Ann M. Musur
Ann M. Musur, 92, of Waukegan, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2003 at Rolling Hills Manor Nursing Home. She was born August 23, 1911 in Punxsutawney, PA, and has been an area resident for many years.
She was a 52 year member of St. Anastasia Parish, member of the Elks, Moose and YWCA as well as an avid golfer and bowler.
She is survived by her children, Betty (Frank) Trusky of Zion, Norman (Darlene) Musur of Sleepy Hollow, IL, and Anthony (Elaine) Musur, Jr. of McHenry, IL; seven grandchildren, Laurie, Lenard, Larry, Julie, Alicia, TJ and Jeff; nine great grandchildren, Zachery, Alex, Ashley, Eric, Megan, Aidan, Ava, Jessie and Christian; her two sisters and brother, Victoria Basile of PA, Genevieve Mustoshi of MI and Leo Gruca of PA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Musur, Sr., December 9, 1971; and her parents, Charles and Anna Gruca.
Funeral Mass will be 11:00 AM Monday, November 10, 2003 at St. Anastasia Church, 624 Douglas Ave., Waukegan. Interment will be at Ascension cemetery in Libertyville. Friends may call at church on Monday from 10:00 AM until time of mass. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ann Musur's memory may be made to Seasons Hospice, 1600 W. Dempster St., Park Ridge, IL 60068.

Lawrence D. "Larry" Piefer
Lawrence D. "Larry" Piefer, 47, of Wadsworth, IL passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2003. He was born August 19, 1956 in Chicago, the son of Donald and Jeanette (McGarry) Piefer. After graduation from Antioch Community High School, he worked as a computer operator for IMC and later became a roofer and remodeler.
Survivors include his two sons, Alfred and Ryan; his father, Donald (Dawn) of Wadsworth; his ex-wife, Rose; his cousin, Lynn (Mauro) Baiardo of Chicago and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanette; and his brother, John Piefer.
Visitation will be held from 12 Noon until 4:30 PM Sunday, November 9, 2003 at STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH, 1055 Main St. (Rt. 83). Interment is private.
Frank E. Pruski
Frank E. Pruski, 86, of Antioch, IL, passed on Wednesday, November 5, 2003, at Condel Medical Center, Libertyville, IL.
He was born in Latrobe, PA, on January 3, 1917, the son of the late Andrew and Helen Pruski. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Antioch, IL. He was a lifelong member of the D.A.V. and a member of the 'Stars and Stripes' in Round Lake, IL. He was retired from the Railroad Express Agency after 31 years of employment. On January 20, 1945 he married
his wife, Eleanor.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Eleanor; his son, Frank Jr. of Antioch and his daughter, Susan (James) Carroll of Hayward WI; and his grandsons, Robert (Renee) Jannusch and William (Tammy) Jannusch; and his great granddaughters, Susan, Grace and Taylor.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Virginia; and brothers, William, John, Victor, Andrew, and Robert.
Funeral services will begin at 9:15 AM Monday, November 10, 2003 at RINGA FUNERAL HOME, 122 S. Rte. 82, Lake Villa, IL 60048, to St. Peter Church, Antioch, IL, for a 10 AM funeral mass. Estrellita Salvador
Estrellita Salvador, 53, of Waukegan passed away Thursday, November 6, 2003 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. She was born October 27, 1950 in the Philippines. She was a member of Living Word Christian Church, worked at Cardinal Health on the assembly line and also worked part-time at Abbott Labs. She was currently President of the Mission Compassion International for the Poor in the Philippines.
Survivors include her husband, Angelo; four children, Allan (Lulu) Salvador, Ellen (Albin) Roman, Ella (Jason) Lingad and Angelo Salvador Jr.; six grandchildren; and three brothers in the Philippines. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Monday, November 10, 2003 at MARSH FUNERAL HOME OF GURNEE, 305 cemetery Rd. Interment will be in Ascension cemetery, Libertyville. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 PM Sunday and 10 to 11 AM on Monday at the funeral home.
Patricia Slak
Patricia Ann Slak, age 55, passed away Thurs, November 6, 2003 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago,IL. She worked for A-3 Services for 15 years and was a resident of Ingleside, IL for 9 years.
Patricia is survived by her husband of 35 years Joseph Slak, her mother Beatrice Kathleen Harbison, her son Paul (Karen) Slak, her brothers and sisters Dorothy (Carroll) Payne, Denis (Mary) Harbison, Debra Harbison, and Kenneth Harbison, her sisters-in-law Linda (Bill) Huber and Peggy (Bob) Barr and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Jasper Floyd Harbison, her brother William Douglas Harbison, and her sister Glenda Sue Harbison.
A funeral service is scheduled for Monday November 10, 2003 at STRANG FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM, LTD. 410 E. Belvedere Rd., Grayslake, IL 60030 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held immediately after the service at Avon Centre Cemetary in Grayslake, IL. The Reverend Lisle Kauffman will be officiating. Helen R. Steidtman, 81, of Waukegan, IL, died November 4, 2003 at Victory Lakes Continuing Care Center. She was born October 20, 1922 in Merrill, WI.
She was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
She is survived by Bill, Bruce (Diana), and three grandchildren and five great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Shirley Kuehn; and one brother John; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, William, and son, Eugue.

Albert Lee Scott
Albert Lee Scott departed this life on November 2, 2004. He joined First Baptist Church in North Chicago, IL at an early age. He was united in matrimony to Louie Scott. He leaves to mourn his wife, Louie Scott and four children, Noah, Tabitha, Issac and LaDene; his parents, Edward and Lizzie Scott, Sr.; six sisters, Nancy (Dana) Sibert, Margaret Scott, Donna Scott, Patricia (Larry) Montgomery, Christine (Derrick) Little, Jacqueline (Kenneth) Jackson; two brothers, Edward (Betty) Scott, Jr., Michael (Tanette) Scott, all of Waukegan, IL; two aunts, Ola Mae (Ala) Houston, Margaret Rigsbey of Chicago; two uncles, William (Paulette) Scott, Sr. and Howard (Willie Mae) Scott, Sr. of Waukegan and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Albert was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William and Ola Scott, Sr. and his maternal grandparents, Albert and Nancy Lindsey.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 9, 2004 at Jesus Name Apostolic Church. 208 Lake St. Waukegan. Pastor John I. Caples, Jr. officiating. Interment at Warren cemetery.

Estelle V. Spinar (nee Malkowski)
Estelle V. Spinar, age 94, a resident of Indiana for the past nine years, formerly of Fox Lake and Chicago, IL died Friday, November 5, in Dyer, IN.
She was born on April 23, 1910 to Paul and Pearl (nee Tabernacki) Malkowski in Chicago after her marriage to William J. Spinar. She was a housewife and mother in her home.
She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America, the Fox Lake Doer's Club, the Fox Lake Lioness Club. She was a former member of the St. Bede Catholic Church in Ingleside, IL and was a resident of the Lakeland Apartments before moving to Indiana to live with her daughter. In Indiana she was an intercessor for the Crossed Hearts Ministries.
Survivors include her children, William (Ann E.) Spinar of Harrisonburg, VA, Diane H. (Dennis) Dudek of Dyer, IN; her grandchildren, Andrew William (Lisa) Dudek and Aaron F. Dudek, both of Dyer, IN; two great grandchildren, Zakori and Faith; nieces, nephews and other relatives also survived.
She was preceded in death by her husband, by her grandson, Michael J. Spinar, by her brothers, Norman and Walter and by a sister, Helen.
Visitations will be on Tuesday, November 9, 2004 from 3:00-7:00 PM at the K.K. HAMSHER FUNERAL HOME, 12 N. Pistakee Lake, Fox Lake, IL 60020 (The Chapel On The Lake- one block West of Rte. 12- half a block North of Grand Ave.) and again on Wednesday from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the funeral home.
A Catholic Funeral Mass will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Wednesday at St. Bede Catholic Church 36455 N. Wilson Rd., Ingleside, IL.
Burial will follow at St. Mary's Fremont Center cemetery. Masses will be appreciated.
Hugo Frank Wagner
Hugo Frank Wagner, 74, of Waukegan passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2004 at Pinnacle Nursing Home in Waukegan. He was born July 24, 1930 in Oak Park, IL and has been a longtime area resident. He was retired from the Veteran Administration Medical Center in North Chicago.
Hugo is survived by his many friends.
Funeral services will be 10 AM Tuesday, November 9, 2004 at VA Medical Center Building #4 chapel in North Chicago.

Terry E. Bruns
Terry E. Bruns, 63, of Grayslake passed away suddenly Saturday, November 5, 2005 in McHenry, IL. He was born September 24, 1942 in Lincoln, IL and has been a resident of Grayslake for 35 years. He served in the U.S. Army as a M.P. and was the owner of Bruns Print Management in Grayslake.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Betty (nee Hansen); three children, Mike (Julie) Bruns of Elmhurst, Steve (Linda) Bruns of Miramar, FL and Michelle (Chip) Reeves of Algonquin; six grandchildren, Alec, Owen and Brittney Bruns and Christopher, Sarah and Samantha Reeves; his father, Edmund Bruns of Palatine; seven brothers and sisters, Pam (late Steve) Leiter of Vernon Hills, Tim (Linda) Bruns of Hillside, Barb Bruns of Palatine, Tom (Rose) Bruns of Elgin, Cindy Stahl of Evanston, Tony (Sue) Bruns of Carpentersville and Connie (John) Robinson of Barrington; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Allan Bruns on November 19, 1982; and his mother, Lorna Bruns on November 25, 2004.

Charles L. Burrell
Charles L. Burrell, 81, of Antioch, IL passed away Sunday, November 6, 2005 at Victory Lakes Continuing Care Center, Lindenhurst, IL. He was born August 19, 1924 in Madisonville, KY, the son of the late Charlie and Ann Myrtle Hill Burrell.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. In 1963, he moved to Antioch and founded Timber Lake Park Camp Ground which he operated with his wife until 1973. He also served as a Lake County Deputy Sheriff and later as a Lake County Court Bailiff for several years. Organizations he belonged to included the Fraternal Order of Police and the A.A.R.P.
On May 4, 1946, he married
Helen Plass in Elmhurst, IL and she preceded him in death on May 20, 2005.
Survivors are two sons, Larry (Mary) Burrell of West Dundee, IL and Ronald (Deborah) Burrell of Antioch; his daughter, Linda (William) Callahan of Antioch; seven grandchildren, Allen, Steve, Sean, Kelly and Scott (Erin) Burrell, Kimberly (Cory) Ultsch and Emily Callahan-Horton; and three great grandchildren, Timothy, Ryan and Emma.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Alice and Helen; and a brother, Sam.
