson, Alan Michael Werner; a sister, Janet Cullum (2003); his parents, James "Bud" and Anna "Maxine" Fagan; nephews, Jeff Coffos and Charles Cullum; and a niece, Kimberly Swanson.
Visitation will be Monday, November 10, 2003 from 3 to 7 PM and Services will be 12:30 PM Tuesday, November 11, 2003 at the SALATA FUNERAL HOME, 729 - 14th St., North Chicago. Interment will follow at North Shore Garden of Memories cemetery.

Elsa Fiorenza, 95, of Highwood, Illinois passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2003 at the Highland Park Hospital. Born September 12, 1908 in S'Andrea Pelago, Modena, Italy and has been a resident of Highwood for 46 years. She was a member of the Saint James Church, Highwood.
Survivors include a son, Enzo (Margaret) Fiorenza of Highwood; two daughters, Orietta (Robert) Lapierre of Toledo, Ohio and Ornella (Raymond) Krewer of Lake Villa; six grandchildren, Enzo (Michelle) Fiorenza of Chandler, Arizona, David Fiorenza of Highwood, Joseph (Lori) Lapierre of Columbus, Ohio, Danielle (William) Barrow of Maumee, OH, Michelle Lapierre of Toledo, Ohio and Caryn (Walter) Page of Lake Villa; five great grandchildren, Bryan, Chandler and Leia Fiorenza, Devon Frankevic and Kylie Page; a sister, Iris Marchetti of Italy; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Orfeo on March 11, 1997; a granddaughter, Carrie-Ann Krewer on March 30, 1991; and six brothers and sisters.

Zachary Noah Fortunski
Zachary Noah Fortunski, infant son of Andrew and Kristin (nee Harris) Fortunski of Gurnee passed away Friday, November 7, 2003 at the Lake Forest Hospital.
Also surviving are his sisters, Jordan, Sabrina and Cassidy Fortunski, all of Gurnee; maternal grandparents, Bob and Connie Harris of Hobe Sound, FL and formerly of Libertyville and paternal grandparents, Elizabeth Fortunski of Arlington Heights and John Fortunski of St. Petersburg, FL.
Services will be held at 1 PM Monday, November 10 in the chapel at Ascension cemetery in Libertyville. Interment will follow in the Holy Innocents Section of the cemetery. Arrangements are by the BURNETT-DANE FUNERAL HOME in Libertyville. .
Danny L. Hacke
Danny L. Hacke, 54, of Antioch, IL passed away Thursday, November 6, 2003 at St. Therese Medical Center, Waukegan, IL. He was born October 21, 1949 in Waukegan, the son of Raymond and Jean (Matson) Hacke. He lived in Lake County most of his life and was a 1968 graduate of Waukegan High School. He served in the U.S. Army and later owned and operated Another Man's Treasure in Antioch. His interests included antique dealing, garage sales, drawing and cooking.
Survivors include a son, Brittain in Sioux City, IA; his father, Raymond (Sherry) Hacke of Wadsworth; his brothers and sisters, Patrick of Antioch, Robert (Peggy) of North Chicago, Robin (Toni) of Zion, Polly and All Zyss of Diamond Lake, Scott (Kathy) of Lindenhurst and Becky (Brian) Hanson of Park City; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean.
The family extends a special "thank you" to the Antioch Rescue Squad.
A Memorial funeral service will be held at 7 PM Monday, November 10, 2003 at STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH, 1055 Main St. (Rte. 83). Interment is private.
Visitation will be held from 4 PM Monday until time of services. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Antioch Rescue Squad in his memory.
Joseph Heraver
Joseph Heraver, 70, of Waukegan passed away peacefully at home with his family beside him on November 6, 2003.
He is survived by his wife, Charlene; a son, Jim (Ruth) Heraver of Zion; daughters, Annette (Brad) Kupsche of Fox Lake and Kelly Heraver of Waukegan; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Margie Jones of Waukegan and Mitzi Priester of Springfield, IL. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sylvia Istok.
Joe was a member of St. Dismas Parish. He retired from SBC in 1992. He served four years in the Air Force and was a member of Knights of Columbus as well as KSKJ Slovenian Society.
