Jesse C. Fleming, 33 of Winthrop Harbor, IL passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 18, 2004 at Kenosha, WI. He was born April 10, 1971 in Waukegan and remained a lifelong area resident.
Jesse was employed as a truck driver.
He is survived by his mother, Margaret "Maggie" Herrmann of Winthrop Harbor; two brothers, Jeremy "J.J." Fleming and George Herrmann of Winthrop Harbor; his son, Kyle and also by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jesse Fleming and Rida Fleming.

Thomas E. Griffin Jr.
Thomas E. Griffin Jr., 61, of Hanover, Illnois, died Monday, May 17, 2004 at his home in Hanover. Private family funeral services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in the Hillside cemetery in Antioch, IL. A memorial fund has been established in Thomas' name to benefit the Hanover Rescue Squad and the FHN Hospice of Freeport, Illinois.
Thomas was born April 6, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Thomas E. Sr. and Helen (Pedersen) Griffin. Thomas spent his youth in the Grass Lake area in Antioch, IL. Thomas served his country in the United States Armed Forces during the Vietnam conflict. Thomas worked as a cook for many years. He enjoyed traveling, scuba diving and camping.
Thomas will be deeply missed by one son; Robert (Rhonda) Griffin of Azle, TX, one daughter; Sandra K (David) Caldwell of Hammond, LA, two sisters; JoAnne (Ronald) Kauffman of Wildwood, IL and Maureen (Gary) Pospichel of McHenry, IL, five grandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews.
Thomas was proceeded in death by his parents, one nephew Thomas J. Griffin and a special friend Tina Allen. Donations may be sent in Thomas's name to 5513 N. Highland Drive, McHenry, Illinois 60050 or directly to the rescue squad, or Hospice.

Frederick A. Hamburg, Sr.
Frederick A. Hamburg, Sr., 76, of Libertyville, IL, passed away Thursday, May 20, 2004 at the home of his daughter in Lake Geneva, WI. He was born January 9, 1928 in Chicago and had been a Libertyville resident for most of his life. Fred had been an automobile mechanic in the Lake Forest area for many years and following retirement, enjoyed fishing at Lake Puckaway in Montello, WI. He was also a big fan of the Banjo Buddies and Country Western music and movies and truly enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Surviving are four children, Irene Mueller of Pagosa Spring, CO, Bonnie (Michael) Frey of Wauconda, Jeanne Morris (Dan Pace) of Lake Geneva and Frederick Hamburg, Jr. of Lake Forest; 10 grandchildren, Christopher and Jennifer Mueller, Timothy Cochran, Shana, Jason, Kelsey and Hunter Frey, Robert, Phillip and Joshua Morris; his brother, Donald (Carol) Hamburg of Des Plaines; a sister, Elaine (John) Edl of Hernando, FL and many other friends and relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Ethyl Hamburg; by his wife, Nadine on October 3, 1988; by an infant son and a granddaughter, Nicole Morris.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 25 at the BURNETT-DANE FUNERAL HOME, 120 W. Park Ave. (Rt. 176) Libertyville, with the Rev. Daniel Thake officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Janice R. "The Nonny" Johnson
Janice R. "The Nonny" Johnson, 62, of Zion, died on Thursday, May 20, 2004 at her daughter's home in Round Lake Beach, Illinois.
She was born August 9, 1941 in Rhinelander, WI, and had lived in the Zion area most of her life. Janice was a member of Our Lady of Humility Church in Beach Park. She was a loving and nurturing mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and loved to travel with her family.
Survivors include two daughters; Roberta L. (Eddie) Johnson of Schofield, WI, and Loretta Johnson of Round Lake Beach; six grandchildren, Curtis, Erik, and Kimberleigh Johnson, and Jonathan, Ryan, and Heather Mathis; five great-grandchildren, Caleb, Alex, Sonny, Aden, and Krista Ray, Janice is also survived by a brother, Michael Belongia, and four sisters, June Patterson, Gayle Mumford, Barbara Randle, and Michelle Thompson. She was preceded in death by her mother and father Harriett and Raymond Belongia, her husband, L. Wayne Johnson in 1999, and her favorite canine companion "Sugar Mary Lou".

Victor Lindgren
Victor Lindgren, 78, of Michigan/Florida, formerly a long time resident and businessman of Libertyville, died May 13 in Florida. Vic was born February 14, 1926 in Chicago and was a Navy veteran of WWII.
He is survived by his children, Jim (Sue) Lindgren, Dave Lindgren, both of Third Lake, IL, Kathy (Chris) Lindgren Day of Wheaton, and Steve (Cindy) Lindgren of McHenry; his grandchildren, Brian, Bonnie, Erik, Tiffany and Samantha Lindgren, Tim, Tom and William Day; and his brother, Douglas (Donna) Lindgren of Deerfield.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys, of 54 years of marriage who died in 2003.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 22 from 10 AM until 2 PM at McMurrough Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville, where vigil services will be held at 2 PM. A Funeral mass will be offered at 10 AM Monday, May 24 at St. Joseph Church, 121 E. Maple St., Libertyville. Interment will be at Holy Rosary cemetery, Banat, Michigan.

Florence A. Miner
Florence A. Miner, 57, of Zion, died on Wednesday, May 19, 2004 at Victory Memorial Hospital, Waukegan.
Born June 20, 1946 in Chicago, Florence has lived in this area all of her life.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Thomas; one son, Robert Miner of Zion; one daughter, Robin Miner of Zion; and her step-mother, Mary Jesperson of Zion.
She was preceded in death by an infant brother Roger and by her father and mother Harold and Grace Jesperson.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 25, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, with Pastor Douglas Carlson of Grace Missionary Church of Zion officiating. Joseph P. Peters "Joe"
Age 87. passed away Thursday May 20, 2004 at St. Mary's Medical Center. Joseph was born in Racine July 30, 1916 son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Nee: Richow) Peters and had been a lifelong resident.
On November 21, 1940, Joe was united in marriage to Helen Schuster at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Joe was the director of quality control at Racine Steel-formerly known as Bell City Malleable for over forty years until his retirement in 1981. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed bowling. Joe was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be dearly missed.
Survivors include his loving wife of over sixty three years, Helen; three children, JoAnn (James) Gilmore of Milwaukee, Rick Peters of Waukegan, IL, Jacqueline "Jackie" (Ludwig) Hairapetian of Racine; seven grandchildren, Laurie (Ernie) Tanel, Cindy (Eric) Windschanz, Steve (Mary) Gilmore, Jimmy Gilmore, Ann (Tade) Gerischer, Jenny (Carlos) Martinez, Sarah Peters; five great grandchildren, Andy and Kevin Tanel, Jared Windschanz, Adriana and Emma Martinez; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to his parents, Joe was also preceded in death by his sister, Geraldine (Wally) Rieser.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1533 Erie St, Monday May 24, 2004, 10:00 A.M. with Rev. John Aiello officiating. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Garden Mausoleum, Hwy 32. Jim Wiley Pierson
Jim Wiley Pierson, was born February 15, 1935 to the union of Alma Dell and Zebedee Pierson. He entered into eternal life on May 19, 2004.
He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Shiloh Baptist Church in Wedowee, AL.
He moved here with his family in 1953. He was well known in the community. He worked with the tree removal service. He also worked for Boller Construction Company and Great Lakes Public Works.
He leaves to cherish his memory, three daughters, Katie Jackson of Waukegan, IL, Rose (Marlon) Mayfield of Zion, IL, and Denice Cook of North Chicago, IL; two sons, James Pierson of North Chicago, IL, and Curtis Jackson of North Chicago, IL; four sisters, Alma Jean Miller, Mary J. Pierson, and Clodine McMillion, all of North Chicago, IL, and Lela Loney of Richmond, VA; two brothers, Jerry (Mary Frances) Pierson and Donald Pierson of North Chicago, IL; one sister-in-law, Audrey Pierson of North Chicago, IL; and a special friend, Emma Jackson of North Chicago, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alma Dell and Zebedee Pierson; son, Tony Lee Jackson; sister, Juanita Pierson; brother, Zebedee Pierson Jr.; three brothers-in-law, Charles Miller, Willis McMillion Sr., and Hermon Loney, Sr.

Aaron T. Rogahn, 26, of Kaukauna, WI passed away May 20, 2004 in Ontario, Canada. He was born July 2, 1977 in Beaver Dam, WI.
Beloved husband and best friend of Tiffany L. (nee Micralowski). Loving father of Taylor Nicole. Dear son of Gerald and Diane Rogahn. Cherished brother of Andrew (Shannon) and Dana (Halcie) McDougal. Sally Trieger
Sally Trieger, 40, died May 20, 2004 at Harborview Hospital in Seattle, WA. "Sally the Great", because that's what it says etched into the cement slab of our screen porch.
Beloved daughter of Ralph and Corky Trieger. Loved and very special sister of John and Wendy Trieger and Andrew and Gail Trieger. Loving but elusive aunt of Max and Miles Trieger. Close friend to Linda and Geoff Bayne of Annapolis, and Robert Wolfe of Seattle.
Sally spent wonderful years in Jackson, WY and San Diego, CA and most recently lived in Seattle. She was pretty and had a vibrant sense of humor. She worked hard all her life and became proficient at planning and executing large group functions at hotels like the Sheraton in San Diego and Seattle, the Olympic, and one of her favorite work places, The Woodlan Park Zoo in Seattle. We hope she has cats to love love like Tiger, Skimble, Shanks, Hapoo and Cloud.

Hildur Irene Vera Wallin
Hildur Irene Vera Wallin, 92, of Waukegan, IL passed away on May 18, 2004 at Terrace North Nursing Home in Zion, IL. She was born on May 16, 1912 in Waukegan, IL.
Hildur taught grade school in the Waukegan area for over 40 years.
She is survived by two sisters, Ethel Wolfe and Lilly Palmer; four nieces and two nephews; several great nieces and nephews also survive.

Robert L. Worth
Robert L. Worth, 83, of Punta Gorda, Florida passed away May 17, 2004.
He was born January 5, 1921 in Lake County, Illinois and moved to this area in 1980 from Gurnee, IL. Mr. Worth was the owner of Worth Service Station, Inc. in Gurnee, IL. He was a member of the Gurnee American Legion Post #0771, Millburn Masonic Lodge #127 in Millburn, IL, Araba Temple in Fort Meyers, FL, Charlotte County Shrine Club, Senior Friends, the Isles Yacht Club and the Gurnee Community Church. Mr. Worth served in the Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years Eileen; daughters, Bettylou Miller of Port Charlotte, FL; Roberta Moors of Gurnee, IL; Susan (Robert) Schreiner of Wadsworth, IL; grandchildren, Pia Moors of Gurnee, IL and Elizabeth Tiernan of Wadsworth, IL.
Mr. Worth was preceded in death by his parents, Rollo and Bessie Worth and three sisters, Alice Josephine Worth, Helen Mitchell, Dorothy Zelenko.

Carl Nelson Bach
Carl Nelson Bach, 46, of Spring Grove, died Monday, May 17, 2004, at his home after a 20 month battle with brain cancer.
He was born Nov. 17, 1957, in Chicago to James Martin and Carlene Jeronne (Nelson) Bach. On Jan. 21, 1989, he married
Lynne Christine Ott, in Wauconda. Surviving children include Connie Alexandra, Andrew Christian and Joseph Nelson Bach of Spring Grove.
Carl spent eight years in the United States Army achieving the rank of sergeant. In 1984 he married
Phyllis Diane Thompson of South Carolina. She preceded him in death in January 1987, surviving children are Kaylan Neoma, and Kelsey Nikole Bach of Spring Grove.
He returned to Chicago and became involved with the Union Ironworker's Local No. 63. His grandfather was a charter member of the union, his father and several uncles were also members of the union. His life as an ironworker was exciting and rewarding, from working on buildings where he met his wife, Lynne to allowing him and to achieve in creating his own company with his wife in 1996, known as C & L Iron, Ltd.
Carl "Iron Man" and his wife, "Dora" filled their weekends with children's activities and their mini-vacation with their close friends, while out riding their Harley Davidson motorcycles.
Survivors include his wife, Lynne and children; a sister, Sally (Edward) Jasek of Austin, Texas; brothers, Kirk (Wendi) Bach of Lake Forest, Calif. and Jim (Margo) Bach of Winchester, Va; and 18 nieces and nephews.
He is also survived by his "adopted family", Conrad L. (Melicent) Ott Jr. of Chicago, Lauri Weber of Neskowin, Ore., Curt (Janine) Ott of Sandy, Ore., Liza Ott, Conrad (Kara), Chris (Maura) and Craig (Kim) Ott all of Chicago.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 21 at Spring Grove Funeral Chapel, 8103 Wilmot Road, Spring Grove.
Funeral Mass and burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a memorial garden to be made at their home in remembrance of Carl.
